We loved our recent stay at Avenue Victoria Apartment - it is comfortable with beautiful furnishings and kitchen very well equipped (loved having an air fryer)! It’s very quiet and beds comfy & powerful rain shower. Anthony and Laura both very responsive to queries before and during the holiday. Would happily stay here again! There was always ample parking out front with the provided visitors permits. Thank you for a wonderful stay
Lovley location the hotel next door pop in for drink are if you fancy not cooking the breakfast and meals are lovley also Tesco express,fish chip shop chicken takeaway and bakery all in few minutes the cottage was was few minutes walk to beach and bus stop right out side runs every half hr
A lovely stay at The Bay Filey, the cottage (Tracey Island) was very clean modern and comfortable, its been well looked after, would definitely recommend, as there's plenty of places to visit in the area
We booked here properties for a family holiday to celebrate my 60th Birthday and my Mum's 90th birthday, as a joint celebration, although we have stayed at the Bay many times I various accomodations. Thee large house was perfect for us all to get together for evening - as there were 12 of us in the party and there was plenty of room, both around the table and in the 2 lounges. It was also lovely to sit out on the veranda on a morning for breakfast, as we had some lovely warn weather. Ideal position for us - well equipped clean and comfortable. On any future visits we will try for this position again . I thought the whole site was weak cared for in fact very much improved . I have stayed at The Bay several times in the past but not been for a while. The only thing I would point out the sleepers are VERY slippery and many are going rotten thus need renovation .
We chose Pearl & Spice to accommodate 10 members of our family for a well deserved break as my partner hadn't seen his daughters and grandchildren for awhile . Each sleeps 5 so we thought these cottages would be ideal. and they did not disappoint. Absolutely stunning properties, although different layouts both were superb.Spotless and very well equipped . Nice clean apartment & very quiet considering it was the main summer holidays & the site seemed busy. On entering the apartment there is a handy shoe rack with seating. Bed very comfortable & p!entry of storage in bedroom. Bathroom nice with lovely walk in shower. Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. There is no dryer and we didn't want the heating on as the weather was warm but the towels did dry fine on the airy. This is our third time staying at Arthur’s Retreat for the two of us and our dog this year, so we obviously like the property. Great, clean accommodation in a good location. It has everything you need for your stay. The corner sofa and bed are very comfortable and all kitchen equipment is in first class condition. There is also plenty of parking outside. Hope to return again next year.
Our second stay at The Sandpiper. We’ve stayed at The Bay Filey for many years but always chose different properties. We returned to the Sandpiper as it’s perfect. Clean and well presented, room downstairs for two small dogs and near amenities.
Pebble Cottage was far more than we expected. The cottage was in an exceptional condition and the welcome gifts were very much appreciated. I cannot fault the customer service at Anchor Bay Holidays. There was a minor fault with the Wifi system which was sorted within fifteen minutes of me contacting the 24/7 helpline. I would definitely recommend this company and this part cottage to my friends.

Booked this holiday at very short notice. We were not disappointed with our decision , the house was very clean , comfortable and tastefully decorated.
The house was perfect. Location was good but I had thought we were right on the edge of Bridlington.(I can only walk short distances but not a problem for my daughter and grandson) . The house is really well equipped with very nice furniture,fixtures and fittings.Lovely to have a washing machine. Three loos ! Good internet access The hot tub just completed it for us. Lovely cottage on the bay, very comfortable and clean and cosy! Heating easy to work and everything you would need for a short break! We really enjoyed our stay at The Puffin Pad. Clean, well equipped, very friendly owners, we felt we coukd contact them if necessary. Our only grumble was 2 family members rented houses on The Bay that were only very slightly more expensive than the flat but that wouldn't put us off renting it again. Many thanks for a great stay.
We had a fab week away when we stayed at ‘Anchor at the bay’. The cottage was gorgeous and had everything you could ever need. The patio doors opened onto a lovely grassed area for quickly letting the dog onto but 5 minutes round the corner was the wildflower meadow and the lake that we walked round too. Beach access was great. We also did archery which was great fun even though it got a bit competitive . Highly recommend Anthony and Anchor Bay Holidays

Small tiny feedback is some of the beds were missing mattress protectors , the wooden patio furniture was a little tired and heavy some more modern lighter weight furniture would be fantastic . We’ve stayed at the bay numerous times and it’s a modern development but it’s getting on a bit. As such sometimes you can pick fault with some tired parts in properties but the wagging wave is spot on. Decorated nicely, and consistently throughout. Great shower and a bath in a decent sized bathroom. The single beds were big enough for adults and the beds as a whole were comfortable. Very clean and tidy apartment, easy to follow instructions given to us through email and text. Everything in the apartment we needed. Because of the good weather we spent a few days on the beach.
We stayed at Bliss on the Bay for 5 nights. We had a lovely stay the apartment was clean tidy and had absolutely everything you could need. The site and general area is always clean and tidy plenty of bins around to make sure of this. We love coming to the Bay Filey it has everything for a quiet and relaxing break. We will return.
Lovely holiday home in a great location for quiter family breaks, still with some ammenities such as a shared pool, tennis court, shop, pub etc. Fun for young children in the small on site arcade too. Paddy’s Corner is a spacious, modern property, light and bright. We really enjoyed our stay!

