Last stayed in this property in summer 2017.

It was just the job for a short late September break, very comfortable settee in lounge, equally excellent beds, 2 really good walk in showers and a well stocked kitchen etc. Nice quiet location and no issues with sleepers at all - maybe helped with some shingle stones on them. Parking not a problem at all on this occasion even without no dedicated space. Would maybe say potential improvement if possible for a slightly larger TV upgrade and not sure if we were unlucky but the TV reception wasn't brilliant and not sure why but weren't able to get any radio stations without interference.

Again and as always first class exceptional customer service from Paula and her team from booking throughout stay to departure - highly recommended service. Piebald Inn and Seabirds first class for quality food and service.

Wow, you must have been one of our first guests in 2017! The weather does affect the signal along the coast and we have added a smart TV too so there is the back up of iPlayer etc, so there isn't more that can be done unfortunately. See you again Phil! The Mariners was very clean and contained everything we needed for our short break.
We all would visit again.
My personal preference would be less ornaments, leaving more space.

Couldn't fault Lodge stayed here a number of times. Has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Was spotless clean. Comfy beds. Paula is always on hand to help. Dog loves it. Great location for beach path. The weather was really good. Will definitely be booking again.

Stayed for a couple of nights and everything was fantastic, very comfy and clean, all mod cons included from coffee machine to dishwasher, all you need is included. The only niggle is no blackout curtains in bedroom but that’s personal taste. Will most definitely be staying again.

Ideal spot for an escape to the seaside. 10 mins walk to the beach and 40 mins walk to Filey along the beach. Site pub - “John Paul Jones” doesn’t open until 4 pm during the week. Pub - “Five Stones” on neighbouring Primrose Valley site is a Wetherspoons and open from Breakfast time. Can be reached via beach path two thirds of the way to Filey.

This was our third visit to the Mariners and once more it did not disappoint us. The venue was perfect for access to many beautiful walks and places to visit. The Mariners was very comfortable and provided everything we needed.

My wife and I together with our 2 children wanted a break at half term. I contacted Paula to see if they had anything available. We have never done air bnb never mind a cabin, but we had a fantastic experience facilitated by great service - would highly recommend. The cabin, lovely and cosy, fully loaded with equipment and furniture. The beach amazing for running, walking or just fun. Definitely go again soon

We visit Filey every month this year our chosen accomodation is Marines.It is always in good condition and things are updated as required.

The only issue with our property was the location. A lot of properties overlook each other. Having said that it did not spoil our stay

Booked 4 nights in early September. Very impressed with the site - it's clearly very well maintained. The Site Staff were on hand for anything and really helpful.
The Accommodation was just what I expected it to be, from how it's shown and described on the web. And they give you plenty of information when the booking is made - great for planning your stay.

We have been going to the Bay for over 13 years and have stayed in a wide selection of the accommodations available. This was one of the best, with a short walk to all the amenities and still managing to have the peace and quiet I needed.
The accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay.

The property was great, it was well cleaned, close to the beach entrance/exit but away from the main route there so felt more private.
It was very close to other houses but luckily for us these weren’t occupied so was a very private stay.
The lodge does sleep four but the living area only realistically seated three comfortably.
The lodge was well equipped and would recommend staying.

The property is absolutely beautiful and in a very good location, it was extremely clean and had everything we needed.
To give some constructive criticism I would say a better duvet is needed in the main bedroom as it was to thin and not warm enough for in the night. Also the main bedroom skydome needs a blind on it as it was getting light from 4.30am flooding into the bedroom. Also the instruction manual needs updating with how to turn the heating up. Other than that I could not fault the property.
The Bay itself is a beautiful place but they could do with getting on top of the maintenance in the Amusements Centre has we lost a fair few quids on machines that weren't working and the change machines were never working, the bar staff advised they had received a few complaints but it was out of their control. The swimming pool is lovely and the park is lovely and only about a 5 minute walk to the beach. We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Thanks for your review. We provide both a winter and a summer duvet for the bed (in the wardrobe), and someone must have switched to the summer when we had the mini hot spell. If I had known, I would have said! The heating instructions are sent to guests before arrival but I will check what is in the house too as it should also be the latest version. They are so simple to operate via the NEST control to keep it simple for our guests to choose their desired temp. Again I am always contactable for guest issues :-)

We had a great long weekend. The lodge was in a perfect location for us as the play area is right outside which the kids loved but you feel tucked away a little. It gets the sun on the patio area till late so it was great to be able to sit out.
It's a very welcoming lodge, clean, everything feels new still and it has lovely decor. It's got everything you could need plus a few added touches to make your stay easier.
The shop/leisure area is within a few minutes walk and it's very close to the beach path.
The beach itself is stunning, our dog just loved running around on the expanse of it. We were incredibly lucky on our last morning to see dolphins jumping out of the water as we were walking down the beach path!
We can't wait to come back to The Bay and would definitely choose to stay at the Mariners.

Had the best 4 nights stay in the Mariners. Have stayed here loads and I love it. There is everything you could possibly need. Clean & very comfortable. Slept well in the kingsize bed. My dog Skye loves it here. She loves laying on the decking & snoozing. My only disappointment is the rugs have gone, which makes it a bit tough for an elderly dog who's a bit wobbly. Will be back again.

We keep booking the accommodation and recommend it to our friends and colleagues. We have stayed in the winter and Summer months. Only had the pleasure of using the log fire once. Definitely a great place to holiday.

A perfect stay for a short break on the Yorkshire coast. Easy access for lovely beach walks in a comfortable lodge with all the amenities necessary for a very pleasant few days. The Mariners was cosy & well equipped & having the use of the swimming pool was an added bonus.

Very pleasant stay in a lovely beach house .
The house is very nicely decorated and equipped. It is located in a holiday resort 10 mins from the beach and 10 mins drive from Filey.
