The site is in a beautiful location with amazing views onto the lakes. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We will return!

An excellent and beautiful location. Pitch 8 is located at the top of the campsite open to the elements. You get amazing views of the mountains and the sunsets. The wash facilities are located just a minute away and they are well maintained, hot water and even a washing machine and dryer. The camps upkeep is excellent the caretakers really value the place and look after it. Regarding Sandy and Bruce, lovely caring hosts. Definitely would visit again.
Fantastic campsite, would give it 11/10 if I could!

A BEAUTIFUL campsite, stunning location and so clean, neat and tidy. We stayed on pitch 8 which in my opinion was the best place to be view wise and also slightly set apart so quieter. We will most definitely be back, Bruce and Sandy were amazing, so helpful and friendly, we had the best time and are looking for when we can return!

Had a great stay on one of the sites off to the side, nice and peaceful with great views. Toilets are well maintained and clean, and I was happy to pay for extras like firewood.

We stayed for 5 nights with a large 6 person tent. The campsite was very peaceful and had a fantastic view over the hills, and very clean and accessible toilet/amenities block. The site managers Bruce and Sandy were very welcoming and friendly. Our two boys (6 and 8) had a great time playing outside on the shared play area. Would definitely recommend and suitable for families.

This is one of those reviews you don't want to do as you don't want too many people to know its there but it deserves a big shout out! The wardens are so friendly and accomodating, fantastic pitches with plenty of space and outstanding views, the facilities are 5* and the option for biscuits and marshmallows to have with your camp fire is a great touch. You'll pay more than your standard campsite but there is a clear reason for that and personally stands as our number 1 site in the Lakes.

Bruce and Sandy were great hosts and couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely site in pitch 8 (bad for gales, though!). All very clean and serviceable. No noise from neighbours. All in all, a great place to stay.

The most beautiful location I’ve camped in. A nice small site in natural surroundings, little light pollution, so the view of the Northern light was fab. Sandy and Bruce were fantastic host, both helpful and friendly. All facilities were clean and in good working order.

Set in a wonderful location stunning views and a secluded camping spot. Both staff friendly and always happy to help couldn’t have asked for a better stay .
