A great find for a family get together. The cottage was well positioned for exploring the area. It had everything you would need, and more. We visited the sea life centre and a booked the spa at the Lodge on Loch Lomond. A beautiful area and so peaceful .
I’m not sure why the hot tub water needs checking every day as we had to get out of it one morning to allow for the testing having only just got in !

Beautiful detached house with very high standard of cleanliness and amenities, all the rooms were very spacious and have en suite toilets and showers. Large lounge and kitchen and great welcome pack . Beautiful gardens.. The house is just off the Arden roundabout and very near to Luss and Balloch, it's a couple of minutes drive to Duck Bay marina unfortunately we didn't book for dinner but managed to get in for a coffee .

This is my third stay at this cottage and I can’t praise it enough. The accommodation is spacious well maintained , it is immaculately clean . The large open plan kitchen dining room, living room are ideal for socialising All the bedrooms have large en-suites , the bedrooms are all spacious perfect for family and friends .It has the added bonus of a hot tub and sauna in a private garden surrounded by countryside. The team managing the estate are lovely to deal with . Booked again for 2026

We had a family weekend in the house, it was spotlessly clean with plenty of space for everyone.
Its the little touches that make the difference, the welcome pack, hot tub and sauna were a real bonus.
The location is good, a 30min walk takes to to Duck Bay where you can get a drink and excellent food and right next door is Cameron House hotel if you wont something a bit posher.
Over all a great weekend in a wonderful house.

Great stay in this beautiful home. 3 bedrooms provided ample room with a modern kitchen and living room, enough for 3 couples. Liz was fantastic in helping with any questions prior to our arrival, and once there, with great suggestion to take advantage of local scene. My only wish was to have it a bit closer to Cameron House. Great experience overall.

We had a fantastic weekend and will definitely be back. The cottage is extremely spacious, comfortable and absolutely spotless. We loved the hot tub and really appreciated the welcome pack. The cottage is also extremely well equipped. The location is wonderful, minutes walk to Loch Lomond.

The only criticism is the automatic lighting in the bathrooms - it's really annoying in the middle of the night for the very bright lights to come on.
A map of the local area showing walks & directions to the loch would have been useful, a neighbour pointed things out to us.
We didn't use the hot tub so can't comment on that, but everything else in the cottage was clean, new bathrooms & comfy beds.
We were woken in the night by a piercingly loud alarm, we think maybe a short power outage, it thankfully went off quite quickly.

We were tired mums looking for peace and relaxation, this was the perfect place. The cottage was well appointed, spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. The hot tub was an excellent addition as was the sauna. We placed a Tesco order, everything arrived and then we relaxed in the wonderful surroundings for 2 blissful nights. We made the short 15 min walk to Duck Bay on Saturday for a late lunch and then back to relax. I would highly recommend this property, we will certainly be back!

The cottage is lovely and the surrounding is beautiful. The owners have ensured that everything you might need is provided for your stay. The stay was to celebrate my 60th birthday and my family were supported to arrive early so that they could set up a surprise for me arriving which was lovely.

We did not use the sauna but the hot tub was great. If I could make one recommendation it would be for the roof of the pergola above the hot tub to be able to close as it was raining when we were there and although you are wet in the hot tub it was cold rain so did not use it as much as we would have liked, and this could be an easy change.

The only complaint I have was that the time went by too quick and did not want to leave. Will need to visit again in the summer months.

This is our 3rd stay at bonny banks for a family break. It's an ideal set up for our needs and has everything you would want in self catering accommodation. Location is fab, clean with plenty of room. The hot tub is just the icing on the cake. Perfect.

We had a lovely, chilled week at Bonnie Banks. The hot tub and sauna were well-used and enjoyed by everyone. The property is spacious (there were six of us for some of the week) and had everything we needed. Not quite enough barbecue weather, but that's Scotland for you; we did manage two though and being able to eat outdoors was lovely. Only suggestion for future improvement would be the addition of an EV charging point.

We booked this for attending a wedding at The Cruin. Whilst being near to the venue it was not as we thought within convenient walking distance.
That being said, the cottage was lovely. It was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The addition of the sauna and jacuzzi is excellent and great for relaxation.

