We had a repeat visit to the Bay although in a new property to us and we had another great break - went with the grandchildren and they love it! The whole village is very well maintained and so are the properties and this one was no exception - very clean and cosy with everything you could want. - We will be back!

Booked last minute & as usual booking was easy,quick,efficient. Lovely cottage, clean,well equipped,comfortable, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at this property with our family with young children. The location was perfect for a short stay with easy access to the beach with a pushchair .
The property was comfortable, well equipped, clean, and the communication before and during our stay was perfect. Thank you

We recently stayed at Honeybee Cottage and had a brilliant time. The location is brilliant for trips to Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Flamingo Land. The house has everything you could ask for and more. We visited the onsite pub and swimming pool and both were enjoyable. The distance to the beach is great to enjoy full days or an evening stroll.
The only suggestion I have would be to clear space in the kitchen for non essential items as we had no space in the cupboards to store food. We are a large family, so did a full shop prior to arrival, but storage was extremely limited.

The bay and honey bee cottage were an ideal Family break. the facilities and access to the beach were Great.

Honeybee cottage was very welcoming. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you needed to prepare meals from scratch, which we did. The beds were comfy as were the couches in the lounge - which is often not the case in holiday rentals. There is a lovely beach and activities on site for children too. All in all a perfect break.

This was our first time at Filey and it did not disappoint! It was absolutely beautiful, didn’t want to go home! House was clean and perfect for what we needed! Definitely planning on returning!

The Bay is a excellent location for a short break and this house is right in the centre and a easy short walk to all facilities and access to the beach.
Nice house with everything you need and dealing with Anchor is always so easy.
The only negative is the small room housing a bunk bed, we had two 10 year olds in there and they found it cramped and uncomfortable. I feel that this room would be better back as a single.

Beautiful home that has all modern comforts and conveniences. Check-in/out is incredibly straight forward, house is easy to maintain. Walking distance from a breath taking beach that is great fun for children and exploring, especially when the tide is out. The facilities on site are very good and really well run. Despite not having the best weather during our stay, we were well able to keep ourselves busy between swimming pool, classes and offsite excursions (location is near to a lot of wonderful places to visit).

We enjoyed our stay , everything we needed was provided .
We did find the room with the bunk beds very small and adults could hardly get through without touching the walls which will take its toll on the decoration , I ended up sleeping in the bottom bunk and I have got to say i found it a bit uncomfortable as I could feel the springs in the mattress.
I thought that a full length mirror would be a useful addition even if it was just one in the hallway .
Overall we enjoyed our stay , thank you.

We love staying at Anchor Bay in Filey, we return every year staying at different cottages.
Honeybee Cottage was a delightful cottage very spacious with all the comforts of home. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our evening meals and all was very clean. We always look for a comfortable looking sofa in the lounge and we were not disappointed with loads of cushions for that extra comfort. The bed was also comfortable and we had a week of restful sleep. There was parking outside the cottage and seating area around the back to sit in the sun in the evening.
A most enjoyable break away from the usual routine. Thank you. Our next years break is already booked.....

We had a pleasant stay at Honeybee Cottage.
The cottage was clean and the very close to the on site facilities so ideal for the children.
I would suggest a couple of improvements to be made as we have stayed in other accommodation that is slightly more superior in quality, The sofas are 'tired' and need replacing, as well as the furniture in the second bedroom.
On the whole though we were happy with the cottage and a couple of issues which needed rectifying were quickly and efficiently dealt with by Anthony from the ABH company.
I would recommend to stay at this property due to the size, location and price that we paid. It was very reasonable.
I would be more than happy to pay more if some cosmetic and new furniture is purchased, to make Honeybee an incredible place to stay.

My family had a lovely stay at HoneyBee Cottage over the Easter bank holiday. It’s a great location to explore the Yorkshire Coast. The property was clean and well equipped with comfortable beds. We didn’t end up using any of the on-site facilities just due to our time going so quickly, however I can say it was a a very clean and quiet site. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and stay at HoneyBee Cottage.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, this was the first time using anchor bay holidays for our booking, having always booked direct with The Bay on previous visits. I wouldn’t hesitate to use and book through them again. In comparison to the other properties we have stayed in previously this cottage just had the added extra little touches to make it feel like home. Everything had been thought of and there were finishing touches in each room. Clean, tidy and well maintained cottage in a fabulous location just a short stroll from the facilities on the bay. Would highly recommend.
