From start to finish, the experience of hosting our wedding and guests at Muckrach was perfect. We wanted a small intimate occasion with close family and friends and Muckrach gave us the luxurious surroundings to achieve this, and enjoy! The house is spotlessly clean and the ground floor flows through different rooms providing plenty space for everyone to be together in a beautiful old building with a mix of traditional and modern. The bar area is fabulous and the conservatory was ideal for the ceilidh after being used for the ceremony and the wedding breakfast! Very useable space. The house kitchen is huge and has every appliance you could ever think of, and more! Staff could not be more helpful, both on site and Hollies office. Thanks to Jozsef for braving the weather to clear the snow off the driveway for our guests arriving and to the whole team in making sure the house was perfect for our arrival. We, and our guests, didn’t want to leave and would love the opportunity to visit again in the future.

We came to view Muckrach around a year and a half ago and knew straight away it was exactly what we wanted for your wedding.

Fast forward to August 2025 we couldn’t have been happier with how our day and weekend went. We had the house and the lodges for a few days. All of our guests and suppliers were amazed with the venue.

We absolutely loved having our wedding celebrations here and couldn’t have done it without the incredible help of the team and flexibility we were given. Donnie was incredible and made everything seem completely hassle free.

If anyone is considering this as their venue we would highly recommend it! We can’t wait to hopefully come back one day.

We loved staying at Muckrach House. It was truly magical. The customer service provided in the run up to our stay was perfect. The house itself is stunning, we couldn't have asked for better and it worked brilliantly for our small intimate wedding. All of the rooms are so lovely and everything has been thought about. The kitchen is more than supplied with everything you can need for self catering also. Thank you again so much for a perfect weekend :-)

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish.
Ease of booking - help and cooperation all the way! Just fabulous. Go again on a heartbeat.
Loved the public spaces - blazing fires and the bar is such an asset. Everyone had a ball from start to finish.
We booked for three days and it felt like three seconds it was so good.