We have stayed in better cottages, sadly. Lovely size house although close to the main road so lots of road noise.
Lovely bathrooms, modern and clean. Kitchen sadly lacking. The oven was very greasy. One wine glass that wasn't made of plastic! No cloths to wipe the benches. I don't believe the hot tub been cleaned as we found a plastic bottle floating in it and brown scum in the foam? I don't own a hot tub but I assume this isn't normal?
Very little I formation about the local area and eateries and I couldn't see a guest book which often can have handy hints for your holiday. There is a menu for the Chinese restaurant Princess Rose, please don't go there. It's the worst food we have ever had and very expensive. We have definitely stayed in worse places but we were surprised given how much we paid

There were 4 of us staying at Bonnybanks Cottage and we had a fantastic stay. The Cottage has everything you could wish for. It is exceptionally clean, lovely comfortable beds and very spacious. We were so lucky with the weather and took a sail to Inchmurrin for lunch. 2 of our group walked to loch lomond (not far) for a swim. We had arranged for a mobile therapist to attend one day so we could make the most of the jacuzzi and have a spa day. All wonderful. This was my 3rd stay at Auchenheglish and won't be my last. FABULOUS

A very nice property near Loch Lomond but without any direct or easy access to the shore. Rather dark inside as it is totally surrounded by very high trees meaning you can barely see the sky.

The house had everything we needed for a relaxing family break with plenty of space inside and out for the adults and an active 3yr old. The only disappointment was the lack of direct access to the loch as promised in the website "a short walk through woodlands" as every path we tried had Private signs displayed. This had been one of the main reasons we had chosen to stay in this cottage and I think the company needs to clarify what guests can access on the estate with clearer/more detailed maps.

Bonnie banks was a perfect family cottage. We stayed with our two young boys and they loved it. The cottage was spotless on arrival, a perfect home from home. The hot tub and sauna were fab. The location was great, close to Balloch, and a nice little cycle route around loch lomand and straight road towards fort william. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Great place to holiday. The cottage was exceptional, very well equipped and clean. The starter pack that was provided was beyond expectations. Furniture and decor certainly high spec.

Hot tub and sauna made our holiday seem special. Garden very private. Easy access with key code supplied. Only downside was cottage not easy to find but rung owner and was given directions.

This is a fabulous cottage with lots of space and facilities. The cottage was clean and had everything that we needed/ wanted. The location was lovely, and there was a beautiful garden to the front and back.

The review form mandates the completion of the ranked scale for cleanliness, customer service, comfort, condition, location and value for money. Overall the cottage itself was excellent, but the cottage included a hot tub and sauna and outdoor space which was the reason for booking in the first place. Therefore the ranking provided is an overall score combining both the cottage and the outdoor facilities.

The main issue with the cottage was accessing the hot tub and the condition of the hot tub. There is a slabbed pathway in the garden but it does not reach the hot tub or the sauna. The patio doors from the cottage lead out to the hot tub and sauna, but to access them both you require to walk down a grassy slope. Given it had been raining, the sloped area was wet and the mud was making it slippy. The alternative was to walk across another patch of grass, resulting in wet and muddy feet by the time we reached the hot tub (wearing flip flops). This area really needs a pathway or some decking or something to make accessing these facilities easier and less risk of slipping on wet grass (especially given the lovely Scottish weather!).

The sauna was brilliant. The hot tub unfortunately appeared old and in need of repair. Several parts fell off the hot tub on first entering it. Other than two pillows falling off, we had no idea what the other parts were. Some were floating on the water, other parts sank to the bottom. The hot tub felt warm (not hot) and there were undissolved tablets floating. We didn't stay in it for too long on the first day we arrived.

On the second day we assumed someone would arrive to do some maintenance work on the hot tub (new tablets to clean etc), however no one arrived. We contacted the named person to report the difficulties we were having but we were told that the responsibility for maintenance of the hot tub was via an external organisation and that we should report this ourselves to this organisation. Given that we were all on holiday looking for a stress free weekend, the last thing we wanted to do was be on the phone to someone reporting an issue regarding a product belonging to someone else.

On the third day we gave the hot tub a last try, but on opening the cover, we found the temperature to be 34oC, it wasn't warm enough to sit in.

We spent most of the weekend using the sauna.

The cottage itself was perfect but the weekend was about relaxing, using the hot tub and being outdoors. The difficulties we had with the hot tub did put a dent into what would have been the best weekend.

