We had a fab week away when we stayed at ‘Anchor at the bay’. The cottage was gorgeous and had everything you could ever need. The patio doors opened onto a lovely grassed area for quickly letting the dog onto but 5 minutes round the corner was the wildflower meadow and the lake that we walked round too. Beach access was great. We also did archery which was great fun even though it got a bit competitive . Highly recommend Anthony and Anchor Bay Holidays

Absolutely superb accommodation with all mod cons. Everything you could possibly need was there. The property is located close to the entrance to the Bay so a little further to walk to the beach than some other properties. This wasn't however a problem for our 6 and 4 year old grandsons. Anchor Bay Holidays are a very professional outfit who communicate most thoroughly. Wouldn't hesitate to book with them again

The host of The Anchor, Anthony, was super! Really communicative and helpful. We would definitely recommend and stay again!
We stayed here for a long weekend while we were looking after our niece and nephew and our 2 children.
The house was just as described in the photographs, immaculately presented, spacious, and equipped with everything you need for a holiday away. The living area and the dining room with a small sofa enabled the adults to have some quiet time on an evening, but there was plenty of space for everyone to be together as well. The bay itself is a perfect place to use the facilities such as the swimming pool and gym, or go down to the beach, go into Filey or explore the coast further afield. We would recommend going to The Beach Café in Hunmanby for outdoor breakfast, which you can reach by walking south along the beach for about a kilometre when the tide is out.

A beautiful house, so very comfy, spotlessly clean and welcoming.
Anthony is a perfect hosts and was excellent with matching our needs to the perfect cottage. We were kept updated with all the information for checking in and guides to help with our stay. A lot of attention to detail and to a high standard.
The cottages has been carefully designed and lots of extras were included, in fact everything that you may need during your stay. Will highly recommend to friends, we loved it so much that we have already booked our next visit.
Thank you so very much for making our holiday so very special for our Christmas break as a family.

We’ve been quite a lot to the bay at Filey and ‘Anchor at the bay ‘ was one of the nicest homes we’ve stayed in so far! It was fabulous ! perfect for a family ! Very comfy warm and welcoming also very well equipped!! Our dog loved it and was made to feel very welcome! Would definitely go back again!!

From booking to our return home communications we’re excellent.We always felt that our concerns could and would be dealt with.
The accommodation was well appointed and in excellent condition.As a family we have been going to The Bay for many years and have a good appreciation of many properties on the site, and, Anchor at the Bay is well up there with the best of them and would have no hesitation in recommending it.

We have stayed in a few properties at the bay but this was by far the best one. Lovely and spacious and modern and very clean. Anthony, the owner is very helpful, we would definitely go back.

Excellent customer service - Anthony was great at communicating with me and responded very quickly to any questions I had.
The house is in a lovely location and is very well equipped.
Comfortable for 6 people but tight for any more than that.
Lots to do in the nearby vicinity.
Would highly recommend.

Great property with quality fittings and furnishings throughout, well equipped kitchen for utensils and cutlery which is a blessing.
Lovely and clean and in a nice area with a garden at the back (shared but great)
Will use again for sure, highly recommend.

The house was modern, immaculate and with a well-appointed kitchen. Kitchen and diner were a good size and whole house was warm and cosy. All bedrooms had televisions, fresh white linen and ample plug sockets!

The house is one of the furthest from the centre of the resort but it’s only a short walk to reach the facilities. The beach can also be reached in approx 10-15 min walk and is a beautiful and quite secluded stretch.

Communication was great, with emails confirming everything you need to know plus walks information and site maps.

Kids loved it and it was an excellent place to use as a base for exploring the Filey area. A wonderful holiday!
