This cottage has everything you could wish for to enjoy a stay at The Bay. Located close to the Meadows and having the benefit of a parking area literally on the doorstep and being an end terrace means the property is not overlooked and has additional space outside if the weather allows you to take advantage.
The property has a lovely open plan dining area and the off set living area has plenty of room to accomodate the maximum number of guests allowed.
All of the equipment within the property is excellent condition
There is nothing but praise for Caramel Cottage and for the customer service offered by Filey Bay Direct

Everything we needed was in the cottage with plenty of room for 6 adults.

This is our second stay at Caramel Cottage and I have to say, it was as good as the first.
It has everything you need for a family of 5 and is very roomy and plenty of space for everyone. The dinning area with its large table is perfect for playing games and entertaining. The lounge is very comfortable and the log burner is perfect for those cold Autumn evenings after a long walk on the beach. Such a bonus having the two bathrooms and loved the large ensuite with it's walk in shower.
The location is perfect. Not too far from all the amenities and the walk to the beach and coastal walks. The enclosed garden with the BBQ is a bonus and we used it a lot when we stayed last year in Summer.
Paula is the perfect host and is always available available to help with any enquiries.
Absolutely loved our stay and will be returning again in the near future.

ideal position on the site, has everything you need. our party consisted of 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 girls aged 8 and 10. plenty of room in the cottage without tripping over each other and plenty of space outside. This cottage suited our family of 6 but it would be good value for money and easily suit a party of 4

Our stay at Caramel Cottage was very comfortable. The cottage is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and felt very much like a home rather than a rented holiday cottage. Lovely walk to Filey either by the beach or coastal path. Would recommend doing both. The Cottage although being spacious both inside and out, has plenty of areas for privacy if required.

This cottage provided everything you could need for a chilled and relaxing stay at The Bay.
The added bonus of the leisure facilities included make this property our new favourite.
Near to the meadow area so easy walking with the dog and the extra space in the form of the living room was much appreciated.
Beds very comfortable and easily plenty of room for 6 adults.

Caramel cottage is a lovely size for 6 people with parking pretty much on the doorstep.
Booking process was simple and instructions received in a timely manner. Log burner not used but imagine it is great when the weather turns colder.
Garden area, although not used at this time of year did need attention - shrubs overgrown and quite a lot of weeds in patio. Also, in a communication we were asked to remove all signs/ evidence of dogs before departure , which isn’t a problem in itself but does make you wonder why you pay extra for cleaning if you’ve removed all evidence that they were there?!

Thanks for taking time to review. The gardens are all maintained by the site management as they are communal. We don't charge anything extra for cleaning either - we do expect dog poo to be cleaned up by guests as it's not acceptable for anyone else to have to do this.

This is the third time we have been to The Bay, although the first in this property. The house was lovely, the beds were comfier than any of the others I've stayed in. The private garden was fabulous especially having 2 dogs. Location was good and ideal for a wonder round the meadows or a trip too the beech side cafe which I highly recommend. Definitely recommend booking through Filey Bay Direct we will definitely book again. 5 stars all round.

Everything was as it should be (excepting the weather). Our friends from New Zealand really liked it and even though the weather was below par the cottage was so comfortable it didn't matter. I have 2 slightly negative comments: both showers were raindrop showers a different one would be useful eg washing hair not the whole body. The child lock on the hob proved difficult and in spite of reading the booklet and watching a video we could not get it to work and the "buttons" were difficult to see so no cooked breakfasts.

No-one has struggled with the hob before so not sure what the issue was but if you'd contacted me, I'd have helped so you could have had your cooked breakfast!

Caramel Cottage is a spacious, very comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage backing onto The Meadows in a peaceful location. Short walk to the amenities (swimming pool, pub etc) and an easy walk down to the beach. Ideal place for families and dog friendly too. Enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

Well what can I say about this little beauty if you’re looking for somewhere to stay that is spotlessly clean, comfortable, relaxing and has everything you need for an enjoyable break, I would highly recommend caramel cottage. Six adults and a dog stayed here and believe me there is more than enough room for us all.

Caramel Cottage is perfectly positioned on the edge of The Bay holiday village - away from the hustle and bustle but only a few minutes walk away from the amenities and access to the marvellous beach.
The cottage was very well furnished with top of the range appliances and comfortable furniture.
Spacious and with an excellent level of cleanliness, we would happily recommend this property.

The accommodation was ideal for our stay, with good dining space, everything we needed in the kitchen and the addition of TVs in each room. Nice fresh decor.

The cottage is on a corner site which gave some extra garden space for the kids to play safely in. The garden also had a table and chairs for outdoor dining.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Caramel Cottage. Everything was just perfect. We loved everything but especially the private little bit of garden for the dogs. We couldn't ask for anything more and we were sad to leave. We will hopefully be back soon.

A big thanks to Paula for arranging some extra days at caramel cottage on the Bay. It has a great courtyard overlooking the meadow which is so peaceful and gorgeous when having your morning coffee. Caramel cottage has everything you need with a beautiful big master bedroom and en suite. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Will definitely be back.
