Very flexible accommodation (2 families of 4 staying in 2 joining properties) which meant there was plenty of space, lots of bathrooms, and scope to cater for a bigger group. The on-site pool was the main attraction for us as the children had a fantastic time swimming every day. The games room was very well equipped, warm, comfortable and spacious. The coast was only 10-15mins away and there was also walking/cycling options from the cottages. The hosts and reception manager were all very helpful, and very quick to respond to messages/emails. Thank you for a fantastic get away.
Fantastic stay in Swallow Cottage! Clean, had lovely furnishings, and well equipped with everything we needed - particularly the kitchen. Our entire family absolutely loved the pool, which was always spotless and perfect temperature. My son looked forward to swimming in the bubbles (the water jet) at each swim session! Outdoor area was great as well, as we could sit on the patio and see our son playing on the swings and slide from afar. We all enjoyed watching the rabbits come out in the evening. We love the cottage, and I love the swimming pool. There were one or two glitches with the system during our stay (hot water problem) but I think they were dealt with quite promptly. I did find I received rather too many emails for my liking….no need to remind me about rubbish disposal so many times, thank you! But we would happily come back to Cranmer Cottages again
The Eco Barn is a really great sociable space and has all the features and luxury touches that make for a relaxing holiday. It is very spacious and furnished to a high standard for guest comfort. The outdoor space is really lovely, with the field beyond full of wildlife. The location is very peaceful and relaxing and the benefit of a pool, tennis court and games room makes it a great choice for the whole family. We stayed in the Tern cottage for a week with our toddler and baby and had an amazing time. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you would need for a family week away, is very spacious, and furnished to a high standard. The garden was perfect both for our dog and for BBQs. The indoor pool was a real highlight which we used everyday. The cottage is perfectly located in the centre of North Norfolk so you can get to most popular locations within 30-40 minutes maximum. Brilliant stay at Owl cottage - from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and appreciated. The whole team are absolutely lovely and it's such a well appointed cottage, it has everything you need for a brilliant stay, including a very luxurious hot tub.
Really enjoyed staying at Wagtail, the facilities at Cranmer Cottages are comprehensive! The pool with private allotted sessions is a real bonus, we had lovely weather too! Lots to do in the area and all just a modest drive away!
We had a short break in this lovely cottage. The area is very near several places of interest and beaches e.g. trip to see the seals, Sandringham and several lovely little towns like Burnham Market, where we had a lovely meal in No. Twenty9 bar and restaurant. The staff at Cranmer Country Cottages were always helpful and the swimming pool lovely. Our 3 year old grandson enjoyed spending time in the Playroom.
Who would have thought that you could find a lovely set of holiday cottages off the beaten track, just outside Fakenham. Firstly, a big shout out to Jen, whom we dealt with before and during our stay. Jen went over and above to help out, and made us feel very welcome. Avocet was nicely situated on the end of a row of cottages and had excellent access to the children's play area and tennis court, although the latter went unused. This is the second time we have stayed in the garden house, we had a lovely week. All the staff were so helpful and kind. The pool is great. We will definitely be back
Everything would have been good except we had to spend lots of time swatting flies in the cottages candidate cleaning up afterwards.
