We had a lovely time at Cranmer Cottages. The play area for the children was fabulous, safe and very big! The tennis courts were in great condition and we enjoyed playing on them The swimming pool was fantastic - perfect for young children - and the timetable system worked very well The cottages worked well for 2 groups - and we all managed to eat together in Swallow's Nest The lounge area was comfortable The only criticism I'd have was that some of the bedrooms were smaller than we expected and very hot in the sunny weather. Overall a great stay for a family

The location and layout of this cottage were perfect for our needs. There was a really well-thought array of facilities and supplies provided - everything from fly spray to washing machines. The games room and pool were excellent. Easy to find and plenty of parking. The on-site office was a reassuring feature - although we didn't really need it.
Really enjoyed staying at Wagtail, the facilities at Cranmer Cottages are comprehensive! The pool with private allotted sessions is a real bonus, we had lovely weather too! Lots to do in the area and all just a modest drive away!
Warm comfortable appartment. Friendly hands off management made for relaxed stay. Excellent pool facilities games room and tennis court. Good location for all that North Norfolk offers.
Staying in woodpecker was relaxing and enjoyable. Having access to a games room and pool for my kids was amazing. If they had their way, they would’ve been in the pool every day for many hours. It was lovely being able to have the pool to ourselves so it did not restrict us by impeding on anyone else else’s Swim. As we are all keen swimmers for us more access to the pool for longer periods would have made it fantastic for us and we weren’t aware at the time of booking that it was bookable sessions only. Who would have thought that you could find a lovely set of holiday cottages off the beaten track, just outside Fakenham. Firstly, a big shout out to Jen, whom we dealt with before and during our stay. Jen went over and above to help out, and made us feel very welcome. Avocet was nicely situated on the end of a row of cottages and had excellent access to the children's play area and tennis court, although the latter went unused. It was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. We made use of the excellent swimming pool, which is one of the nicest we've experienced from many stays in cottages ...more
This is the second time we have stayed in the garden house, we had a lovely week. All the staff were so helpful and kind. The pool is great. We will definitely be back
Everything would have been good except we had to spend lots of time swatting flies in the cottages candidate cleaning up afterwards.
