We have stayed here 3 times now, we love it! Lovely spacious cabin, with everything you need to enjoy your stay, views are amazing, very peaceful & relaxing place. Will definitely be back.

We have recently returned from our stay in Esk Cabin. The location was breathtaking. We had a great weekend exploring.
The accommodation was great, clean and comfortable.
Sandy and Bruce were very helpful!

We had a fantastic stay at Parkgate Farm Holidays! From the moment we arrived, the surroundings were stunning and the atmosphere was so peaceful—exactly what we needed for a relaxing break.

The accommodation was clean, cozy and had everything we could possibly need, making it feel like a home away from home.

Bruce was welcoming and nothing was too much to ask for. We loved being so close to nature, with plenty of beautiful walks and trails nearby and also exploring the local area and surrounding mountains on wheels. Lots to explore, from Muncaster Castle to the world’s smallest railway company, it’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the scenic countryside.

We’ve already booked our return stay and would highly recommend Parkgate Farm to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway in the Lakes.

We had an amazing time here. My little lad loved it. Miles and miles of unbelievable views and a football pitch. He was in his element. The accommodation was immaculate with breathtaking views. The camps hosts, Bruce & Sandy, were so accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. Fire pits, BBQ, marshmallows and biscuits for the evening, ideal areas to walk our dog and provided us with local trails we can explore, really couldn’t do enough for us. The site was well maintained. Brilliant time had by all. Will, and have 100%, recommend this place to anyone. We’ll be back.



Perfect. A lovely site for couples and families. Beautiful views, goal posts great for kids.

Lovely location, beautiful site and very attractive accommodation.Spotlessly clean and comfortable.Esk had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. The large window added to the experience.We had a great time and wished we’d booked for longer. Will definitely stay again if in the area( perfect for our climb of Scafell Pike)
and will recommend to anyone going to the Lake District. Many thanks.

What a fantastic stay! It has been our favourite Lake District site so far and we’ll definitely be back!
The cabin has everything you need, with plenty of space and a logical layout (such as loads of, and I’ll add ‘cool’, hooks for bags, waterproofs etc).
The site and cabin was always clean and well maintained and provides lots of extra items for you to purchase if you need (such as BBQ things etc)
And the view - just wow - looking at that every morning and evening from the comfort of the cabin was just glorious.

We have just returned from a 3 night break with 2 small children, and what a wonderful stay it was. We stayed in a cabin which was incredibly spacious had everything we needed and the most important thing was the amazing view from the lounge area, such a great location so peaceful and tranquil hope to return.

We had a fabulous time at Park Gate Farm. The lodge was well equipped, clean and comfy. Beautiful views from the lodge too. We were pleased with good weather and it was great to be able to sit outside. Prefect size for 2 adults. It might have been a bit small if the teenagers had joined us! Will definitely return.

We had such a wonderful time at Parkgate Farm, what a stunning area and plenty of walks and lakes to visit. Sandy and Bruce were warm and welcoming and we will certainly be back again! Thank you x
