This well-equipped and recently refurbished 1st floor, 1 bed apartment, located on Shanklin seafront, in the beautiful East Wight area and near Old Shanklin Village, offers a comfortable apartment with spectacular views.

We really enjoyed our stay, the views are wonderful and we loved having the balcony to sit and just look out to sea and along the promenade, Shanklin promenade is such a delightful spot to find yourself in. The apartment is in very good decor and condition and nicely appointed.

Although only a 1 bed apartment we felt it was quite adequately spacious for two and well equipped, all we could of done with was a fan, and none were provided, bring one you WILL need it in warm weather as there is no direct airflow in and out, only a side window in the back bedroom, scissors and a casserole dish of some sorts for lasagne or similar dishes wld of been handy as nothing is provided other than saucepans but we managed quite well to self cater.

We did find the bed a bit too hard for us, gave us a bit of backache for the first few days but that's personal preference I guess, but like the three bears, too hard, too soft were right in the middle lol.

A welcome pack would of been a nice touch they are always a joy when u get a nice one, make u feel welcomed but can't complain as loo roll , hand wash & washing up liquid were provided, there were 4 little 1 person cartons of cows milk in the fridge, we don't drink it but my brother popped round for coffee as he lives in shanklin so he had 2 in his coffee as he turned his nose up at our oat milk. If u like ice bring ice trays as there was only 1 very small one, I always bring my own as I like ice in my gin :-)

Nice little book library on the stairs, all in all a lovely stay, secure entry, not that there's any bother in shanklin, not much noise from the pub next door, we were expecting more, heard the bottles going in the bins a few times late at night or seagulls in the morning but so much less than expected.

We would definitely stay again, a very nice apartment in a great location.

The location was excellent, we love Shanklin with the view of the sea. The apartment was very comfortable, with the kitchen having just the right amount of appliances etc. We have mentioned personally that for those guests staying for 2 weeks, arrangements for a change of bedding could be in place at the onset of stay. As for us , we had to request a change midway of our stay. We were very handy for a variety of restaurants, cafes etc & the beach front was very clean. We found that although busy during the day & evening, the location was quiet for late evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday on the IOW.

Good morning. We are so pleased you had a great stay for the festival. I thought I should reassure you that the showers and taps in the property are all brand new a fitted to the local authority standard. This is the green standard to which we are refurbishing the property to. Many thanks Mike
