Lovley location the hotel next door pop in for drink are if you fancy not cooking the breakfast and meals are lovley also Tesco express,fish chip shop chicken takeaway and bakery all in few minutes the cottage was was few minutes walk to beach and bus stop right out side runs every half hr
I was visiting family in the local area and this apartment was a perfect base. It was easy to book and all correspondence was very clear and informative. The apartment is well furnished. It was very clean and very comfortable. There is easy parking and as a female travelling alone I felt very safe. I would recommend the apartment and the bay site in general to anyone looking for accommodation.
Lovely stay the cottage was clean and had everything you needed. Close to the beach Will definitely return.
Really impressed with Bailey’s Beach house. On arrival everything was pristine including all the kitchen appliances, soft furnishings and cleanliness. It is a credit to the owners and cleaning staff. The position on The Bay is good, near to facilities and no problem parking at the rear of the property. Can’t wait to return in the near future.
Had another great stay at the Bay. The grandkids love it there and always request that we go back. Have stayed at different properties through anchor bay and all have been great - very friendly and helpful people to deal with too. We will no doubt be back soon!

Can’t believe that this is a holiday rental. It is the best one we have stayed in the decor and fittings from furniture to beds kitchen appliances three toilets two bathrooms you would not get better accommodation in a four star hotel there wasn’t anything that the owner hadn’t thought about. Outside the hot tub was clean the garden lovely nice seating with umbrella for hot days a bar be cue for disposables there wasn’t one thing I could find fault with and I just hope that people will treat this property with respect as you won’t find a better one anywhere. Situated in a very nice, peaceful location this delightful cottage had "welcome " from the moment we arrived. Beautifully decorated. The team could not have been more helpful in helping me to arrange a getaway for a large group . They accommodated my requests and kept me informed about arrival and what to expect. The accommodation was immaculate. A fabulous house and two beach houses that accommodated us all. Wonderful space outside for us to eat and for the children to play. Everything was spotless. Our first time booking through Anchor Bay Holidays and really impressed. Apartment Laguz was on the top floor. Spacious, comfortable, good views. Great features - double oven/microwave, fridge, TV in lounge and main bedroom, lovely bathroom. Pet-free which is important for us. Super location for seafront/amusements as well as for town, and walks (we walked up to the North Bay and around by the castle, also along Marine Drive to Sealife Centre and Peasholm Park). Dudley's Retreat is a wonderful apartment on The Bay. We have stayed in a number of properties there and this is by far our favourite. Check in and pre-information was clear and concise. The attention to detail is excellent with all the cooking equipment you could need. It was super clean when we arrived and everything you need to keep it that way is in the apartment. All linen and bedding was great quality and the wifi is also excellent if anyone needed to work. This has genuinely been really well thought out for their guests and is a credit to the owners. We had another absolutely wonderful stay at this weekend holiday home and can’t recommend it highly enough. This was our second visit and it was just as fantastic as the first. The house was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable break. The location is perfect for a peaceful getaway, and the attention to detail throughout the property really makes it feel like a home away from home. We have been coming to the bay for 8 years now , sometimes multiple times , and this cottage is our favourite by far . Lovely decor , spacious and a lovely Private garden area .
Very comfortable accommodation thoughtfully furnished, fully equipped clean and welcoming. Taken photos to recommend to friends. Quiet in June 5minutes from Filey. Good value. We'll come again.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Puffin Pad. Clean, well equipped, very friendly owners, we felt we coukd contact them if necessary. Our only grumble was 2 family members rented houses on The Bay that were only very slightly more expensive than the flat but that wouldn't put us off renting it again. Many thanks for a great stay.
A lovely cottage , very clean. Home from home . This was our second visit with my young grandchildren. The addition of the swimming pool was a bonus.
We had a fab week away when we stayed at ‘Anchor at the bay’. The cottage was gorgeous and had everything you could ever need. The patio doors opened onto a lovely grassed area for quickly letting the dog onto but 5 minutes round the corner was the wildflower meadow and the lake that we walked round too. Beach access was great. We also did archery which was great fun even though it got a bit competitive . Highly recommend Anthony and Anchor Bay Holidays
Lovely house home from home. Nice to have fans in all the bedrooms. TV in all bedrooms. Lovely decorations with some home touches. Just a lovely area with beach access. Full use of pool, gym sauna. Would love to go again.
Ideal place to stay at the bay. Close to the shop and beach path. Was worried about staying in an apartment but barely heard any noise from other guests. Clean and comfortable
Only point I would make was the WiFi was poor so the TV kept freezing. Everything else about the apartment was fine.
The property is clean and well laid out alwith a nice courtyard feel to the rear garden. We would very much go back again.
Lovely place to stay very clean good accommodation very quiet everything you need and parking just off from our stay all well lit and clean a shop on site which is well stocked and some lovely areas to walk around only thing I think lets it down is the on sight bar very expensive and food not very good given it’s central position it should pull in people we have booked for September too so looking forward to coming back to Filey lovely place

