This was our second visit to the site, and we will return on a regular basis. Beautiful little site tucked into amazing scenery. I love it here! Perfect for swimming in Wast Water and access to Scafell Pike. There’s always a warm welcome and the facilities are spotless. Thank you once again for a wonderful two days.

What a perfect place. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and supported. Unfortunately we were experiencing some electrical problems with our van and Bruce and Sandy couldn't have been more helpful. The site was immaculate and I can only praise the owners and site managers for their care and attention. It's in a great location, and amazing view and lots of good walks directly from the site. It was quiet, friendly, spotless and beautiful. We shall certainly return and we look forward to it!

Visited with our VW Campervan for 1 night. Great location, easy access, fantastic facilities (up there with the best!!). Sandy & Bruce greeted us on arrival & gave us all the info / support we needed. Highly recommend :)

Very nice located campsite in the countrysite with very welcoming wardens, very clean toilets and nice views.
We loved to make fire and make some marshmallows in front of our tent with the bbq you can hire.
A very pleasant and enjoyable stay we had! I can recommend this campsite, certainly if you don’t like the big ones.

The area is beautiful, staff were great and very helpful, facilities were great, kids had puzzles, hula hoops and swing ball games to play with. And the fire pits were great, smores was a lovely treat

I can’t recommend Parkgate Farm enough. The site itself is in beautiful location, we picked it due to the proximity to Scafell Pike (planning on climbing was the main reason for booking)
The pitches had so much space, everything was immaculately clean and tidy, lovely toilets and amazing showering facilities. We walked to 2 pubs from the site, maybe a mile and half/2miles away - Bower House Inn at Eskdale and The Bridge Inn at Stanton Bridge. We didn't eat at either bur both were very pleasant, but the menu looked excellent at the Bowers Inn (personal favourite).
The welcome we had from Sandy & Bruce, the site wardens, was so warm, friendly and helpful - they were fantastic for the whole of our stay, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything for our stay.
The communication from booking until arriving home was also great.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and will be back next year - thank you ☺️

This was a lovely 1 night stay. Campsite had lovely clean facilities and great WiFi signal. Would definitely recommend this site to anyone. Great for scarfell and very well priced.

I stayed here in my motorhome for the weekend with my best friend.
I just love the site. Sandy & Bruce the Wardens are so welcoming, friendly & helpful. It is not a large site, which is great, the location is perfect with fantastic views. Facilities are kept very clean & the campsite is well maintained.
I would highly recommend.

What a gem of a campsite! Beautiful location surrounded by the mountains of the Lakes. The facilities were spotless. Short drive to Wasdale where the swimming is amazing! Close to Scafell Pike. Irton Hall just a few minutes away is a very impressive venue which does great food. Bruce and Sandy were there on arrival and very welcoming and friendly. We’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you.
