What a wonderful stay at the Ashton Estate Reubens Rooms, a place that was a real home away from home. Guido and Carol were a welcoming, and highly professional on-site estate management power team! The Reuben Rooms had everything I needed for a long weekend to rest and rejuvenate, and across the Ashton Estate one is spoilt for choice of walks and other outdoor pursuits. We rented the Goodwood rooms as part of the Stables complex to accommodate family to celebrate a 90th birthday. The courtyard made for a fantastic location for a big family bbq. The Goodwood rooms were beautifully appointed and the kitchen wonderfully equipped. The only disadvantage was the single bathroom and toilet for 6 people, although this didn’t cause a problem.
We were eight people including children and we all thoroughly enjoyed our week in this delightful spacious well equipped cottage situated in what was the park and gardens of the old Rothschild estate.
We rented the St LEGER Rooms as part of the Stables complex to accommodate family to celebrate a 90th birthday. The courtyard made for a fantastic location for a big family bbq. The St LEGER rooms were phenomenal we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful lounge and large kitchen. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped with great quality equipment.
Had yet another amazing stay. All set up for the children so much for them to do and see. Loads of toys, games just fantastic The houses are superb and just what we need for the extended family and Guido is very helpful and nice
Moreland manor was the perfect venue for a large family gathering. The house was equipped with everything you could think of, to cater for a large group. The estate was outstanding with every last thing you can think of to keep children & adults entertained in a beautiful setting.
The Ashton Estate is absolutely beautiful. Gainsborough House was our base camp whilst attending a big family wedding in Oundle. Not only is it beautifully renovated, decorated and furnished, it was also very comfortable and well equipped. We took full advantage of the courtyard space where we could sit out doors and admire the surroundings. Only wish we could have stayed a little longer as we did not get a chance to explore the woodland walks. We will be back !
We had an amazing stay at Greenwood Manor. Opulent decor, perfectly clean and well maintained. Welcome hamper contained delicious treats and there were plenty of indoor games provided for the children. Their attention to detail and customer care are second to none. Great outdoor entertainment in the form of themed Shepherd Huts, huge selection of sports equipment at The Cricket Pitch and The Green room for adults. I honestly could not think of anything that they fall short of. It is an amzing place and we will certainly return!
Dear Lucie and Guido, My family and I have had another wonderful stay at The Gatehouse. It is so precious for us to spend time with the extended family and we feel very lucky to have found Ashton's Estate which hosts us all so well. As we keep returning we are particularly enjoying how low-intervention the natural world feels around the estate. We find it deeply relaxing that every wild animal, person and insect is left to do as suits their nature. We had an amazing stay at East Lodge, secluded and nestled among the trees. The host was very helpful and came to show us around and tell us about the huts and local walks. The house is immaculately decorated and a lovely hamper of snacks was provided for arrival. I will definitely be returning!
The apartment was lovely and very well equipped. The area is really beautiful. Our visiting grandchildren loved all the outdoor things to do. We’ll definitely be back.
Thoroughly enjoyed another stay in this delightful cottage, home from home, peaceful, lovely welcome basket, we enjoyed walking the grounds and playing giant chess. Thanks Guido and Carol. Looking fwd to our next visit already.
