This apartment has everything you could need for a self catering holiday. Location was ideal with a short walk into the old town and short walk and steps to the beach. Ideal base for looking round the rest of the island. The veranda was lovely to sit on although it would be better if a couple of feet was taken off the trees as this blocked the view slightly. We will definitely return in the future. Shanklin is a lovely village with excellent restaurants.

Fantastic apartment: modern, clean and in a brilliant location within walking distance of Shanklin.

The apartment is well located within walking distance of old Shanklin village and the shops in town. Rylestone gardens and Shanklin Chine are close by and well worth visiting. The walk through the landslip to Bonchurch and Ventnor is not hard and very rewarding. We returned by bus from Ventnor,every half hour, to the bus stop 100 metres from the apartment.
The whole apartment is well furnished and comfortable. Good parking on site. The living area is great, really light and airy and direct access to the sunny verandah.
The service from Island Holiday Homes was excellent, always helpful and pleasant. If only all agencies were as good as this.

Quiet location. Lovely views over Sandown Bay which can be seen from kitchen window and balcony. Warm well equipped apartment. Comfortable beds. Great place for walkers, the coastal path is just in front of apartment building. Easy reach of Shanklin beach although there are quite a few steps leading down. We stayed from 23rd March to 30th March 2019 and had lovely weather all week, sunshine everyday. We really enjoyed out stay.
