April cottage was an absolutely fabulous place to stay. There was me, my 4 children (2 in travel cots), my sister, her partner, dog and 2 cats. There was ample space for us all and we never felt like we were in each others way. It was so great to have so many things provided (like tea towels, bin bags, all the essentials). Great instructions on how to get there. The price for our weeks holiday in August was amazing. The only slight thing I would say to the hosts is that in your instructions you say that you can put recycling in the main car park, this is not the case as most local recycling bins were removed to encourage curbside collections. So we ended up putting all our recycling in the normal rubbish as we didn’t want to be driving round Cornwall trying to find somewhere to recycle. I would suggest printing a list of your recycling collection dates so that if people are staying that week they can put the recycling out, I know I would happily do that. Apart from that it was a fabulous place to stay and if I’m ever in that area of Cornwall again I wouldn’t hesitate staying there!

We had a very enjoyable stay at April cottage and we were lucky enough to extend our stay for an extra couple of weeks. The cottage has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The cottage has a small court yard garden and there are plenty of lovely places nearby to walk dogs. This property is on the roadside but we were never disturbed or noticed any traffic noise.
There is a free car park across the road and a bus stop on the corner so this makes things very accessible.
