Fantastic stay at Spoonbill cottage. The only thing negative I would say is that I received far far too many emails and text messages about it. I counted 19 text messages up to the holiday, 3 max would be sufficient. So many duplicates and such a waste of time and energy.

Thank you for your review and we are glad you had a good time. Im sorry you felt there were too many messages BUT this is not of our making. You will recall that YOU changed the dates of your holiday and I did advise that the system will ensure you get the information for the original and the revised dates and you agreed to this. Secondly we moved to our new interactive guidebook which has had really good feedback from all other guests and this may have given the impression of duplication but they messages were bespoke to your holiday. Lastly we had a water leak near your property and as a courtesy we text you to warn you about this and when it was resolved. If you would rather we hadn't done this and you were out of water without warning we could have done that but all other guests were grateful for the warning and communication. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Had a brilliant 3 night stay in January. The house is well equipped with everything we needed. Clean and tidy. Beds were very comfortable. Great location! Already looking to return!

We love the bay and spoonbill did not disappoint for new year. Clean and equipped with everything you need. Just 2 minors, the front door needs lifting it was hard to shut and the bath wouldn't run hot... shower was banging hot anytime of day so no major spoiler x

This was second visit to the bat with anchor. We needed to take a break from medical appointments for a while .
Anthony was great again .nothing was too much trouble so we will come back again

This is a lovely comfortable holiday home. Ideally situated on the Bay development for all the amenities and a short walk to the beautiful beach of Filey.
The cottage is equipped with all the necessary basics plus a washing machine and dishwasher. Free WIFI available. Plenty of towels and the beds very comfortable.
A useful file with information about the Bay and surrounding areas is also available.

We had a very comfortable stay at Spoonbill cottage, it was very local to the amenities and only a short ride into Filey,
A long walk if you are a senior citizen to the beach (hilly) but worth it lovely walk into Filey.They have activities for adults and
Children .

When we first arrived at Spoonbill cottage we were delighted with the peace and quiet of the Holiday Park and the cleanliness. No chip papers or other rubbish blowing about in the wind!
The cottage itself was clean, airy and extremely well equipped.
We were very impressed with the location of the cottage just a few minutes walk to the pub, shop and beach access.
You can walk down the ramp to the beach but it's a steep climb back up though.
Anyway we will certainly visit again next year.
