We have used The Chestnuts for upwards of 15 years now and have always been made to feel welcomed. It really is a home away from home now. The staff have always been fantastic ,friendly and helpful. Mary one of the longest standing members of the team has recently been promoted and is taking it in her stride the entire holiday experience is filled with warmth and care with plenty of jokes and humour along the way. The fishing although not easy is super rewarding. Can not fault a single thing. As per normal will be returning twice next year for our bi-annual dose of Chestnuts magic. Counting the days until we return and get the rods out again. Thankyou as always.

Our third stay at Burr Cottage, Chesrnuts Farm was again, lovely. We stayed as a family of two Grandparents, two parents and one eleven year old granddaughter. The cottage is spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything in place for our needs. Location is excellent within a 20 min drive from Skegness and other attractions such as Lincolnshire Wildlife park and Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre plus many more. On site there’s enough to keep us entertained eg tennis court, table tennis, darts and pool table. There’s also a beautiful fishing lake for the big boys or just to have a pleasant walk around. The farm has goats, sheep, rabbits, cows, pigs and chickens. The chickens are my granddaughter’s favourite with her numerous trips across the field to check on them. A few mornings, you can help feed the animals and once a week there’s a tractor ride around the farm.
A two minute drive, up in the village of Burgh le Marsh, there are a few shops, restaurants and pubs.
We love staying here, and will be back again soon .
