We booked Scot’s Pine Lodge for its closeness to Oulton Park we also needed 3 bedrooms/bathrooms, arrived at the lodge and immediately loved it the open kitchen/dining/living space is spacious and well furnished very luxurious, the bedrooms were also well furnished with plenty of drawer and cupboard space. The beds were so comfy I have asked and been given the details for the mattress as so lovely we all slept so well. The next day we explored the shop and cafe and realised most of the food including cooks frozen we could of bought there rather than taking it with us lesson learnt for next time we didn’t need to take any food with us apart from cereal I never saw that in the shop but could be wrong, there was in the lodge a spare toilet roll, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs and a bottle of cleaning fluid also body/hand wash in the bedrooms. I take my own large kitchen wipes as just find them easier in this situation, the cupboards were well stocked although only 6 mugs and as we are huge tea/coffee drinkers we were constantly having to hand wash but we got over that, My 4 out of 5 for cleanliness was the lodge hot tub and bbq were spotless however the outside area should of been cleaned far better I found a brush and swept the hard outside area as was bad, the table also needed a good clean and the large wipes I took came in useful as the table was rather dirty also the grass was in need of a cut. The hot tub was great hot and ready to use the 1st night, here is were my gripe comes and it’s a big gripe as we have stayed at dozens of different lodges over the years, with/without hot tubs, with/without saunas but I have never ever not had a washing machine so here each time we used the hot tub we had to hand wash our swimwear through now that on its own isn’t the end of the world but to then be charged for dressing gowns to use to get from bedroom to hot tub I thought mean and also I had additional towels as only 1 hand and 1 bath towel per person was in the lodge, I’m guessing you are expected to use the same bath towel you have use in the shower when using the hot tub NO THANKS, either place a washer/dryer in 1 of the many empty cupboards in the kitchen so people can wash the towels, swimwear etc or don’t charge and leave extra towels and dressing gowns for people to use, would I stay again certainly I would and will. All in all loved the lodge and can only recommend thanks Hollies

This lodge blew us away, it was amazing!
My wife and kids were so excited when they seen it! So big, so many rooms, all the little bits you could need such as an iron, hair dryer etc too.
Lovely and peaceful which was excited what we needed!
The hot tub was lovely too.
We will definitely be coming back soon!

From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we had an amazing stay at our lodge.
It was larger than we had expected and beautifully appointed.
All the beds, furniture, appliances and utensils are premium quality.
The lodge certainly exceeded our expectations.
The farm shop, cafe and restaurant were superb. Using local, quality, suppliers (as well as a lot of home made items) it was a delight for the senses with each visit.
On the occasions we contacted customer services we found them extremely pleasant, professional and very helpful.
We are already looking forward to our next stay.

We booked. Monday to Friday stay at the Scots Pine. We absolutely love The Hollies Retreats and the beautiful farm shop and barn. The self check in and check out was easy - absolutely nothing to do except turn up and start enjoying your stay. Beautifully furnished with style. One thing that was missing was a cafetière for my multiple cups of coffee in the morning although a pod machine was available so this was just preference for me. Can’t wait to go back hopefully won’t be too long before our next stay.

the lodge is absolutely beautiful, the attention to detail is amazing. Everything has been thought of. The location is so peaceful - couldn't hear a thing except the birds. and the wander over to the Hollies to make the most of farm shop treats is ideal. it was wonderful! hope to be back. thank you!

What a spectacular lodge to spend a couple of days in with the family between Christmas and New Year! We actually wanted to live there! Everything that you need is provided and it feels very luxurious. All staff on site were as helpful and friendly as you could want.
One very, very minor point is that the sofa could be more comfortable for relaxing in front of the tv, but that might be personal preference.
Well definitely be booking again in the future.

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed their time at Cheshire -Scots Pine.
The layout of the lodge was excellent with each of the three bedrooms having its own en-suite.
On a negative note, one bedroom had a skylight in it and with heavy rain on a couple of nights it woke the occupants up. The other minus points were not providing a washing machine and not having a solid roof over the hot tub.

We have stayed several times at The Hollies Retreat and visited three of the lodges there. Each lodge is beautifully decorated and there is a feel of luxury when staying. Located not far from Delmere itself, it is an ideal location to relax and recuperate.

We have been to the hollies a few times, but never at Christmas until this time, the setting outside was stunning, lights entwined around trees and bushes.
Inside the Scot’s pine was just as beautiful with a tree and festive lights around the fireplace.
The farm shop and shops were just as festive and magical with lights and music playing.
We really enjoyed a relaxing time here over Christmas.
Well done team hollies on creating such a beautiful setting at Christmas time.
