Spacious meadow lodge with large enclosed front deck. Sleeps 5 (max 4 adults). Parking bay for 1 car. Two dogs welcome

We found Alana Bay to be bright, clean and modern. All the facilities were in great condition. The living space was very spacious and well equipped. We loved the location on the Meadows as it was quiet and great for dog walks. The property is only around a 10-15 minute walk down to the beach or 5 minutes from the facilities.

In general excellent spacious accommodation, great location and facilities. Very well equipped with everything you need. If I was been picky would like somewhere to put you toiletries in the shower, the tiles on the wet room shower need some attention, a pouffee or foot stool would be a great addition.
Would recommend and hope for a return visit.
Booking and check in were excellent.

Very comfortable spacious lodge. Nice interior touches make it a cut above. Location is central at the top of the meadows behind the lake. Comfortable beds, multiple balcony areas to catch the sun. Everything we needed

Very nice accommodation, very well equipped for the stay. Front balcony is enclosed which is a great idea as it leads onto the road.
Things to improve would be:
- tea towel, washing up utensils/liquid, fair enough only 1 dishwasher tablet provided but it is expecting a lot to bring a full washing up set up, would make keeping the lodge clean easier.
- state what type of coffee machine it is so coffee pods can be bought in advance.
- more cooking trays, especially pizza trays as this must be a very common thing cooked.

These are minor things but overall was very good.

The lodge was spotless.
Beds comfortable.
Had a problem with the drain to the shower which was dealt with straight away.
Our daughter is in a wheelchair and there was plenty of space.
Would highly recommend this accommodation.

We holiday at The Bay every year and this is the best beach house we have stayed in. Location was fantastic, very spacious and clean. Paula was great in keeping in touch from booking to our departure. We will definitely be back.

Excellent lodge, very well laid out, air fryer would be an improvement, the two rear deckings could be made more dog friendly

Thanks for the review. We do avoid air fryers as they are a fire risk if people are not familiar with them, and we are limited in what we can do with the rear decks as they are a fire exit in an emergency so we have to ensure they are both in keeping with the planning permission and allow easy exit if needed.

Really nice lodge, with lots of homely touches, dish washer and washer, the enclosed deck was great as my granddaughter could play out and not escape. We asked re a bed guard and the manager got one for us. Nothing was too much trouble.

Quick break away - never been to this area but the site and accommodation are first class.

Very clean lodge in good location. Paula very helpful and kept us well informed before and after arrival. Definitely will return.

Just had 11 nights at Alana bay lodge and the weather was lovely. Lodge is very comfortable and the enclosed front decking is a great idea when you have a dog. The only downside is the gravel road which is constantly leaving white dust over all the cars and covers your shoes when walking back to the lodge. Will still return for another stay later in the year .

The lodge was comfortable and nice to have 2 double beds and ensuites. The Kitchen equipment could do with some attention and we made the owners aware of our suggestions.