Comfortable and clean Lodge. Having stayed at lodges before, it was wonderful to find to two tall lamps in the living room area. Two of us craft in an evening, so this was perfect. We made good use of the ceiling fan during the heatwave, it really helped to cool us all down. Nice to have some empty cupboards in the kitchen, as I bring some food with me due to having coeliac disease, it made a change being able to put it away. Amazing lodge with plenty of room for two of us with two dogs. The lodge contains everything you need and more. Customer service with anchor bay holidays is always first class. We booked this again straight away and can’t wait to come back

Gingerbread cottage was a lovely cottage it had everything you needed. However the bay was rather lacking in things for the children to do. For the size of the place the play park was disappointing. The children loved the swimming pool but apart from that there was nothing for them to do. I found it very tired and in need of some upgrading. It felt more like a retirement village than a holiday park.
Very good quiet location near to all the amenities and a short walk to the beach. My wife and I have stayed at the Bay numerous tjavascript:;imes at various houses, and this location was one if the best.
We have stayed at Nantucket cottage a number of times previously and this time it was just as good if not better! New air fryer was very useful, lots of hooks on back of doors and a light in the walk in wardrobe have all been added and made it even more comfortable and convenient. The cottage has been regularly maintained and appears to have had a recent fresh coat of paint. The bed is very comfortable. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. I booked this for my elderly aunt and uncle who were struggling to find somewhere to stay. It was exactly what they needed and more. They loved the gadgets but would have loved a guide book on how to use the oven, microwave and Ninja kettle. My uncle couldn’t sit on the sofa as it was too low for him so he had to sit in a hard backed chair. He is 86. They also found some damage on the inside of the wardrobe when they were packing up to go but no record of it , so they recorded it in a book anyway. But they had a lovely few days with us for my dad’s memorial.
Lovely cottage, spotless & equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Great location in the village with outside seating on both sides of the cottage so we could always sit outside in the sun! Just a short walk to Filey beach & we used the swimming pool on site every day. We would definitely return & stay here again.
Excellent stay at Bliss on the Bay. Good location. Property clean & comfortable. We were concerned that it maybe a little noisy when we entered the hallway, from other resident properties , but no it was very quiet. There is ample parking near the property. We didn't use the eating places so can't comment on those, but my husband did use the pool & said it was a decent size & very clean. Would definately return.

