We had the most amazing and comfortable time at the hollies highland lodges, specifically the speyside suite. I missed the part where it says that this accommodation didn’t have a hot tub so was disappointed but I wasnt bothered about a hot tub anyway, a real log fire would be nice instead of an electric one but the suite was very warm and cosy. Shower gel, soap, shampoo all included and well stocked. Appreciated that tea bags, coffee, sugar and milk was provided. The bed was massive and very comfortable, the living room area is also so cosy and appreciate having full access to the smart TV apps. I will definitely be coming again to use this as our highlands base when we visit again. Was so sad saying goodbye to Hamish and Dougal for one last time! I personally think guests should be allowed to park right against the property and not in a separated car park - it wouldn’t cause any obstructions and is more convenient.

Once again another great relaxing long weekend at the Hollies retreat.
We really can’t fault the accommodation or location, so peaceful and tranquil.
The lodge was spotless with everything you require.
The grounds to walk the dogs was ideal with little to no traffic.

We’ll be booking the Cairngorm lodge for early next year for another fantastic break.

I’m sure that you get lots of glowing reviews for the property, and well-deserved. The only thing that we would suggest is outdoor lighting by the door. I would suggest a rack of some sort in the loft to hang up clothes. Also the hot tub was stone Cold, I don’t know if there was a process to have it turned on, but nevertheless, it was unusable.

This was my second time staying at The Hollies Retreats - so good just had to return for longer! The facilities within the Suites are very high standard and always immaculately clean. The housekeeping team do a marvellous job. It is the perfect location to be based for walking and exploring the surrounding area.

We've stayed at the main house on this property, but as we were a smaller group this time we stayed in one of the lodges. As usual the service was great and the space was perfect for our group (4 adults and 2 kids). Location is convenient for nature, wildlife and whisky. A few local restaurants plus we have used an incredible private chef a few times. Highly recommend this property.

We both loved everything about the Speyside Suite.
It has everything you need, it really felt homely, immaculately clean, beautifully furnished and the position of the lodge was stunning.
I’ve already recommended it to several friends and we will definitely be returning.
A perfect base for discovering The Cairngorms.
Hamish and Dougal ( The Hollies Highland Coos) are the star attraction

Stayed here for 4 nights at the start of June. On arrival onto Muckrack Estate everything was attention to detail. The grounds were very well maintained, then we entered The Speyside suite which was immaculately presented. We loved the lay out of the accommodation, The lounge looking outwards onto the 2 highland coo's and all those trees, so relaxing. The bedroom was very spacious with on suite, shower was excellent, but favourite place was the kitchen, just such a welcoming place, we passed lots of time sitting socialising here. If I have any complaint it would be that if you want a night of cooking you need to travel, would be nice to have something within the main house which I have been told did provide meals.

These lodges are hidden gems. Just off the A95, north of Aviemore they are ideally positioned to explore the Cairngorms and surrounding countryside. Beautifully maintained and always spotlessly clean they offer a relaxing way to unwind in this beautiful setting.

Although we were booked into the Speyside Suite we were moved to The Glenmore Lodge which was stunning.
The lodge was immaculate and had everything that you needed a real home from home. We were lucky enough to have some snow so the log burner was perfect after a days walking. The views from the lounge were gorgeous, we saw Hare , deer and Pheasant not to mention the Highland COO’s at the end of the drive.
What’s not to love about at this lodge, would definitely book again. Thanks Team Hollies you surpassed our expectation.

We stayed here for 2 nights in February. Roughly 20mins drive from Aviemore The lodge was very spacious and clean, the kitchen was very modern, the living room was cosy. Bathroom and en suite kept clean and well maintained; overall the entire lodge was well kept and tidy.
They have 2 pets highland cows at the front of the entrance, I've never been so up close to one before!
Would stay here again!

Very relaxing short break for 2 people and a dog. The Speyside Suite is very well set up for a luxurious stay with everything you need to have a chilled break. Beautiful walking country and things to do even in winter when there's no snow!

The location of the suite was peaceful and has a great outlook onto fields and hills. The suite itself felt like luxury but still has a homely feel to the stay (the hosts had put up a Christmas tree which was much appreciated). The power went down due to a blizzard, but the hosts had the power up and running in 15 minutes and kept us updated. For a peaceful, relaxing retreat, this was the perfect place.