I emailed the person we booked with on return from the cottage to provide feedback on our experience and received no reply, therefore it is difficult for me to make recommendations to others to use this cottage in the future; the most important aspects of purchasing a product is the customer service and value for money.

The cottage was exactly as we hoped! It was beautifully clean and very well equipped with everything we needed for our family holiday. The garden was very safe for our grandchildren and we enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Customer service was excellent right from booking to when we left. The staff were friendly and very welcoming making us look forward to our visit. We were able to walk to the Loch side which we really enjoyed, sampling drinks and food at the Wee Cruin on the way. The location was perfect for getting around the area but being so close to the main road did mean that we could hear the traffic at night, but not enough to really disturb us. It also has the added bonus of a hot tub and sauna! Very clean and comfortable so great for breaking break. Very conveniently located for the local attractions. Felt lucky to have found Bonnie Banks. Just what we needed for a relaxing couple of nights away as a group of friends. Communication was excellent before we arrived. Liz was lovely and I was confident that if I needed anything I could just ask. The cottage itself was spacious, comfortable and spotless with everything you could need provided. Handy to have paper towels provided and simple things like salt and pepper. The hot tub was an added bonus especially under the clear Loch Lomond night skies. I would definitely recommend and already planning to rebook for next year.

Only recommendation would be better signage to find the place.

2nd visit to Bonnie banks and won’t be the last!! Beautiful cottage, has everything you need & more!! Spent Christmas at it this year and the cottage was all decorated even a tree, lovely touch. The cottage is spacious, clean, warm, it’s like something from a film! So peaceful. Me and my family love it and can’t wait to go back. Location is amazing, 5 minutes drive to Helensburgh which has a big co-op supermarket and other amenities. And Loch Lomond on your door step with beautiful scenery! Just out of this world the whole experience, total relaxation, the hot tub and sauna are a great touch! 5 stars isn’t enough for this property, it’s beyond that!

Excellent service from the owners who could not have been more helpful to aid our stay including early check ins.

Very clean, fully equipped and extras such as sky TV and some basic unexpected groceries to aid the stay. Plenty of space for 3 couples all with their own bathrooms.

Location was great given it's proximity to the Loch, Balloch/Luss, just be aware that with the grounds surrounding the home being private, you cannot realistically walk to the loch from the property. Not really an issue however.

Would definitely return.

We had a lovely stay at Bonnie Banks Cottage, very spacious, clean and in a lovely location. My only suggestion would be to get rid of the dated sky and invest in a smart TV whereby guests can access their own streaming services (which would also save you money). Would also recommend that in the welcome folder there was taxi numbers and local takeaways who are familiar with the location. Would definitely stay again.

We all really loved this cottage, the rooms, all the facilities and everything so thoughtfully provided was more than you could hope for, it was all so comfortable. Loved the outside area, with hot tub, sauna and barbecue area. Whenever I needed to get in touch before and at arrival, I was able to get some help quickly.
The only very small improvement would be that it was mentioned that you could walk down to the Loch, but it seemed it was private land. Would be great if this was clarified or not mentioned if not possible as was the only small problem. We were sad to leave and plan to return. A really great place to stay.

My family and I are absolutely in love with Bonnie Banks Cottage, everything about it contributes to a lovely relaxing holiday. The house itself is spacious, clean and so very comfortable. They have thought of all the things you might need throughout your stay. The setting is beautiful and makes you feel like you are in a little world of your own - whilst still being close to amenities, great restaurants and attractions. We love the ability to spend days on our own exploring the Loch or go just a little further for other adventure. This house is particularly great for kids as the garden is spacious with a fence all the way round. This is our perfect holiday spot.

The cottage exceeded our expectations, it was extremely clean and very spacious. Lovely location with only a short countryside walk down to the beautiful Lochside. Due to Covid restrictions we were unable to get into the cottage until 4pm on Friday and out by 10am Sunday but it was still value for money.
We’d have liked a bit more information on how to get to the banks of Loch Lomond from the property as it’s so close but we were prohibited because of private property. We had to walk along the very main road side path for about 10 -15 minutes before we got to the Banks.
The hot tub facility was great. Unfortunately we didn’t try out the garden sauna but it looked good.