Baileys beach house is a lovely holiday home with everything you need for a lovely costal break modern and clean and in a good location it’s just a personal preference and I know the bathroom has a frosted window and placed away from the shower/bath but I think it would give more privacy with a bathroom blind would certainly book again
Very cosy and tidy holiday stay in a lovely part of the country. The food and drinks in the on site pub are very pricy, but I guess they can be as it is a tourist attraction. Willow cottage was great.
We loved our anniversary break in The Gingerbread Cottage , highly recommended , perfect location, we were there 6 days with our 2 dogs and everything was perfect . The cottage had everything we needed . Was clean and cosy, and the best place to unwind after a day out on the beach , will be back.

This apartment is ideal for me and my 2 young boys, it feels so comfortable and spacious and of course the huge TV helps. We’ve stayed 4 times in 6 months and are already thinking of our next visit. Highly recommend for everyone.
I booked this for my elderly aunt and uncle who were struggling to find somewhere to stay. It was exactly what they needed and more. They loved the gadgets but would have loved a guide book on how to use the oven, microwave and Ninja kettle. My uncle couldn’t sit on the sofa as it was too low for him so he had to sit in a hard backed chair. He is 86. They also found some damage on the inside of the wardrobe when they were packing up to go but no record of it , so they recorded it in a book anyway. But they had a lovely few days with us for my dad’s memorial.
We had a lovely stay at the Tidal Shack. It was clean and comfortable and well equipped though was missing a pizza cutter (we find this with a lot of holiday properties for some reason!). We would definitely recommend the property and Anchor Bay Holidays and would book again if we were heading to Filey again.
Oyster Cottage is a perfect location and the accommodation was superb. It was clean, cosy and the customer service was first class. We will definitely be returning next year.

Nice interior fixtures ,quiet and clean site ,slept like a log ,walked to the beach bear in mind all the coast has steep incline access ,excellent access to Whitby ,Filey and the gem of Flamborough Lighthouse ,only downside no view from the lodge only into other lodges and wooden plank car parking
We are thrilled with our stay at the wonderful property it fits in with our family share Christmas present. Booked again for this year. The Bay is a quiet non intrusive calm break away from all the hustles of life and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Pet friendly makes it perfect for us.

We spent a weekend at Seasalt cottage with friends and would highly recommend. The cottage was clean, comfortable and a real home from home. Many of the rooms were double aspect so it was such a light and airy cottage. The only negative for us was that their were 2 x 2 seater sofas in the lounge so only comfortably seated 4 people so 2 of us sat on dining chairs when were we back in the evenings. The cottage is in a great location with easy access to the amenities on The Bay and close to Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington so ideal for visiting the East Coast.

Clean,comfortable & lots of extras (air fryer, coffee machine,washer ,dishwasher & extra fridge) new outdoor furniture which came in handy as we had good weather. Plenty of space & comfortable beds. In a good position in the village.

We really enjoyed staying at Monty’s Maison. The house is in a great location, a minutes walk to the shop/pub/leisure centre. The house is well decorated and very comfortable, although it is pet friendly there was no trace of dog smells/hairs. We went to the beach every evening and ate in the pub. We all enjoyed the break and would go back. Only issue it’s a little pricey but it is a high quality property so worth it, particularly if you get good weather.
Was as expected after staying here before, all good, plenty of crockery and oven dishes etc, the only downside was the new outside table and chairs. This set is huge- took up almost all the decking space with a table and chairs, was far too heavy to even shift slightly - searched for table tennis bats it was that big. It spoiled it as we were not able to make full use of the outside deck in comfort
My son and his family live in Leeds and have booked this accommodation before. My husband and I live in South Wales so we booked this on his recommendation so we could have a family holiday without them having to drive too far. The house was very comfy and well equipped for a self catering stay although we only used the microwave, 1 hob and the toaster. We used the swimming pool which was good and not too busy. Baywatch was a beautiful house with a homely feel in a fantastic location overlooking the beach .A few minor things let it down ..cobwebs in most rooms indicating it had not had a thorough clean ..no safety glove to use when operating log burner ..no oven gloves , no tea towel and no welcome pack although there was one in Baybreak .Would definitely book again though
Lovely stay in Bayside Cottage , extremely clean with good quality fixtures and fittings . Good to have off-road parking and an easy walk to the facilities. Enjoyed a swim in the pool and used the bar for food and drinks. Would recommend and would certainly stay again .
A superb and relaxing stay to recharge our batteries. We felt at home as soon as we’d unpacked and put the kettle on. The house is very comfortable and welcoming with some lovely touches. The onsite facilities were great for families. We used the pub and the pool. We did the twilight swim for adults which was really lovely. We walked along the beach to Humnamby Gap and had trips out to Filey, Bridlington and Flamborough Head so the Bay is a great base Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and we’ll definitely be back ❤️

