Welcome to our charming holiday home in the heart of Bembridge! This delightful 2-bedroom cottage offers a versatile accommodation setup, featuring one double bedroom and a second bedroom that can be arranged as either a twin or double, making it perfect for families or friends.

Situated in a prime location, our cottage is next to a lovely gastro pub and surrounded by the vibrant town of Bembridge, a popular destination known for its upscale ambience. The property is part of a collection of cottages, ideal for large groups travelling together. Guests can enjoy the spacious shared garden, perfect for social gatherings and outdoor relaxation

A really lovely comfortable cottage in a great location, 5 min walk to mini shop that has everything you need. Beach is about a 20 min walk or 5 mins by car with free parking spaces, though not that many spaces. Super cafe at the beach, looking down onto the pebbles and sand.
Added bonus of belonging to The Birdham Hotel and at extra cost you can simply walk round for breakfast in the morning, or any meals in you don't fancy cooking.
Bembridge is a beautiful part of the island.
I was unlucky to have a horse riding accident whilst away , and spent four days in hospital. So when I came out, I only had two days at the cottage before catching ferry back to the mainland. With wonderful friends, although a disaster, it could've been so much worse. I also had my dog with me but was able to manage. The grass area around the four cottages was great for her, and I did manage to walk her locally on the last day. I was actually in Birdham 4 , as I think the other cottage had a plumbing issue that was being fixed, but I presume they are all the same.
I was able to sit and enjoy the livingroom with TV, looking out into the garden area in the sunshine. I think Birdham 4 got the sun more than the other cottages.
One suggestion would be a couple of small side tables next to sofa and individual chair, for mugs, etc. I simply used a dining chair instead though.

Breakfast was excellent.

Info for dogs:
The garden area is lovely, you can walk round all the cottages, however, it is open to the car park, so caution required, although very quiet. A fenced off bit would be lovely, but equally, can just keep your dog on a lead if needed.
I found the french window too difficult to shut and lock, so kept it shut. However, on my return from hospital , it was irrelevant as I had two cracked ribs and a fractured scapula, so I wasn't going to be doing anything.
Despite my predicament, I had a great stay. Bed was comfortable, linen lovely, shower great.
Would definitely go there again. Having such good options as to self catering and eating in, without having to drive anywhere.

Would you return?
Yes, although planning West Coast next year. next year.

Newly refurbished property ,great location enjoyed the food in the Birdham ate there often the service was good and staff very friendly..
Only two of us , the twin beds would be ok for children maybe the option of another double would suit 4 adults also bathroom downstairs good but upstairs showerroom ,shower very challenging and we are under 5 and half feet tall .
There was also a problem with the WiFi and we had no television at one point they did have an Ariel point so maybe this could be re instated for breakdowns . That said the owners said they were going to look into this .
We enjoyed our stay and would book this property again .

We spent just over a week at the accommodation, it has been refurbished recently and so was very clean and tidy. Has all you need for a stay and sufficient space but there was only 2 adults. Not much information supplied in the folder.

Would you return?
Unlikely, but not due to accommodation. More related to limited bus links to access other parts of the Island.
