Newts Place was a very clean and comfortable place to stay. Well equipped and just across the street from the Pub, cafe, shop and amenities. Bit of a walk to the buses to Bridlington, Filey or Scarborough, I have mobility issues, but you could leave the car up near the entrance which we did. Not far to walk to the beach either. We enjoyed our stay there and will look to go back at some point.I

Our only gripe was there was a lot of flies and could have done with a fly swat, had to get fly spray but was useless, dont know if it was us, as we did sit outside with patio doors open. Lady in shop said there was a lot of flies around which was normal! We live in the countryside and have never seen so many.
Otherwise we enjoyed our stay there.

On the fly subject - at the time you stayed local agriculture in the area had caused a LOT of flies on the East Coast - we are not allowed to leave fly paper and spray but we would have reimbursed you for these if you had let us know.

The cottage is a lovely two bedroom property, convenient for all of the local coastal areas you would want to visit. It is well furnished and the owners' provide everything you could need: fridge, washing machine dishwasher, decent Wi-Fi and a smart TV.

The only VERY small gripe is the lack of kitchen storage. There are plenty of cupboards which are filled with everything you could need for a self-catering holiday. However, there was little space left for groceries like cereals, tins, etc. This is really very minor and the only negative. It could be said that it's not worth even mentioning as the owners have tried to meet all needs but got a little carried away. ;-)

Would I stay here again? Absolutely.

Well equipped comfortable warm cottage. Great location for all amenities. The only downside, that we found really annoying, was that everyone walking past looked in the front window. Blinds would be a great asset. Cottage really clean except for downstairs windows which had children’s handprints all over hence giving it a 4 rating. Sorry to sound negative as these were only little niggles which did not affect the enjoyment of our holiday.

The house was lovely and comfortable. Very clean and excellent location. Handy for the pub nearby. Would recommend.

We stayed for a week and had a great time. The property was clean, well appointed and in a nice location. We'd stayed at The Bay before, but this is the first time we've booked with Anchor Bay Holidays and would definitely do so again. The level of communication in the build up to the holiday and during the stay was fantastic.

For us a family of 4 (soon to be 5), the house was great for us. Plenty of room and child friendly.
The location was brilliant, as right next door to all the leisure facilities and the pub, as well as a fairly close to the end near to the beach.
We will definitely look to book again at some point in the future!

This property is in a very good location at The Bay, being af the heart of the village. Beds were comfortable and I liked that there were enough small tables in the lounge so everyone had somewhere to put their drink when watching the large TV. Good value for money and I would stay again.

First time at this particular property. Central location near to pool and pub. Having said that no problems with noise. Rear of property had small patio with seating. Safe for grandchildren. No problems. Grandchildren all happy!!

We truly enjoyed our stay at 27 Sunrise Drive. We have stayed several times in the past and found everything was to our needs and satisfaction.
The house is comfortable, cosy, spotlessly clean and you are surrounded by all amenities. I cannot find one negative with this accommodation.
Anthony was there to help when we needed him and our little problem was resolved straight away.
Thanks for a wonderful few days. We will be back!

The property is clean and well equipped with everything you could need for a holiday and we enjoyed our short break. The cottage is ideally located close to the pub, cafe and pool. I would say the only downside was the fact that due to the central location a lot of people walked past the property and stared in the front bay window which I found annoying. I would suggest perhaps blinds would help - but perhaps it’s just me.

Newt's place is an ideal location, its near the beach, swimming pool and pub. We love to walk into Filey on the beach, the only problem is the steep hill from the beach back to the site but there are a few benches to stop and look at the views.

Scarborough and Bridlington are not too far away.
