Our second short stay with Norfolk Holiday Lodges this year and we are already looking to book next year for a longer stay. Both Lodges we stayed in were spotlessly clean, well fitted out and in a beautiful location. Our first stay was in River Retreat and we were so impressed with everything we managed to get an extra day stay. When we got home we booked another weekend this time with the Flag house and like River retreat it was spotless through out it had everything we could possibly want and an excellent view of the main river. I cannot praise this holiday firm enough. Tina was a great help and kept in touch to make sure all was well. Would give it 6 stars out of 5 if I could.

My family thoroughly enjoyed their stay at Flag House. Beautiful riverside location with wildlife on your doorstep. Caught lots of bream and rudd too, would recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful location.

Flag house is situated at the end of a small street at the riverside. The place is very quiet, the house as a very special appierence . Inside, we found everything we needed for a comfortable stay. In the morning you aweake with the sound of the ducks. Having breakfast or dinner is possible outside as well as inside the house always with a great view on the river where many boats pass during the day. For 6 personnes the house has plenty of space.
From Flag house you can visite the broads or the sea-side or pass a day in Norwich. Or just relax there - with a good book.
Although it's possible to get there by train from Norwich I recommend a car to get there.

All questions were answered by the Norfolk Holiday Lodge Manager. We even left a small knife which will be returned to us! We thank her for all the support.

A chair or two in the two big bedrooms would be a usefull extra. And we missed our Nespresso-Coffeemaschine. (But this is absolutely not ment to be negative.

We absolutely can recommend this place to people loving water and nature.

Well, what more can I say.
Excellent all round.
Sailing from the club on the opposite of the river Yare was great addition to watch on Sunday.
Tina and her gang excel in customer service.
So comfortable and very local to me makes it even more desirable.
Added bonus was the good weather.
Shall be booking again no doubt.

Lovely spacious upside-down house with everything you are likely to need. Tastefully decorated. Water pressure is great everywhere. The beds are big and comfortable.

The sun shines on the decking all day long and it's very peaceful and relaxing watching the boatlife go by. The whole downstairs has been great in the 30 degree sun and the bedrooms are naturally cool and you can open the doors to the outside to allow air in.

There is just enough room downstairs for a wheelchair to turn.

The Co-ops in the town are surprisingly well stocked with everything you might need. It helps if you have a Members card to get a better deal.

Tina has been very helpful if you have any queries, even to the extent of retrieving my clothes I left behind.

This has been the best holiday my family have had and we have been to many rentals. I would happily live there.

First impressions very different property in excellent condition prime location, very relaxing place to stay , we all had a

Would suggest smaller coffee mugs and some cups and saucers!!

Very comfortable with all amenities.
Enjoyed watching a mini regatta from sailing club opposite.
