Mountain View is a spacious two-bedroom holiday cottage on the outskirts of Moelfre, a pretty fishing village in the northeast of Anglesey. Close to the big sandy beach at Lligwy and to the Anglesey coastal footpath, the cottage is an ideal base for a family seaside holiday.

Mountain View is a great holiday house, that feels like home as soon as you step through the door.
We found the property to be Immaculately clean, tastefully & comfortably decorated & furnished.
We all totally relaxed during our stay, enjoying the enclosed garden, surrounding fields and walks to the beautiful local beach.
We were 4 adults staying together so the two bathrooms were ideal. If you like a bath ( as I do !) to relax in after walking etc you will love the great bath upstairs !
The house is large enough for everyone to have their peace when needed but also perfect for coming together to eat/socialise in the kitchen/diner or table on the garden decking.
The bedrooms were lovely, comfy beds, quality bed linen & loads of wardrobe/drawer space to unpack your holiday clothes into !!
I’m sure our dog, Missie who accompanied us would give this home 5/5 also if her paws allowed her to write !
We also used this house as a base for a Uni Graduation visit , so the hanging space for dresses was perfect for us ladies !
This was our first booking with Oyster Holiday Cottages. Booking went smoothly & staff very helpful, thankyou
The owner of Mountain View, Mike, was on hand, easily to reach if needed & a polite, kind and friendly gentleman.
After 4 days here we left feeling recharged, reluctant to leave & excited to return in the future !

Loved the house, which I didn’t realise was part of a holiday home complex of four. On arrival everything was explained and shown around which was great and Mike really good.
If you have a dog great little field and dog section as well, my dog loved it although the house we stayed in had a big side garden.

The things I would think need a little improvement are. The side garden has a gate, could do with some mesh on it as small dogs could easily escape.
The EV point although is good is located on the caravan park side which means driving out and around to leave your car charging. This is not part of the cost of the house and is payable. Which I thought as much but must so you know.
The house was lovely but could do with a good clean in the conservatory as cobwebs hanging from roof. All the tables kitchen and coffee table were sticky and needed cleaning as well.
The above didn’t distract from us having a great stay at the house just points I wanted to put in the review. In the plus side the house has all the amenities you need and probably more. The staff all really helpful as well.

Many good points especially suited to dog owners :
Large enclosed garden but take care if you have a small dog that likes to explore as its possible they could escape under the gate.
Decking (with garden furniture) for them if that's their preference.
Well equipped modern kitchen and dining for up to 6. 4 x TVs !!
Spacious comfortable lounge with conservatory.
Thoughtful wet room downstairs showering & toilet.
Bright comfortable bedrooms with more than adequate wardrobe and drawer space.
Easy safe parking. Shortish walk to Lligwy beach - better around high tide , low tide goes out a very long way. Can continue lovely coast ealk round to Moelvre (Ann's Pantry does quality food and cakes - not cheap but good value ).
Well situated for short drives to other locations - Rhosneigr our favourite.
We expect to book again.

It was such a relief to find a fully enclosed large garden for our 3 full of energy dogs. Also there was 2 small fields we could go on but I think maybe in the summer caravans go on 1 of them. House was lovely, stairs were quite steep and on imediate exit from main bedroom stairs were immediately on the left so best maybe to leave a light on. I found it hard to keep the cream carpet in lounge area clean as from coming in from maybe muddy garden had to go over that to get into kitchen and cream again on the stairs and furniture. I know owner said no dogs upstairs and keeping them out of the bedrooms were fine but the stairs were a bit more tricky, thankfully it didnt rain, just dew from the morning. Lovely holiday apart from losing a shoe in the garden . O just 1 thing shower holder for soaps etc downstairs is really rusty and looks horible - needs to go.
