We stayed Monday to Friday. This is an ideal base for days out or relaxing. The lodge is spacious and we appreciated having our own bedrooms and bathrooms.

We have been to The Bay many many times but this is the first time on the Meadows. Bella's Retreat was perfect in all the usual ways but also because the outside area was totally enclosed it was safe to let my two year old grandson and my daughter's little dog have complete freedom to come and go as the wanted. I'm not aware of another property at The Bay with this luxury. We will definitely stay here again.

Totally unrelated to the property itself what's on earth is happening with the road on The Meadows. If the property wasn't as good as it is then I would never contemplate staying on The Meadows again. It's a total disgrace to the management company. Either it's so dusty you have dust everywhere including in your lungs or when it's wet you're totally unable to get rid of the claggy clay type substance on your shoes, pushchair, wheelchair, dogs paws etc.