After a lot of stop start, it became apparent that we were finally going to be able to have our holiday. Arrived at this beautiful part of the country to the cleanest property ever. Very comfortable house easy walking from the property.
We have had so much support from Liz throughout.
There are 3 bathrooms in the property, but not one has a bath, all showers, which is a shame.

This very nice and spacious living accommodation was enjoyed by part of our big wedding party all staying in Arden estate. This clean and comfortable large cottage with its excellent welcome pack of provisions provided a very relaxing base where we were able to make the most of the Loch Lomond location and enjoy the hot tub in the privacy of the nice garden area. Our only criticism is the bathroom lights which are motion activated, no doubt a safety concern. Would have liked to be able to override them, or have a dimmer light, especially in the middle of the night! The hosts were very helpful, and the provisions they provided were much appreciated. We had a fantastic stay at the cottage celebrating my Mums 90th birthday. The cottage is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and is very well equipped. Everything is provided for. The hot tub was amazing after a day sightseeing. It is also in a great location to visit the surrounding tourist spots. The loch is beautiful.

I cannot fault Bonnie Banks Cottage. The customer service was really helpful, the cottage itself was clean when we arrived and the addition of essentials in the fridge was welcome. The facilities in cottage were all excellent, it really felt like a home. It's location was perfect for us as it was only a five minute drive to the wedding venue and the surrounding scenery was stunning.

This is our second stay at Bonnie Banks and will be back with our 2 children. They love the spacious house and very comfortable beds. The hot tub is a lovely extra - the only thing i could comment on and this is not negative would be that it would be lovely if there was a surround over the top of the hot tub for the Scottish weather. Its a great quiet location and the owners have thought of everything you could possibly ever need for your stay. The customer service is great also. The nearby park "Balloch" is great for children and Loch Lomond shores is only a 5 min drive away.

Bonnie Banks was perfect base for our itinerary. Liz and her team were very helpful and responsive but not obtrusive. Accommodation was faultless with all mod cons.

Would have been nice to be actually on the bonnie banks of the Loch but the walk wasn’t too onerous.

Hot tub was a great way to end the day - especially after climbing Ben Lomond in the rain!!

Duck Bay restaurant is worth a wander for a drink on the terrace overlooking the Loch and/or a great meal

Our family came together for a special celebration and the space and separation within the house suited the needs of 6 adults perfectly. it provided everything that was required for the short stay, and that it is in very easy reach of the village of Luss where the celebration was held was a bonus.

The cottage was a wonderful find, and was a great alternative to a hotel for a family of 5 to stay in. A three bedroom, three bath cottage, with full amenities at a great price. Really, what is there not to enjoy? The location is well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen, comes fully stocked with everything you might possibly need to cook a meal (sans food). Admittedly you do give up the hotel's daily cleaning of Towels and Sheets, but there is a washer and dryer available to you if you such a need arises.

If I had to nitpick my stay at the Bonnie Banks Cottage in any degree, it would be on the maps and signage. Something there was a distinct lack of. The provided maps for directions were hand drawn. It would be worthwhile to invest in digital maps. Also, bigger signs near the properties to help direct visitors to their accommodations. For instance the Bonnie Banks Cottage was not on the drawn map of the Arden Estates property. We happened to find it out of partial luck.

Back on the positive side, the walk from the cottage to the Loch side was wonderful. Again, a little bit of an adventure due to limited signage, but easy enough to locate and a wonderful view of the Loch. Possibly one of the best bonus's to the cottage is the ability to say and be Loch Side.

Altogether, my family was great to be staying in the cottage rather than a hotel in Glasgow or Edinburgh. We were separated from the crowded tourist areas, at least when we were not out and about sight seeing. Which allowed us to relax and unwind.

I booked three of the Auchenheglish properties for a weekend to hold a family celebration.

Everyone found the three properties outstanding in terms of comfort, presentation and space. The Hot-Tub was a lovely decadent addition.

There was more than enough space in each property for the allocated guest numbers, not just in the communal lounge and kitchen areas, but even in the bedrooms which gives guests some space to be private if they want.

Great location near Loch Lomond and Glasgow airport.

The whole process of booking, sorting out the fine details of the room allocation and departure was made easy by Liz and the 'clean-up' team

I would definitely recommend Auchenheglish and I will be using them again any time i can.

