We enjoyed our 2 week stay. It was sunny everyday so heating not required. The oven and fridge are low level which is not suitable for everyone.A small freezer would have been a bonus. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was good. It is a cosy cottage and we will be back next year

We absolutely love Walnut Cottage. We have been visiting the Chestnuts for 16 years now. We originally visited with our Foster daughter. We've been on our own and with family. We have booked to return next year. We can't praise Mary and Dawn enough. They consistently go above and beyond to offer a relaxing holiday.

We really enjoyed our time at the Chestnuts. An excellent locution. So peaceful yet close to to amenities. Will definitely return.

Exzellent Service, beautiful location. Bett was spacius. And very nice bedding. Evrything was there to have a nice comfortable time.
Staff very helpfull.

We have stayed here 3 times and hope to return again next year if not before. Accommodation is spotless and nice having a fenced garden for our dog. Staff are unbelievably friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice for a short stay somethings need updating and changing but overall fine we had a hot week duvet was to hot blinds are ready for changing bit of a scramble back of telly to work them but we will return nothing that would put us off

Walnut is a lovely cottage and our second stay there.
Booking was done over the phone as I was going on the same day but made so easy.
The cottage is really comfortable and clean. It has everything that you need for your stay.
There is a lovely enclosed garden so our dog was able to happily wander in and out.
Chestnuts is in a lovely setting and so close to everything that you may need.
