Beautiful views. Peaceful. Unspoilt countryside. So much to do. The Granary is excellent, love it and we’d certainly love to come back.

A brilliant place to stay. So close to St Ives, with a local bus service. The cottage was like home from home. It had everything you could ask for. I would highly recommend.

What an absolutely fantastic property and host. The location is perfect with everything you need. Every detail was well thought out and Russell was extremely friendly and helpful.
The property was spotless and we were welcomed with some homemade scones, jam and cream on arrival. Then Russell delivered some freshly laid eggs which were lovely.
Our children loved the goats, chickens and games room. There is a beautiful walk into St Ives found just behind the property if you want to experience the beautiful views of the sea. Or if you prefer or the weather is not great there is a shuttle bus every hour which takes less than 10 mins to get you to St Ives.
Would highly recommend for anyone seeking a relaxing stay in one of the most stunning parts of the UK.

This was our first stay at Trevalgan and I am sure it won't be our last.
The Granary itself is one of four apartments in the former barn. It's spacious enough for a family of four (mum, dad, 2 boys 13 and 15), has a good, well equipped kitchen, and is very well presented, clean and tidy.
The beds are very comfortable - nice new mattresses and well ironed linen (good job Russell! :-) ). The king sized bed made all the difference if you are used to a bigger bed than a standard double. We all slept very well there.
The games barn is a great addition, though we didn't use it as much as I thought we would simply because there is so much to do in the area and a bit further afield.
There is easy access to the coastal path from the Granary (simply step into the field opposite), to walk up to Zennor (Tinners Arms pub there is great and there is a bus you can get back right to the door) or down to St Ives.
There is also a bus that goes from St Ives right to the campsite opposite, which is very convenient.
There is also a laundry / storage room underneath the apartment for communal use, which was excellent for drying wetsuits etc and lots of body boards, windbreaks, a surfboard and other things to borrow. Very useful and helpful addition.
Finally, I have to mention Russell the owner and Emma the housekeeper, both of whom were very helpful, friendly, great to get to know and always on hand to help, whether with a hot water bottle for my back or just a chat in the laundry room! Thanks very much for making our stay so enjoyable! We hope to return in the future.

There are not enough superlatives to describe how incredible our stay was at The Granary.
The accommodation was well equipped, beautifully maintained and the location was perfect.
Owners Russell and Mel clearly have a passion for what they do and I felt happy knowing that our stay was an ethical one.
A truly beautiful renovation of family run farm buildings and a genuine care shown equally to every guest.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Trevalgan Farm and will most definitely be returning.

This is the 10th Yr we have stayed with Trevalgan Farm. We have stayed in most of the barns. We were initially taking our dog to none of the pet accommodations, however our plans changed and we were offered the granary as its pet free. It is just stunning. Top level...views to the sea from the lounge and the hilly countryside from kitchen!
Carpeted throughout, fully equipped accommodation and cleanliness was top notch.
I think the fact we stay with Trevalgan every year and as I said for the past 10yrs speaks volumes alone.
ALL of the barns we've stayed in over the years are all outstanding, we cannot fault any of them.
Russell is super friendly, he will come along and chat if he sees you, and check everything is ok etc. You will often see him around his farm.
Wonderful chap indeed.
Goes without saying we'll be going back next year.

We had an amazing stay at The Granary at Trevalgan Farm Cottages. The cottage was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We were staying with our three children aged 6, 3 and 2 months. Downstairs in the store room there are ride on toys that our toddler loved, also cricket equipment the older one played with every day. There is an indoor games room with free pool, table football, table tennis and Darts. There is also a play area in this room for the little ones with lots of toys and a play kitchen. There are chickens, ducks and two goats that the children liked to see.
The location is excellent. We walked to St Ives with all the children. There are two options across the fields or along the coast. We took the coastal route and managed fine with the children and baby in a carrier. Over the summer months there is also an hourly bus to St. Ives which we used most days. Other than St. Ives you are surrounded by beautiful locations for days out.
We found this to be an excellent holiday with the children, something for everyone and we are sure we will be back.

We stayed for 1 week in the Granary. The accommodation was very comfortable and homely, and immaculately clean. We had a sea view as on the upper floor. Open plan living room/kitchen, which is perfect for on holiday as nice and sociable if cooking. Plenty of storage space. Great TV with apps eg You Tube. Easy spacious parking. Coast bus service stops just outside, great if you want to go car free for the day. Amazing walk to Zennor from the door step, loved the Moomaid Cafe there. Easy to get to Penzance, St Michael's Mount, Land's End etc, fantastic beaches too. Lovely helpful owners, what's not to like!