We had a great stay at oyster cottage. The bay Filey is a great place - close to beach in a beautiful location. We had stayed in another cottage previously. Loved the massive windows in the bedrooms and the house lay out was fab. Location was ok, but as the site has been expanded it doesn’t have the view it would have had previously. Plenty of parking. Was disappointed it didn’t have an outside bbq facility - but we had friends staying on another cottage who did. 6 of us stayed for 3 nights and found it to be a fantastic house, very comfortable indeed. In a lovely quiet location with parking. Only 2 small niggles, wifi was intermittent to smart tv & lack of a bin in upstairs house bathroom. We had a great time, I would recommend Dragonfly.
We have stayed at Honeybee Cottage before and at the Bay several times so the children feel at home immediately. The cottage is ideally placed and is well stocked with everything you need for a great break.
The property is very clean (although the oven could do with a good scrub) comfortable, well equipped and ideally situated. A short but steep walk to the beach, a short drive to a decent sized supermarket in Filey, and only 10 miles from Bridlington. I'd recommend a visit to Sewerby Hall and Bondville Model Village which are next door to each other on the outskirts of Bridlington. My only slight niggle is being provided with white towels but being told that they are not to be used to remove make up. Stayed at The Bay quite a few times with family and friends. Always been a great stay. Accommodation was superb as always. Everything is thought through and nothing is left to chance. The decor and soft furnishings are always immaculate and tasteful. Bedding and towels are quality. The whole site is upmarket and well looked after. Whether you’re off exploring and like the direct access to the beach or staying onsite to BBQ you really won’t be disappointed. There’s also quality outdoor furniture too. My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Shell Cottage with our little dog. We have visited the Bay a few times now and find it so quiet and relaxing. Shell Cottage was in a lovely position to get the sunshine in the morning while eating breakfast then again after a day out coming back and relaxing on the comfortable sofa with a cuppa feet up soaking up the sun through the front window, I was in my element. Fabulous stay at badgers retreat, made even better by the amazing weather . Lovely lodge with perfect decking area in the sun most of the day , just perfect Would of been nice to have a few simple things provided ( that seem common place in most other self catering accommodation) spare loo roll , some kitchen paper, a spare pedal bin bag and maybe some foil to help keep the grill clean whilst cooking breakfast . We stayed here last year and loved it so we booked again this time it was out of school holidays so it was quieter .We love getting up in the morning and looking over the lake we even had some ducklings pop by for a visit .The site itself is always kept clean people friendly with two dogs you do worry about taking them in places but the john paul jones pub was welcoming so we could relax . It's not far to walk to beach maybe steep coming back but good exercise loved our stay
It was the first time that we have stayed at this apartment at the Bay the accommodation had everything we needed and it is a nice complex the only issue that we had was being upstairs with our dog it would have been better to have been on the ground floor but overall we couldn't fault it
Property was very comfortable and well equipped with patio doors onto the terrace which was great in the the nice weather. The Bay is a short walk from a sweeping beach which is ideal for walking into Filey. Good communication with owner and clear instructions received in advance.
We've stayed in many cottages at the bay over the last 5 years and are never disappointed. Home from home quality. I wrote a couple of repairs needed in the comments book only to help the next person to have a comfortable stay.

We have stayed on The Bay several times but this has to be the best yet.The cottage was excellent and well presented.The owners have clearly spent a lot of time and effort decorating the property to such a high standard as everything matched. We enjoyed the feature fireplace and the bedroom fitted wardrobe. Everything you could possibly need was provided and the cul de sac was quiet with parking outside which made life easier.Thank you Anthony and your Team we look forward to our next stay. We stayed in this lovely cottage for four nights. It was in an excellent location, it was clean and there was everything in it that you may need. It had its own parking in front of the property, which was important to us. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting a break.
Really enjoyed our stay at Walker’s Way. Clean, spacious property with everything you need. Close to the amenities but not so they disturb you and right next to the gate to walk down to the coast. Outside furniture could do with a little TLC but otherwise can’t fault.