Bonnie Banks cottage was first class. It was well equipped, immaculate, spacious and extremely comfortable. The owners left a variety of goodies including a lovely bottle of wine! What a lovely touch. This was indeed luxurious. The garden and hot tub was situated in a private area with lovely areas to eat out/sit and enjoy the sunshine. We were at a wedding at the Cruin which was only a 15 minute walk along the main road so easy to get to- obviously this might be a longer walk if infirm, but there were lots of taxis available. We had a wonderful family Easter wedding break made even better by staying at such a lovely home. We will definitely return at some point in the future.

The Bonnie Banks is a wonderful cottage for 6 people. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The hot-tub is a bonus and was well used by us.The fixtures and fittings are kept in excellent condition. Our only gripe is that we were part of a big wedding party who were staying on site but there is no map in the property of how to get to the Cruin on foot so we had to drive there everytime we wanted to meet with the rest of the gang
PS The welcome pack is tremendous.

We booked this house for a 60th birthday , first class accommodation , everything needed for a break away.
Lounge was spacious and the xmas tree and decorations just made it extra special . Bedrooms again were all spacious and beds very comfortable . Loved the sensor lighting in the bathrooms . The layout worked perfectly and the hot tub just added to our experience .

This was our first visit to Loch Lomond and we were more that pleased with our choice of accomodation. Bonnie Banks cottage had everything you required and more. The hot tub was amazing and went down a treat. The weather was lovely and we walked into Balloch which took about half an hour. The Duck Bay Marina Restaurant was an excellent choice to go for our meal. We would highly recommend Bonnie Banks Cottage.

Everything about our trip to Bonnie Banks Cottage to celebrate a “special” birthday was excellent, from initial first contact with the very helpful Liz! The house is wonderful with everything you could possibly need, even down to plastic glasses supplied for outside celebrations!! We booked the lodge to stay the day before our daughters wedding at The Cruin, and a couple of days after. There were five of us, bride, mother and father of the bride, chief bridesmaid and grandmother of the bride. The accommodation was perfect, particularly the three bathrooms when everyone was getting ready on the morning of the wedding. The hot tub was a real added bonus. The only down side was that we had hoped to be able to walk to the Cruin but this was only possible by walking along the main road.

We could not have been happier with our stay at Auchenheglish Luxury Lodges. Bonnie Banks Cottage was the perfect fit for us. It was extremely clean, comfortable, private, and we instantly felt at home from the moment we walked in. We all wished we had booked a longer stay because we loved it so much. It was in a beautiful location and provided a perfect home base for day trips. We spent a day exploring the highlands, a day in Edinburgh, and a day in St. Andrews. During our two week vacation, we stayed in over 7 different locations around the UK and Bonnie Banks Cottage blew all the others out of the water. If we ever are blessed to visit Scotland again, this will definitely be somewhere we return to and I recommend it without hesitation to others. I have said multiple times since staying at Bonnie Banks Cottage that I wish I could live there as my permanent house. It was perfect.

What a fantastic cottage, great to have as our base during our time in Scotland. Everything has been well considered and is very comfortable. May we suggest that some reading lamps be added in the lounge and that you consider adding towel rails and a toilet roll holder in each bathroom.

Overall we have stayed in worse properties but annoying small points make the stay less enjoyable than they should.
No markings on the oven controls, noted by former tenant three years ago, is this really safe. Do you know exactly what is happening in the oven?. Greasy roasting trays!
The information suggests two things, one that the cottage has a view of Loch Lomond, it does'nt! It is well surrounded by large trees and the walk to the loch is not to be undertaken lightly. As for calling in the Cruin, this is no longer a restaurant open to the public and if it was the woodland walk back after an evening meal would have only been tackled by the brave.
Finally the fact that all the televisions have to watch the same programme, due to only one Sky box is strange. The place is meant for 6 adults are they all expected to watch the same channel!
Did try to drop into the office but found note on door saying open 10.00- 2.00!
Enjoyed Scotland but would look for alternative accommodation next time.

