Had a wonderful few days away in beautiful Filey - to escape the blistering heat ! Lake and Tide lodge was perfect for me , my husband and our 2 dogs- 2 lovely bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and lovely open plan living area with bi- gild doors out onto the decking which overlooks the lake. We enjoyed watching the wildlife every day as we sat and sipped a cool glass of something in the sun outside.
The lodge is in a great spot with grassland / lovely open space for walking right next to it - perfect for our dog walks early morning and late at night.
The lodge had everything we needed and was a little haven ! Would definitely recommend.

A well stocked lodge in a lovely setting helped us to enjoy our stay. A problem with the cleaning when we first arrived was dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner. Communication was good and we would definitely recommend staying here.

Quiet location on site. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Main bed was very soft. Was disappointed that there were NO provisions on arrival. One dishwasher tablet for example to save us shopping on arrival no hand wash, no washing up liquid no sponge for washing up, no salt and pepper or oil. 2 light bulbs need replacing one in hall way one in main bathroom. We did enjoy our stay once had stocked up on basics!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are disappointed you marked us down so much for the minor issues you encountered. We did send you a full guidebook which clearly states that if there is no welcome pack when you arrive please call us and we would have brought one round immediately - you didnt call. In addition it does outline that for allergy reasons we dont provide food stuffs and soap - we hope you understand. If you stay with us again please call us and we will remedy it with our onsite staff rather than let us know via a review when you have checked out as we strive to make your holiday as welcoming as possible.

We have stayed at The Bay before 3 years ago in a detached house which was lovely but decided to book a lodge this time. Used Anchor Bay Holidays again and couldn’t fault the communication or the Lodge itself. Really well appointed overlooking the lake and close to all amenities. Honestly a great spot right on the beach which was just ideal. Had a really good stay and will be back and won’t leave it so long next time!