This is my second stay at The Bay, the first being a house accommodation so I was apprehensive about an apartment set up, it was revealed to be very spacious and lovely everything being on one level with my 5 year old grandson in tow. The apartment is furnished and fitted with high standard quality items and the owners should be very proud with the newly refurbished Paws And Relax, it’s beautiful ! A lovely beach house in a good position. Be careful of the walk-in shower in the main en-suite, even after a very quick shower it floods the bathroom - the water gets worryingly close to the bedroom carpet! We ended up not using it again for fear of flooding the bedroom and used the much smaller shower in the 2nd bedroom. The main king-size bed is very low down and also has a very soft mattress. Kibble tree is a lovely little cottage not too far from sewerby. Very peaceful and with everything you need for a stay.
We had been planning to visit for years to the Bay and now wish we had visited sooner. A fantastic base and house with no complaints. The unexpected addition of Wii and board games was a bonus and this should be advertised more as it was great family fun. For a long weekend family break we would 100% recommend. Also explore Flamborough Lighthouse and Selwicks Bay - one of the most beautiful places in the UK we have seen.
Lovely cottage and superb location with a pub, swimming pool/gym, chemist and ‘village’ store a short walk away. Access to the beach is also just a 5 minute walk from the cottage. The cottage itself is well furnished and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. We are return visitors to Snowdrop cottage and will definitely be coming back again.
We had a good week at Maris Cottage, it was our second stay on The Bay and with Anchor bay holidays. The location was great for us, though it is a bit of a walk to the beach from this particular property. It is close to walks around the wildflower meadows and lodges which was good for the dogs. Easy Bay cottage is an excellent place comfy beds beautifully decorated all crockery and cutlery for 8 people and more .Ideally situated. Very light and airy with lots of space.we were there form Friday to Monday as a multi generation family fun was had by all.would highly recommend
Had a wonderful few days away in beautiful Filey - to escape the blistering heat ! Lake and Tide lodge was perfect for me , my husband and our 2 dogs- 2 lovely bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and lovely open plan living area with bi- gild doors out onto the decking which overlooks the lake. We enjoyed watching the wildlife every day as we sat and sipped a cool glass of something in the sun outside. The lodge is in a great spot with grassland / lovely open space for walking right next to it - perfect for our dog walks early morning and late at night. Stayed for four nights at Daisy cottage the Bay Filey. What a superb little cottage. Well equipped (mostly) and decorated. A lovely place on a nice site. Great communication initially with plenty or updates and reminders via email and text right up to the day we arrived and plenty afterwards. My grudge however is we arrived on Wednesday and had no intentions of cooking as you’re not allowed in until 5pm (unless you pay extra for an earlier time) and then we had to go shopping. The property is in a great location with sea view and balcony which made it extra special. There is a lovely large grass area behind the property and also only a short walk to the pub/shop and beach access. There was ample seating inside the property in the lounge and dining area and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed including a washer dryer and dishwasher. Booked this apartment on recommendation it was a downstairs for my husband who struggles with mobility & that it was pet free due to allergies. We also booked because we enjoy a swim while we are on holiday however the swimming pool was closed during most of the time we stayed here. We were offered a swim paid for in alternative places however its a little inconvenient having a 40 minuet round trip rather than just down the road. Cottage was perfect for a short break as a family with the dog. Great location, so close to the beach and a clifftop walk. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a few nights away. Good to be able to use the pool too.
This is a lovely cottage , but, unfortunately we didn't sleep well at all. The beds were so uncomfortable. The worst mattress we have ever slept on Rock hard. Double bed and single beds too. We all didn't sleep well, which is a real shame and it spoiled our stay. Sofas are nice but way too low down on the floor struggled getting up off it . This reflects in 1 star for comfort . No sleep and an uncomfortable sofa let's this lovely cottage down .

Disappointed with cleanliness in living area and kitchen. Very dusty. Felt like it needed a thorough clean and polish. Would benefit from new place mats and coasters as these were stained. Table was chipped and might look better with a tablecloth. Opening the doors was difficult as the key stuck and the cover kept separating from the base. Used hand towels were still in the property and no bin liners were in any of the bins. Plunger behind bathroom tap not working.
