Have been here several times. Lovely cottages , dog friendly and nice warm welcome. Well equipped kitchen and nice bathrooms make a very comfortable stay.

The courtyard was a very nice cottage, plenty of room to accommodate the 8 of us, comfortable beds and storage, with scones

This was our fourth visit to Rooke Cottages. The cottages tick all our needs plus the fact Rob and Gill are lovely people, already booked for 2024. Great watching the barn owls.

Have stayed at Rooke Cottages twice before so we knew it was a perfect location for both the older and youngest members of our family. Close to the dog friendly and beautiful Rock beach, Eden Project, Padstow etc.
Cottage was well equipped, quiet and excellent for dog walks plus playground and long drive for children and bikes. Owners couldn’t be more discreetly helpful. We will be back again.

Fantastic Christmas break in this lovely cottage. The place is lovely and has everything you need for a nice quiet, cozy stay. We stayed over Christmas and it was fantastic. The hosts Rob and Gill are also so nice and friendly. Nothing is too much of an issue.

We had another wonderful stay, warm, cosy, peaceful- we love the area and the close proximity to Padstow, Rock, Bedruthan Steps and Trevone Bay, our favourite spots. St Kew Inn and Pickwick Inn for great food and service.
A perfect spot for a great holiday and great accommodation- just went by too quickly.

We had an excellent stay at the Courtyard. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and had everything needed for a quiet, relaxing break. The garden was great for the dog with walks right from the front door. It is the most perfect setting with beaches a short drive away. Highly recommended for a lovely holiday in Cornwall - we are already looking to book again for next year.

This was our fifth stay at Rooke cottages, we have stayed at four of the seven cottages. This time we stayed in The Courtyard as we were a larger party. It didn’t disappoint. The cottages are all beautiful with their own unique style. All immaculately clean and well equipped they really are a home from home. Rob is a great host and as always it was lovely to see Darcy and Beau. Thank you team for a great holiday!

We are regulars at Rooke and this year was just as good and the others. The place is so comfortable and homely you never want to leave.

The cottage has everything you need, lots of open countryside around you, village and pub in walking distance. Lovely food!

We love it here and would recommend to anyone just looking to escape.

The Courtyard was a wonderful place for a 2 generational family - the eldest being 90, to stay fort the week.
The property has everything you could possibly want and was very comfortable all round.

We have stayed in The Courtyard several
times before and have always found it a prefect holiday destination. It was even better this time with additional outdoor furniture which made sitting on the veranda, over looking the sheep in the field an even better experience.

Rob and Gill the owners are very friendly and helpful, nothing seems too much trouble.

The location is tranquil and the view beautiful. Sunset is an absolute delight with silhouetted animals on the hill top opposite.

You are away from the crowds but the coast is very accessible. Daymer Bay is dog friendly and you can walk across the sands to Rock. There were many paddle boarders at Daymer and it would have been nice to have tried it out. There are body boards and windbreaks available at the cottage but a paddle board is probably a bit too much to ask.

The St Kew Farm shop is close to Rooke Cottages (by car) and provides great coffee and delicious food.

The Internet connection at Rooke , once pretty terrible, is now better than the one we have at home with good speed available. My husband could comfortably work one afternoon from the cottage.

I have booked my next trip already.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, enabled us as a family of 7 with 3 dogs to enjoy the beautiful countryside and local beaches. Plenty of space to relax with all the utensils for family meal times.
Bedrooms was very luxurious, all with on suites including baths. Was a superb family holiday and would definitely consider staying here again

Rooke Cottage was amazing. We stayed there for a week in May and although the weather could have been better the holiday was amazing. The cottage held 8 of us all very comfortable, the beds were very comfy and the range in the kitchen was a delight. Very secure for the dogs where they could run round quite safely. Just a beautiful cottage with gorgeous surrounding, and easy to get to the best of Cornwall and its fabulous beaches and walks.

This place is stunning, out enough in the countryside for it to be dead quiet with perfect views but only a 10 minute drive to town centres and beaches.

The cottage itself for stunning, loads of room, everything you could ask for and very luxurious.

We fell in love with the place and booked for next Christmas before we left.

Can’t recommend enough!!

As always, we loved our stay. Rob and make things very easy and welcoming and the accommodation is perfect.

Lovely place to stay. The roads are a little narrow for the last mile or so, but nothing unusual for Cornwall. Fairly central location so this makes an ideal base.

Rooke Farm cottages are beautiful and we had a fantastic stay. The cottages are well thought out and there has clearly been a really high attention to detail. The cottages are well equipped, have lovely decor and very comfortable bedrooms. We felt immediately at home the moment we arrived. There are some lovely touches too like the Cornish afternoon tea waiting for you on arrival. The cottages are quite remote so you need to be able to drive but they are worth the drive and there is a great pub in the village.

A very comfortable property on the outskirts of an attractive, small village with a good pub. Not far from Polzeath. An outside, large veranda catches the evening sun.

Needed to get away . Courtyard Cottage provided the ideal place to rest up and then explore our favourite places again.The cottage was perfect . Everything you could possibly need was in there . Never seen so many TVs and showers! Rob,Gill and family are so lovely and NOTHING is too much trouble. They are there for you but in obtrusive too. Thanks guys!!!

We have stayed at Rooke cottages many times and this is our second time in The Courtyard. The cottage is a good size for 8 adults and the balcony/decking a really nice spot for a bbq dinner. We prefer to be away from the bustle of the coast and the tranquility of Rooke is a welcome break from the busy beaches.

This was our fourth stay in Courtyard, a family group of 10, with 4 of us staying in Walnut, and including 4 dogs. As in previous years Rob and Gill and their staff proved to be great hosts, always ready to help in any way. The whole ambience is clean, neat and tidy with everything we could possibly need. It is a haven of tranquility yet close to all the local amenities.

We spent a week at Rooke Cottages with friends. We were lucky with the weather and going back to our cottage every night after a days activity was always a delight... I would highly recommend the accommodation and look forward to going back soon!
