East Bay cottage was large & comfortable. Would definitely return. Nice park, great position & good walk to the clean beach. Felt safe. There is a swimming pool (water was a bit too cold) pub & shop on site. Not far from Scarborough & other places to visit

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this cottage. Fabulous location close to everything. The cottage itself has everything you could wish for and ideal for us as it has a downstairs bedroom and toilet that my elderly father could use without having to go upstairs. Customer service excellent and I would highly recommend staying here. Will definitely be back at some point. Thank you

Cottage could have been cleaner. Cobwebs in corners of bedrooms. We knew there was a problem with Dishwasher but someone had left a weeks worth of pots in it! Our Hand towel had a hole in it. Some of the cups in the cupboard need a good soak. Generally we enjoyed our stay and if they could get on top of the cleaning we would go back. A point of safety,a step outside the patio door is needed as the drop is quite high.

everything was fine from deposit to departing we will use again.even a minor problem our fault (we lost key safe details) was corrected by a simple phone call to host which resolved issue instantly. thanks again to host.

Just back from a lovely few days at East Bay Cottage. The house itself was very clean and really well equipped.
Wifi worked great and it was nice to be able to use Netflix etc for the kids.
All in all a great stay, would definitely stay here again.

We’ve been to the bay Filey on numerous occasions, and have enjoyed each stay. East bay cottage was the biggest property we have stayed in and it didn’t disappoint. Very clean, comfortable and lots of space. Anthony @ anchor bay holidays was great communication spot on and went out of his way to help us with our accommodation which was for 5 adults and a small dog. No hesitation we will be back ! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Lovely spacious cottage. Good quality furnishings. Needs an outdoor step and comfortable patio furniture., and a gate to put across patio doors.

Hi - The Bay Filey are installing a step to the patio as a matter of urgency - this is outside our control but it will be done. Our 3 generation family stayed in this property and had a fabulous long weekend with all the comforts of home. Plenty of games for the kids who also made friends easily because of the communal space at the rear of the property.

We have stayed on the Bay previously and love the location and the facilities available. There were 6 adults, 2 young children and a dog in our group. East Bay Cottage was plenty big enough for us all and lacked none of the home comforts we needed. Approx 5 minute walk to leisure centre in middle of the Bay and a further 5 mins or so to the beautiful Filey beach.
Our only criticism (and this is purely down to personal preference) was the lack of a king size bed in any of the rooms - just one would have been nice…..this would not stop us returning but is worth knowing.
All in all though we had a fantastic time in a lovely property.

Im so pleased to hear you had a good trip. We put a new bed in recently and dithered over a King or double but in the end decided a double gave more space to move around in. We appreciate your comments and will give consideration next time we replace a bed. Thank you and I hope you will come back and stay again in the future

On the whole a great stay. One or two little issues.
Instructions for the appliances might have been helpful, although we worked it out.
Car parking was not so close to the property, so arriving in pouring rain was a little tricky.
Some of the beds in the property did not have mattress or pillow protectors, and the king size mattress was badly stained which was unpleasant.

Hello Caroline, I am really sorry to hear that the instructions for appliances have disappeared but glad you were able to work things out. I am very disappointed to hear about the mattress, which is fairly new. The matter has been raised with the cleaners, who should have replaced the mattress protector, and today the bed has been steamed cleaned and the mattress protector replaced. Apologies that this happened but I hope you managed to have an enjoyable break and will hopefully one day make a return visit to east Bay Cottage, warm regards, Christine

Had the most amazing time at the Bay last weekend. Great house. Added bonus if great weather. Went swimming twice. Anthony from Anchor was great all the way along. Very helpful and approachable. No negatives whatsoever. Will definitely be booking again. Thank you x

Lovely house which was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed for our weekend. The downstairs bedroom was a bonus as we had four generations of the family staying and this was ideal for my elderly parents. We catered for ourselves and also ate out at the on-site pub. The beach is very handy for walking into Filey (about an hour) but the access is very steep. Overall, a very enjoyable weekend and we will be back.
