Great location, house has been modernised with well appointed kitchen and bathroom. Great walk in shower. Plenty of cutlery, plates and glasses. Pans are all on the larger side and could do with more smaller ones. 2 food processors, pestle and mortar that are very surplus to requirement. Coffee pod machine but no pods? Rangemaster cooker is great, however, when we were there the oven was not working.

You can't control the heating locally and have to go via the agency to get the owners to turn it up. It took 6 days to get the house warm. Raised some concerns with the agent, hopefully they can get them fixed.

We found Oyster far too keen to want to visit the property. They wanted to check the oven (sure I could work out it won't heat up for more than minutes) and check the pan situation, however, we were on holiday and all we wanted was for them to provide a small frying pan. Service is about doing things rather than hassling us while we are out.

Hopefully they'll get everything sorted for next year as we want to come back.

This was our 17th consecutive year coming to Menai Bridge and won't be the last.

We have since visited the cottage and found that the oven is all working as should. Thank you very much for your comments which we will take on board and take action where needed. We are sorry to hear the house took so long to warm up too as we had been notified that the heating was on and working as should but will absolutely look into this. We picked this cottage for the location, being very close to our family who live nearby. The cottage was comfortable and had most things a family would need for a week away, BUT the lack of drying facilities was annoying. We couldn't get the heating on, (I would have rung the Oyster office had it got colder) and there was NO drying rack or airer, so what are you supposed to do to dry a load of washing? A tumble dryer would be very helpful.
Great to be a walk away from all the shops and cafes etc in Menai Bridge and so close to the water.
If you have a large car, parking would be difficult, as the road outside the property is very narrow.

Generally a great place to stay and lovely location a stone throw away from the strait and bridge.

Kitchen well equipped except only a small freezer box in the fridge.

Dishwasher needs rinse aid and salt and remote in bedroom needs new set of batteries.

The cottage was small looking from outside, but my goodness it is like a tardis inside . Very clean .everything we needed was there.
The bedrooms were big and comfortable. The view of the menai was so lovely . Added bonus for me was a washing machine. Down side was we found a bag of pegs but nothing to hang the washing on . There is a old dolly dryer but can only dry a few at a time . All in all a fantastic place to stay .

We had such an amazing stay here. When we noticed the heating was off we contacted the service and got a response + solution asap which was great. Can only recommend. Would come back here.

A real gem tucked away on the banks of the Menai Straits.

From the moment you step through the welcoming pink door, the cottage feels far more spacious than the outside suggests, opening into a lovely open-plan living, dining with a large kitchen beyond .

Tastefully styled, it’s a joy to stay in. The calm interior, complete with a log burner, feels thoughtfully designed throughout. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a family bathroom with very spacious shower

The highlight is the view from the rear—you’re right on the straits, making for a peaceful, calming stay. I loved everything about it.

For dog owners, the separate utility entrance and dog wash are a brilliant added touch.

Clean and comfortable accommodation. Handy for all amenities and shops. Useful cleaning outside for our dog. Very well equipped if you need to cook at home but plenty of places to eat local within a short walk.
Parking only downside but most of time was ok.

A lovely property located in Menai Bridge. Spacious yet cosy, and one of the most well equipped holiday rentals we have stayed in. Oyster Holiday Cottages were extremely helpful and proactive with any queries we had. It is only on street parking but we were aware of this, knowing where the property was before booking. We would definitely book this again in the future.
