We stayed here as a family of 4 adults and 3 children the youngest was 18months old, and 2 dogs. A travel cot was provided so we only needed cot bedding which helped with space in the car.
We hired the hot tub Monday to Friday which was also great fun for the children when we’d been out for the day
The rooms were all comfortable and clean, 2 bathrooms upstairs and a downstairs toilet. The kitchen was really well equipped there was everything you could ever need.
Weather was great so we didn’t need the heating on but the hot water was really hot.
It was a great place to stay for getting around, our daughter took the girls to Flamingo Land and it was only around 30 minutes away, Whitby, Scarborough.Filey, Cayton Bay and lots of other places easy to get to. In the village there is a little chip shop, only open 3 days but it is truly amazing, a drive up the main road takes you to a great size supermarket that does breakfast and snacks and sandwiches etc
A really great place and the company Anchor Bay Holidays give you much help and advice there is nothing they don’t know, we had a slight problem with the hot tub on the first day and within 30 minutes someone arrived and it was sorted. Would definitely use again if we were coming with the family

Lovely holiday property sadly location not suitable but very much enjoyed our stay we love visiting this coast and mostly stay at The Bay as we love walking on beech to Filey

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay; mainly because of the facilities; Cayton Bay; fabulous pub in walking distance (the Farrier) and Playdale Farm a short drive away
