I visited previously in the summer with my grandchildren and had a brilliant time, house was beautiful well decoratedand had everything we needed, the hot tub was an added bonus.
Bank house is in a private location, ideal for beautiful walks and enjoying Silverdale and the nearby Lake district.
I enjoyed my stay so much I have just returned for a week with my husband, and again had a brilliant relaxing stay.
I would thoroughly recommend this property.

We stayed at the Bank House for a week in Sept. It is in a perfect location for walking-we never used the car when we were there. The Co-Op is about a 1minute walk from the front door. We had our dog with us and noticed on the first day that although there was an outside tap, there was no hose to wash our dog down (rain was forecast - which means mud when you own a spaniel!).
We contacted Tarn&Fell, who spoke to the owner and he arranged an Amazon delivery for a hose (with attachment) the next day-perfect timing as we didnt want to be dealing with a muddy dog in someone else's house!

I didnt really like the fact the next house had to walk through our back garden to their back garden-separated by a small metal gate (altgough we knew this when booking). One night we got back and the side gate had been left open by someone. If our dog was outside he would've been able to get out to the road. However, we didnt encounter any issues but it did make me a bit wary, our dog is also territorial and would bark at someone suddenly entering "his" garden!

The bed was huge and soo comfortable, with quality linen. It's very peaceful and we both slept really well every night. The hot tub was great after a long day of walking - although only half of it worked for most of our stay but it was fixed near the end and didnt really matter.

Great shower and big towels - including seperate ones for the hot tub. Take some flip flops to walk to the end of the garden etc for the hot tub.

The lounge area was comfy with a smart TV, although it bugged me the curtains didnt meet up, lol! There was a roller blind as well but a big gap where the curtain pleats have been pulled too tight so wouldnt close properly. A table to put your drinks on would also be really handy.

The pub down the road is only open 3days a week but the hotel a bit further down is open for food and drinks each day.

We had a good stay and would recommend to friends.

The Bank House is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday in the centre of Silverdale.
This is our second stay and we are delighted with this boutique style accommodation.
Bedrooms are clean comfortable rooms nicely decorated with lush bedsheets and soft pillows.
The shower room is also very clean with plenty of-luxury's towels with the loveliest handwashing shower products available for you.
The living room is nice and cosy nicely decorated with simple style touches.
Kitchen area very clean and well maintained equipped with everything that you need for a self catering holiday washing machine dishwasher coffee machine.. facilitated with washing up liquids and dishwasher tablets.. thank you for the milk and Prosecco lovely touch.
Dining table and area is perfect and seating for all us all.
The gardens are beautiful and private with the hidden gem of a fabulous undercover hot tub with towels provided, the area has a great table with seating and barbecue.
We will definitely be returning soon .

We have had a great week at the bank house.
Great location, house was very comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches and lovely artwork. Beds were very comfortable.
Helped by fantastic weather.
The village was fairly quiet , which was also lovely. Had a day up on the lakes as well as lots of local walks.
We’ll definitely be back again ( for our 3rd visit ! )

This is a lovely property right in the heart of Silverdale. Hot tub a huge bonus. Clean, well equipped and nicely decorated.
