We had our wedding at Muckrach Country House, as an exclusive use venue. They were easy to work with, communicative and accommodating - we booked the venue 4 months before our wedding day! Jozsef was very friendly and helpful when organising our day, and very knowledgable about the running of the house. We felt in safe hands. We stayed at the Cathedral House, and it was a beautiful home for our week there. The kitchen, adjoining family room, the four bedrooms, and the three full baths were all nicely appointed. It was a very warm and cozy home, and the nearby restaurants and town were very accessible from the house. It is a central location to anything!

Myself, my husband and dog stayed at The Glenmore Lodge for a few nights and the place was amazing! It was spotless and gorgeously decorated. Everything felt so high end and nothing was missing. Everything felt luxurious and worth the money we spent. Hamish and Dougal the Highland Cows were such a delight! Loved our stay at the The Glenmore Lodge!
We had the most wonderful stay in Cairngorm Cottage. The accommodation is a perfect blend of comfort (think large cosy beds and sofas), luxury (every fitting and fixture), peace (surrounded by stunning countryside) and quality. The design of the cottage flows easily and every space is designed to function well and also to look beautiful. After exploring the large cottage, full of “wow” moments (the view out back, the stairs and mezzanine floor, the master suite), we immediately relaxed and felt at home. We stayed in the Norway Spruce as a family of four and we loved our stay here! Everything in the lodge was really high quality and beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfy with high quality pillows and linen. It was so quiet and peaceful and the hot tub was a really lovely treat after a long hot day at Chester Zoo! The customer services staff were so warm, genuine and professional when I contacted them and provided exceptional customer service to resolve our problem. We visited the farm shop every day and everything we bought was amazing! We would definitely come back again in the future...more

Service at check in was dreadful. We were not provided with key code and when we got help we were treated rudely. It was as if we were trying to fake a booking. The lady insisted on going through my emails from hollies and even though she had laptop which she could surely have confirmed my booking which was already paid for
We stayed at hollies retreat grand fir lodge ,first impressions Amazing furnishings were beautiful.It was spotlessly clean we had ordered a breakfast hamper which was there ready when we arrived.hot tub was ready to go the only thing I would say was I did expect to have bathrobes included in you’re stay like most 4/5 star accommodations with hot tubs they are normally supplied.However you can hire them at £5 each .we really enjoyed our relaxing stay here and can’t recommend the lodge and beautiful farm shop enough,we had a lovely bbq with gorgeous chicken& steak kebab’s purchased from the butc...more
We booked for 5 nights away with family and The Hollues Retreats delivered in spades. The Lodge was outstanding with everything we could ever need provided to the highest of standards. And the huge enclosed outdoor space with hot tub and bbq just added to the experience! And to compliment the accommodation we had the amazing farm shop providing the best of local produce and the delicious Fresion Room with amazing food and coffee. I had a wonderful stay in the Tollmache room at Stay on the High Street. Cosy room and lovely run around Tarporley in the morning. I will definitely be staying again when in the area. Thank you!
