We loved the two properties which were linked together for our large family. 2 kitchens/living rooms meant we could spread out. The patio doors with direct access to gigantic green space was superb. We just let the kids out knowing that they would be safe. The best part was the pool. We really enjoyed our swim sessions. The beds are super cosy with ensuite bathrooms. I could not fault this place. The kitchen was fully equipped from coffee machine to stick blender. Its peaceful and near of beaches. Plenty of lovely walks nearby through an estate with fields galore.
We had a really lovely stay here. The accommodation was beautiful and nice and clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed making use of the pool and the tennis courts. We would definitely come back again.
We enjoyed being able to use the pool, kids playing on the field and all the other facilities like the games room. Staff were very helpful when we needed them. Location great for visiting some of the sights of Norfolk.
Beautiful cottage just as I’d hoped, perfect for our family. Well equipped, everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful outlook - would love to come back for longer in the summer months to make the most of it. The children loved the games room and the swimming pool, and the private swimming hour was perfect. Ideal location for exploring the beautiful Norfolk coastline. We will definitely be looking to return in the near future.
We stayed for 7 nights. All the pre-arrival information and directions were very detailed. The cottage was spotless and well equipped, in a delightful setting. Accomodation was very comfortable and relaxing. With the addition of a pool onsite. The local pubs are only a short drive away, and there are plenty to choose from. We couldn't recommend the cottages more highly and will definitely return in the future.
We stayed at Owl cottage for 4 nights in October. We were welcomed with some local produce on the kitchen table and were immediately impressed by the location, facilities and quality of the cottage. Having the games room and pool on site was perfect for us, especially with two young children. Everything we wanted to do was close by in the car and we enjoyed trips to Wells, Hunstanton and Holkham. We’d certainly recommend staying here. We had a short break in this lovely cottage. The area is very near several places of interest and beaches e.g. trip to see the seals, Sandringham and several lovely little towns like Burnham Market, where we had a lovely meal in No. Twenty9 bar and restaurant. The staff at Cranmer Country Cottages were always helpful and the swimming pool lovely. Our 3 year old grandson enjoyed spending time in the Playroom.
Who would have thought that you could find a lovely set of holiday cottages off the beaten track, just outside Fakenham. Firstly, a big shout out to Jen, whom we dealt with before and during our stay. Jen went over and above to help out, and made us feel very welcome. Avocet was nicely situated on the end of a row of cottages and had excellent access to the children's play area and tennis court, although the latter went unused. We booked this lovely cottage last weekend for our family of six adults and 3 young grandchildren, (5,2,1). The cottage was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen with crockery, utensils, glasses etc. The bedroom mattress’s were soft, but we had the best nights sleep. There were high chairs and travel cots for the children. We enjoyed the swimming pool at the cottage, and having it to ourselves as per timetable. Set in a peaceful part of north Norfolk, Garden House is part of a lovely conversion of farm buildings. Garden House is a modern addition but very much in keeping with the overall Eco ethos. It was very a comfortable and relaxing stay. The surroundings are rural with plenty of outside space and additional features of an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts and games room. Some properties can be booked together for larger families. Although there were other guests staying there, It still felt private.
