This was a great find for a last minute couple of days by the sea. Cottage exceeded expectations, spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped. Communication from the host was above and beyond. The resort itself has a really nice ‘high end’ feel to it, had a genuine village feel to it. About an hour at low tide walk over to Filey.

Our stay at wren cottage was perfect for us. The place was warm and cosy and had all the equipment we needed. Could not fault the property and would stay here again.

Our second time at The Bay in Filey. This house was very clean, comfortable and warm - especially important as there was snow and ice around! The living areas were smart and easy to keep clean. There is a very nice en-suite as well as a family bathroom and a comfortable king size bed.
Our dog enjoyed herself too, wandering outside the back door. The location is very quiet being away from the main road into the park. Also close to the great indoor swimming pool and only a few minutes walk to the excellent beach. Highly recommended and we will return!

We've been to Filey cove bay 4 or 5 times over the years and really enjoyed ourselves but found this to be our best so far.

When cottage was fantastic. It had everything you could ask,the location was spot on and private. Room great size, kitchen great

We will be back at some point.

Wrens cottage provided everything we needed for us and our little pooch Alfie. The cottage was lovely and the location was very quiet which suited us right down to the ground. The beach was great although the steep slope down was daunting at first you quickly got used to it. Food and drinks at the on site pub were expensive so to be honest we never frequented it instead taking a short drive into Hunmanby village for a couple of takeaways and The Royal Oak pub ( just 2min down the road by car ) for a couple of drinks. Massive thumbs up to Anthony at Anchor Bay Holidays who responded quickly to a minor issue we had with the heating but he sorted that out super quick.

This was our second stay at Wren cottage and it was just as lovely as the first time. The cottage itself is a spacious, relaxing, modern and bright space. It was lovely and clean, and really comfortable. The outdoor area was nice and private for sitting out with my morning cuppa and the site as a whole was ideal for our kids (12 and 14) to have a bit of freedom and a ride round on their bikes when we were ready for a sit down and they weren’t!! We didn’t use the facilities on the Bay this time as the weather was nice and we were out and about but an amenities pass was hung in the hallway if we’d have wanted to. All in all - a perfect base for enjoying the coast. Hope to stay again soon x

Wren Cottage really felt like home. As soon as we stepped through the door we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. The cottage was well equipped with all the home comforts. The beds were super comfy and we all slept like babies. The kids were very excited about the body boards and beach toys which they used all week, this was a nice touch. We would and have recommended wren cottage and the bay resort and would definitely stay again. The only down side is we live 4/5 hours away! Thank you wren cottage and Anthony who was always informing us on our stay through text and email.

What a beautiful detached cottage we chose this time. We stayed at The Bay in June and loved it that much we came back 4 weeks later. Wren cottage was perfect for both of us and our little dog.
Lovely peaceful location for us to be able to unwind. The cottage has everything you need, comfortable furniture and lovely decorated throughout.
I honestly can't find anything negative to say about it.
We have found a happy place
