We had a very pleasant stay at Bay Tree House. The location is great and having dedicated parking and an EV charger was brilliant. The park itself is quiet, well kept and tidy. There are bins everywhere and enough dog poo bins to ensure that people had no excuse to not pick up after themselves. In the week we were there, the gardening team were out on more than one occasion and I saw several employees out litter picking too.

The accommodation was very good. We loved the big dining table, there was enough seating for everyone to watch the TV if we wanted and there was plenty of space for everyone. The bifold doors to the back of the house were great for letting air through the house too. It was also great having a washing machine.

The minor niggles were really that, minor. The provided saucepans were so thin and cheap they dented when you tried to stir things and it was almost impossible to cook anything with it burning onto the bottom of the pan. The knife set was so blunt that cutting anything accurately was difficult to say the least. There were several cups that were very stained and some that had clearly been put away dirty. It was the same with some of the plates too - there was egg on a couple that needed a soak in the sink to remove before we could use them. None of these were enough to spoil the holiday, far from it, they’re just minor issues. The one thing I’d say is that the fridge situation is limited for such a large house. It does mention it in the listing to make sure people are aware, but one under counter fridge is not really enough especially as a large upright fridge could go in the space taken up the drinks fridge on a table - it’s a weird choice.

Overall, we had a great stay and would happily stay at Bay Tree House again, the minor issues aren’t enough to put us off and we’d bring our own knives with us and maybe a sauce pan too!

Thanks for your detailed review. Unfortunately a tall fridge won't work as it would extend above the worktops and therefore the back elements would be exposed.

The house was very nice, excellent location
I felt it could have been a little cleaner, we had to move the settee to retrieve something and when we did it was quite dirty. There were food items etc which we did clean up. Also dirty marks on the walls and cupboards.
Also the freezer drawer in the fridge was broken, so every time we opened the fridge door the freezer drawer dropped out.
But having said the negative things it is a lovely house and we enjoyed our stay

We had stayed on The Bay before in a different house. This time around we were very happy with the house, its cleanliness and location, which is perfect for getting to all the coastal towns you want to visit. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

We booked for 3 nights, the downstairs bedroom and ensuite were very spacious which was important for me as I have mobility issues. We really enjoyed spending family time at the large table in the evenings, our son and his family were staying at another property on the site, but came to us in the evenings and we were all able to sit and play board games. The kitchen is small but compact and had everything we needed.
The only issue I found was the sofas were too soft and for me getting up was a little difficult, however I just made use of the dining chairs.

Great property with 4 well apportioned rooms. We stayed with 2 couples each with 2 kids; the third king room the beds split into a twin so that it’s 2 kings, 1 twin/king, 1 triple with the bunk beds. Everything clean and good condition. Decent sharp knives which is rare! Location is excellent by the sea and good pool / sauna / steam facilities around the corner on site included. The EV charger is on the driveway which saved a lot of hassle finding charging, as there aren’t many other EV chargers nearby. Good internet. Would stay again.

Great house in a great location on the site. House is equipped with lots of essentials in the kitchen nothing has been missed. Bedrooms are a great size and the bonus of en-suites is great too. Loved the rain shower in the main bathroom. Paula constantly stayed in touched sharing pre arrival information and day of departure information too. We needed assistance whilst in the house and this was dealt with swiftly. Would certainly return.

A very roomy property, just what you need for 8 family members. The location is perfect, very near to swimming pool and other amenities. Second time we have stayed here and the addition of a wine fridge is great because the main fridge is only really big enough for food and a few beers. A very enjoyable stay.
