Lovely small camp site, ideal for exploring lakes and close to the coast.
Irt was v clean and met all our requirements.
Bed was so comfortable couldn’t help but gave a good night’s sleep.
Views from Irt are stunning.
Dog friendly with grass area to walk dogs early morning.
Will definitely re visit.

A first-time visitor to the Lake District joining friends who have previously visited a few times. We received a really warm welcome, were given all the required information about the lodge and suggestions for things to do and the importance of pre booking restaurant tables!
I could while away hours sitting in the lodge looking at the ever-changing view! The picture window is a lovely asset to the lodge, increasing light and perceived space!
The lodge was really well appointed, beds very comfortable, although given the nature of the property, a little small. This wasn't an issue for us though.
Sofas are a little un-comfy and could do with being slightly bigger/softer, but a small piece of feedback in what was overall a very lovely stay & one I hope to repeat!

I chose this accommodation as I was working for 2 days close by, I was not disappointed, I spend about £20k a year on accommodation and this venue is in the top 5, I will return if more work occurs nearby but would also stay if I were younger and climbing the stunning surrounding mountains, it is such a good base camp. Starling wifi was incredibly helpful with the work I had to do in the cabin.

The location was fabulous, the cabin and its view perfect for us and the service on site first class - it was unexpected as we've never experienced anything like it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, and will be returning. My thanks to the whole team.

It is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into the planning and setup of this campsite. Well set out accommodation, well maintained, manicured and managed by wardens Bruce & Sandy: Hobbit Hut Cabins, Shepherds Pod, EHU Pitches, and standard pitches for tents and mobile homes, this site has everything.

With every new site visited there is always the hope that my expectations are met. This site exceeded on all levels: website information, ease of booking, owner communication, daily maintenance of toilet & shower facilities, cutting/strimming of grassed areas, cleanliness of pitches, cleanliness and range of amenities of serviced accommodation, and finally, the daily management of cliental.

With the popularity of The Lake District I was very close to being disappointed in finding a site with a range of lodging to accommodate my family of 19 individuals: ranging from first camp ever for a 68-year-old and first ever glampers, to a pro family camper like myself, this little pocket of sunshine overlooking the Western Lakes mountain range is beautiful.

The owners clearly have a winner.

The sunshine helped.
