We spent a wonderful few days at Arran Shores and would love to stay again. The apartment was beautifully decorated and the kitchen well equipped. Very helpful communications from Val too.
We had a stunning 3 night stay in apartment 9, the apartment was gorgeous and had all amenities we needed, lovely location right on the beach - able to walk to the pub down the road for nice drinks but the actual location of the apartment was nice and quiet. We will definitely stay here again!
The Shore house was lovely in a perfectly serene setting. The place was immaculately clean and presentable very rarely have I ever stayed in the places as good as this I highly recommend it.
Top quality conversion of the old church with all modern construction. The 2 bed apartment was impeccable with everything new and best quality. Fabulous view from the front towards Holy Isle. Great car parking.
Our suite 12 was totally out of this world. Prior to our visit hosts Val & Lucy kept up updated with local amenities and activities, the suite itself was full 5 star luxury. This is a converted church on the seafront now 13 two and 3 bedroom suites, the suite had un-interrupted views of the lovely Lamlash Bay and the Holy Isle. No expense has been spared in these suites all have top quality fixtures and furnishings, the huge bath in our en suite was actually in the church steeple which was fitted with the most stunning and modern multi level chandelier. You will not meet more accomodating and ...more
We were extremely fortunate with the west coast weather when we stayed, but Arran Shores would have made the perfect base even if it was bucketing down. The apartments are bijou, but beautifully designed and equipped with premium appliances and thoughtful touches. The location on the lamlash waterfront is outstanding and added bonus of some great dining and drinking options within an easy walk. Highly recommend for anyone seeking top class self catering accommodation on Arran.
Arran Shores has everything you need for a perfect holiday. Beautiful furnishings, spotlessly clean and luxury bedding. View from apartment 1 was amazing. Owners have thought of everything to make the accommodation the best in Arran. Lamlash Golf Club is a 10 min walk away and well worth a visit. Watched football there on my own and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome
What a wonderful, comfortable fantastic apartment. The location is incredible, our kids could just walk across the road and they were on the beach for hours. The apartment itself is modern and clean. We definitely want to visit again!
Faultless accommodation in a great location within walking distance of shops, pubs and directly facing the beach. Spotlessly clean a d all furnishings to a high standard. Only thing to be aware of is the two flights of stairs - no lift. Makes getting luggage to and from the apartment a challenge. Would not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
This beautiful property is in a prime position in lamlash .5-10 minute walks to bars and restaurants with which provided us with some of the finest fish dishes we’ve ever eaten . Thank you Arran Shores for your easy to book method and clear information provided about our stay .
We had a lovely stay at Arran Shores. The accommodation is clean and nicely furnished. Great beds, wonderful showers. Unfortunately, there was sometimes a rather strong smell in the corridor leading to our flat. We put an air freshener in the corridor – that sorted it out. But apart from that, it was really great. Check-in and check-out were hassle-free.
Arran Shores is an imposing former church in a quiet location overlooking the sea front in Lamlash. There is ample car parking at the front of the property. Our apartment, number 14, was scrupulously clean and has been stylishly converted. It was very comfortable and convenient for a seven day stay. The provision of Arran shower and soap products was appreciated. Customer service was exceptional in that we were warned of ferry disruptions prior to travelling, and we were assisted with ferry bookings and extending our stay. In summary, highly recommended.
What a spot to come home to after a day exploring Arran. Suite 11 is properly spacious — plenty of room for the four of us to spread out, with the whole top floor given over to one big open kitchen, dining and living space. The view across to Holy Isle from up there was one of the best parts of the whole holiday, especially with a glass in hand watching the light change over the water. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the finish and detail was excellent and being right on the Lamlash waterfront meant we could just wander out the door for a walk along the front to se...more
A wonderful place to stay on the Isle of Arran. For us there were much too much things standing around. The half of it would be already enough.
We couldn't fault the place. So we'll equipped, it was like home from home. The location was excellent being right on the seafront. We will certainly look to return again.
