I come every year to this property, it is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable and like a second home, I just look forward to coming and relaxing forgetting all my worries every year! So close to the beach and it’s not a difficult walk (I was on crutches this year and managed it)Everything you need on site! Just a beautiful place to come relax and enjoy! Honestly won’t find a nicer place.

Had a fantastic stay here for Xmas. We all felt right at home. Very welcoming and someone on hand if needed. Fantastic view from the balcony and close to everything. Have even booked for next year and will definitely book again

Stayed at Filey Bay now 3 times in the last year. It’s a lovely clean peaceful area to stay. First time at Brigg End View, but hopefully not the last. The house is beautiful, packed with every you need for a visit. Plus only a 10 minute stroll down to the beach. We couldn’t ask for anything more.

The weather is everything and fortunately we were fairly lucky.
Very close to the overpriced shop and pub and the beach not far, house was very nice and had everything we needed. Gym, pool and sauna/steam rooms

Brigg End View is an attractive, homely and well equipped property with good access to the beach. We appreciated the extra touches such as clear instructions as to how to use the various appliances. As usual, the booking process and communication from Paula were excellent. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed our stay in this modern, well equipped and comfy house. Due to the extreme cold would have appreciated the heating being on when we arrived, but once the house warmed up it was ok for the rest of our stay. Good facilities on the site and nice walk along the beach to Filey.

We tried a short break to test the location and accommodation.
It was good and convenient for the beach. It is close to the gym and pub and children’s play area too.
But not ideal for us. The snicker to the beach is just opposite. Convenient for us but it means everyone wanting to get to the beach walks past our balcony and front window. Our dogs barked at each dog that passed. Fortunately in November it wasn’t too busy but I imagine in summer the footfall would be higher and the dogs would never shut up. Not ideal for us trying to relax and have some privacy. Shame as it is comfortable and reasonably equipped. We might be back again without the dogs as it’s a good value.

Sorry to hear your dogs didn't settle at Brigg End View. In our FAQs we suggest a few properties which are more suitable for reactive dogs so hopefully you can choose one of those for next time, or as you say, come without the dogs on another visit.

From the moment we walked through the door we relaxed, everywhere spotlessly clean and a clean fresh smell to the whole house.
Perfect location and as we had the velux window open in the ensuite bathroom we went to sleep to the sound of the waves and woke to the sound of the waves ( pure bliss ). Every staff member we met on the pub, shop etc were friendly and welcoming and we had some lovely meals at the pub.

Cleanliness was not as good as other properties we have stayed in on the site.
I also do not think that it should be marketed as dog friendly. It is not possible to use the balcony, which was one of the selling points, as we were told the dog was not allowed upstairs. If you have a dog it is best to call Filey Bay Direct to clarify the rules on what is allowed. Having said all this we did have a good holiday.

Thanks for pointing out the issue with accessing the balcony with your dogs. We are happy for dogs to go on the balcony and I know many of our furry friends enjoy the view from there.

A great property in excellent location. Perfect for an out of season holiday by the beach. Very tidy, well kitted out and certainly did the job. If I had to be picky, the beds were far too soft and the bedding very cheap and flimsy. We only had one hand towel. There is no lighting over the bathroom mirrors. Despite these comments I would still recommend this property for people who can sleep on very soft beds and are not bedding snobs!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brigg End View. It was our first family trip with our dog. The proximity to the beach is outstanding and we did lots of walking. The house was cosy and we made full use of the games on offer. So many extra touches that made our visit so easy

This is the second time we have booked through Paula and this time stayed in Brigg End view which was lovely, very similar to sea urchins cottage but better views of the coast from the balcony. Very clean and spacious and a great base for us to explore Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington. Great that it is dog friendly, although the grass had been freshly cut and not cleared up afterwards so it was a full time job getting all the loose grass off our dog before he came back inside. Another great stay at The Bay, we love coming back!

Beautiful well maintained property in a stunning location with views of Filey Town and Brigg End. Well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing week away. Just couldn't anything to open the velux windows in the bathrooms to let some air in.

Cannot fault this property at all. It was absolutely spotless when we arrived and the house is absolutely gorgeous. It’s very well set out with 2 en-suite bathrooms and a lovely balcony to out on. The Bay is one of our favourite places to stay at with Filey close by.

We stayed in Brigg End cottage for 4 nights. We were lucky with the weather for February. The cottage has everything you need, very clean and lovely and warm after an initial hiccup with the heating which was dealt with immediately. The view from the cottage was great, the local Tesco in Filey met our needs as we prefer to cook our own meals. Hubby said tge sauna/steam room was great. Our dog fully chilled out. The second bedrooms mattress wasn't as comfy as the front, that's my only criticism. I could feel the springs. But I would definitely recommend it.