We had a lovely stay at the lighthouse and would come back, the location in the centre of the village and met all our needs. The only negative I would add is on leaving we were requested to make sure all crockery cutlery were clean and put away as we would expect, however, when we arrived we found the grill pan, a baking sheet and some cutlery was still dirty, we washed these items before use and again after, perhaps the cleaners just missed these but I would ask that a quick check would be helpful. On the whole we had a lovely time at the Bay and would return especially to the Lighthouse.
We have just returned from staying at Maris Cottage We stayed Monday-Friday and had a lovely time! The Cottage is lovely Clean Comfortable! We took our elderly parents who can’t climb stairs! But there’s a double downstairs bedroom with a toilet and sink across from the bedroom so no problem for them. The seating outside is new and we had lovely weather so used it a lot ! Beautiful location. Lovely house very well thought out with everything you could need. A very enjoyable stay. The only niggles were the mattress protectors were stained. Also there was grease in the bottom of the oven so didn’t use it. Other than that all was great.
We had a perfect stay at Walker’s Way. The accommodation had everything we needed. The kitchen was fantastic with plenty of crockery. The TV was a perfect size and the living area was very comfortable. We have stayed at The Bay about 5 times now and this was by far the best accommodation that we have stayed in.
We stayed 4 nights in Britannia House with family and grandchildren. The downstairs open plan layout was perfect, kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Bedrooms were great for our needs. Location very handy just a few minutes walk to the pool, gym, shop arcade and pub. The path to the beach took around 5 minutes which was very convenient. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

We had a brilliant week at Joes Beach House, the location was ideal, they had everything we needed for our 9 month old and 3 year old, when we arrived there was no travel cot but Kenny sorted that within minutes. We will be back :)
We had been planning to visit for years to the Bay and now wish we had visited sooner. A fantastic base and house with no complaints. The unexpected addition of Wii and board games was a bonus and this should be advertised more as it was great family fun. For a long weekend family break we would 100% recommend. Also explore Flamborough Lighthouse and Selwicks Bay - one of the most beautiful places in the UK we have seen.
Lovely cottage and superb location with a pub, swimming pool/gym, chemist and ‘village’ store a short walk away. Access to the beach is also just a 5 minute walk from the cottage. The cottage itself is well furnished and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. We are return visitors to Snowdrop cottage and will definitely be coming back again.
This is the second property I've stayed in at the Bay, and I'd say it was a little tired / grubby compared to the first one. It still had everything we needed for a few days stay though. We didn't use the outdoor table/chairs as they were covered in bird poo but our friends were staying next door so we just sat outside theirs. The high chair was not great - we gave it a wipe down but the straps are disgusting, it really needs replacing (the £15 Ikea ones would probably be a better idea as they're much easier to clean!) Ww enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Some of the crockery in the kitchen was well used, especially dinner plates and could benefit from being replaced.
When we arrived there was no heating, within an hour of reporting it a plumber had come out, electric heaters were provided as it couldn’t be fixed straight away. Very efficient service. Apartment great location near facilities, very clean only downside is sofa bed in lounge really is not comfortable for sleeping on, you could feel the springs through the mattress.
This was our 9th visit to The Bay since 2011 and this property in my opinion is the best all round property we have stayed in. Just a couple of things, no tea pot and the kitchen sink smelt when emptied.

