We visited Low Longmire Cottage this time last year and loved it so much we decided to return again this year.
Absolute perfect location for peace, quiet and fantastic scenery. Fabulous walks close by. Visited the south lakes and Drigg beach which as great for the dog. 2 pubs within walking distance. Both served excellent food but The Manor House was our favourite. Best to book though.
The cottage was perfect for a couple with one dog. Lovely garden although as stated not pet secure with lots of tempting bunny rabbits bouncing around
Would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone who enjoys peace, quiet and beautiful walks.
Would love to return next year!

Had a fabulous relaxing 3 days in this lovely cottage. Good walks close by too. The bed and bedding was so comfortable had 3 great nights sleep. Highly recommend to anyone looking for this type of accommodation and location.
