It was just right for me, very handy and easy for the dogs, smashing views, just couldn’t be better. Thank you very much, will hopefully be back next year and have the same spot.

Great place for staying in the Lake District. Sea ~15 min away. Lakes at the doorstep. Or you can travel to any other lakes within 1h. We were in caravan, it was clean, well equipped and warm. 1 car could be parked next to it and others were able to park near by.
Upon arrival there were road works and in dark we missed entry to the site as navigation took us further away.

We loved this place. It was so quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. We were in the 6 berth caravan which gave us plenty of room as we were 2 people and a dog. The outside balcony area was very useful and got the sun in the mornings. We were able to go on walks from our door as well as being near to the coast for beach walks. The weather was perfect when we were there so the whole holiday was excellent in every way.

Straight forward booking & information courtesy of Rachel.
Wonderful peaceful site, in a beautiful setting, which is well maintained by Bruce & Sandra.
We all loved opening the curtains on a morning to be greeted by the donkeys, especially my grandson who insisted we must feed them all our carrots! Highly recommend this site for total relaxation

5 of us plus a dog stayed at Whin Rigg caravan. It sleeps 6 but the living space was a little small for 3 adults and 2 teenagers. However, the location more than made up for it. It's beautiful. We loved visiting Wast Water, the beaches are lovely (especially Seascale), there's a fantastic bookshop that makes Whitehaven worth a visit, along with a walk up the old mine with views to Scotland, Ireland and the Isle of Man. And the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway is great. We will be returning for sure.

We booked Whin Rigg together with Irton pike and has a great extended family stay. The caravans had everything we needed and the outdoor space between the 2 caravans was perfect for the evening with the fire pit, marshmallows and biscuits. Thanks for a great stay!

We had an amazing time. Owners were lovely. Like the little touches in the caravan like fresh milk and eco friendly bleach and washing up liquid. Was lovely seeing the donkeys each day and feeding them. Best nights sleep in a long time. Would defiantly recommend and will come back soon