Clean well presented cottage, good location on site, Helpful having parking space at the side of the cottage. Just a couple of suggestions It would have been helpful to have a tidy dry for swimming costumes as no where to hang them. A few more mugs would be good as there were 6 of us we had to keep washing mugs. overall would certainly recommend the cottage.
The accommodation was as described. However, we didn’t discover the problem with wet room until days before arriving. It did not prove a problem to us but it might for some. We used the shower in the shared bathroom. We found the bed low and the mattress soft but those are personal preferences. Everything else was to our liking and we really enjoyed our stay.
Twilight cottage was a great place to stay with everything you need for a comfortable stay in a great location. Everyone friendly with a local pub at the bottom of the road. Swimming pool free with your free pass as well as gym Archery near by and shops inside the complex as well as a Pharmacy which we used to get medication. We stayed here as a family of 4 adults and 3 children the youngest was 18months old, and 2 dogs. A travel cot was provided so we only needed cot bedding which helped with space in the car. We hired the hot tub Monday to Friday which was also great fun for the children when we’d been out for the day The rooms were all comfortable and clean, 2 bathrooms upstairs and a downstairs toilet. Good space indoors and outdoors. Beds clean, good linen, towels good. Parking good. However, general cleanliness lacking, floors dirty and unmapped. Rug under coffee table and dining room , unhoovered and grubby. Dining room table had food remanents and sticky as had coffee table. Felt we left the rental cleaner than we found it.

The lodge is in a great location is provides an excellent relaxing stay. The communication and directions were great. The furniture is comfortable and in good condition. The beds are too soft for our liking but that is a personal choice thing. The lodge did have a number of cob webs in all rooms and the cleaning standard was not brilliant.
Probably one of the best positions on The Bay. Lovely large lounge/kitchen diner. We did find one of the settees very low (for a 78 year old!!). 3 bedrooms. 2 with super sea views. 3rd with 2 x single beds. One of the bedrooms seemed to have a bedframe which you couldn't help stubbing your toes on. Parking was ok, but abit tight. Having said that, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this lovely property.
We always love The Bay at Filey and have stayed previously in other excellent accommodation, this is by far our favourite due to its location on Blue Anchor Road, which has a sleepy exclusive feel to it. Sandy Feet Retreat is superb!! Clean, cosy and comfortable we had the most relaxing 4 days. Everything you could possibly need is available, all in great working order and clean. The property is in need of some attention. There were broken drawers, toilet seat ill fitting etc. The kitchen could also do with some additional crockery, for example, there were 5 of us so wanted to serve rice in a serving bowl on the table but there was nothing bigger than a cereal bowl so we had no option other than to plate everything up in the kitchen. Not ideal for a proper family meal. Although dogs are permitted, it also needs to be made very clear that the ‘patio’ which was an incredibly small area, is not fenced in. This was our first stay at the property since the new owners took over. We were very pleased with the new decor and alterations that had been implemented. The addition of the bunk bed in the second bedroom is perfect for when our granddaughter next joins us as she had outgrown the travel cot. There is everything you require in the property to make for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We've stayed at a few Anchor Bay properties and have noticed that the cleanliness has deteriorated over the last couple of cottages. On this one, there was 3 bags of dog poo left on the back patio, dog biscuits left in a corner from the previous occupants, the oven wanted a deep clean, cups were tea stained. I don't know if it was new staff and not trained properly but it still seems not acceptable. It was a dog friendly cottage but the corner sofa absolutely stunk ( our dog doesn't go on furniture)and we had to buy throws to sit on. 3 stars for cleanliness as there were dogs hairs all over the carpet, tv in the bedroom needs upgrading to smart tv, not much room to manoeuvre in the bedroom as the bed is so big, vacuum hasn't got much suction, other than the issues we really enjoyed our stay, also the weather was lovely.
This wasn't the most comfortable or homely stay I have had at The Bay at Filey. The apartment is very basic and not homely. I would say it is adequate, with basic seating, minimal crockery and dark furnishings, which are a little depressing. It was very clean and tidy. There was no mirror near a socket to use the hairdryer. A strong smell of curry, which after the windows were opened, still stayed unfortunately. There was a lot of flies inside this property.
Sandy Bay hideaway is in a great position, close to the pool, shop, pub and path to the beach, but is still very quite and relaxing. We enjoyed our trip, but sandy bay was visibly run down and just felt a little tired, with what looked like mould on my sons bedroom carpet floor, the bed bases looked old and mould round both shower floors / screens, a lot of paint work scuffed / faded in every room and some of the kitchen equipment / drawers were dirty and / or damaged, as well as the master dressing table which looked horrendous with some yellow staining and marks. The cottage was well equipped, spacious, and suited our purpose for a family of 4 adults. Initial problem with the heating was quickly resolved by the management. The only observation we have is that having 2 dogs, it would have been nice to have a mop so we could mop the floors.
Disappointed with cleanliness in living area and kitchen. Very dusty. Felt like it needed a thorough clean and polish. Would benefit from new place mats and coasters as these were stained. Table was chipped and might look better with a tablecloth. Opening the doors was difficult as the key stuck and the cover kept separating from the base. Used hand towels were still in the property and no bin liners were in any of the bins. Plunger behind bathroom tap not working.