The location of the property is excellent, relatively close to the loch, but not so easy to find path to the loch. The accomodation is spacious and well equipted, and the soft furnishings were comfortable with good dining area and good overall layout for family. Great having en suite in all bedrooms. The showers were great, but if you had a young family the lack of a bath may be a problem. Very good overall standard.
We had great weather so the outdoor facilities were well used. hardly ate inside at all. TV not really used but appeared to be ok

We loved our stay at Bonnie Banks Cottage. The cottage itself was great, lovely and modern interior. Fully fitted kitchen, bright lounge diner and big bedrooms upstairs with ensuites. It was a little tricky to locate it on arrival but we were pleased with the peaceful setting and nice garden surrounding it. We had a fantastic week in Scotland, the weather was amazing and the scenery was unforgettable. We will definitely return.

We had a very good short break in beautiful surrounds which we enjoyed very much despite some poor weather. Hopefully we can do it again soon. We were also there in January of this year and again had a great time hence the reason we went back. The accommodation was very good.

Excellent stay overall.
Only disappointment is that I was told that the house - as its name suggests - is on the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond - this is not the case, and is in fact in woodland. Fine weather saved the day, as if it had been raining it would have been quite a dark woodland spot.
That aside - we will be using it again! great cottage!

We booked Bonnie Banks Cottage as we were getting married at Duck Bay Marina and wanted to continue the celebrations on after the wedding for a long weekend. We need to say this accommodation was just perfect it was spotless customer service was amazing from booking Liz at the office was amazing and helpful. when we arrived we had a lovely welcome pack waiting for us and we happened to meet the manager Wendy she was just so helpful the accommodation was just amazing ideal for large parties for dinner kitchen was amazing and so roomy we managed to cook for our family and friends and we had some vsistors so had a nice meal for 10 everything was there for you it was great to work in a large kitchen. The rooms were just spotless and comfortable having one bedroom with en-suit on lower floor helped with my mother in-law as she had all she needed on lower floor. I would highly recommend this cottage and i will surely be using it again. thanks again to all who made our visit to the cottage special.

Nearly everything in this cottage is superb. Clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, bright, ideal for a group. Only three issues to note:- 1. The mattresses need updating. Ours was very hard and uncomfortable and was made in 2007, i.e. not in the first flush of youth. 2. The cottage appears geared up for guests eating ready meals. There were not enough cooking utensils. 3. It was almost impossible to read the control dials on the cooker. Despite these inconveniences, a fantastic place.

We would like to respond to the 3 issues you highlighted. a) We note that the firmness of the mattress was not to your preference and that you found it too firm. We fully understand not everyone prefers, or is comfortable with, a firm mattress. We received feedback earlier in 2016, from a prior guest at Bonniebanks, indicating that the mattress was too soft. b) Further to your issue around the supply of cooking utensils, we have conducted an inventory of utensils in the cottage and are confident that there is a plentiful supply of all the various utensils required for comprehensive self catering activities for at least 6 guests. We are sorry you were unable to locate all these items. We have alerted our housekeeping manager to your comments and asked that your comments and experience be taken on board and prevented from re occurring. It is vitally important to us that the cottage is fully fit for purpose . c) We agree that the cooker dials descriptions have rubbed off (due to cleaning); however there is a booklet in the kitchen drawer with full dial illustrations. We will create a laminated copy of this diagram and ensure that this is clearly displayed. We apologise for this inconvenience, and will address it as described above. Regards Management.

Absolutely beautiful cottage set within private grounds. Very peaceful and the perfect setting for a short spring break. With 2 teenagers to keep happy the cottage came up to scratch with Wi-fi and Sky TV. The quality of the interior was superb with very large kitchen and dining room and plenty of space to spread out. Worth going back to.

We got Bonny Banks cottage at last minute after accommodation we had booked 2 mths previous was cancelled day before arrival. Family coming from around UK for wedding .. one with baby. I was frantic! However I got Liz! and I got Bonny Banks cottage! The help I received and reassurance I was given were a real balm to my mother of the groom nerves! As for Bonny Banks Cottage...It was wonderful in every way.I could probably write a book telling how great it was. I'll just say, even allowing for the panic of our original cancellation, I am sooo very happy we found B B cottage! Thanks to everyone involved for a very happy stay. Clean comfortable spacious very well equipped. And thanks too to the other Liz who phoned after we left , leaving the keys in wrong place! She was very understanding. Yes girls. . you and B B cottage are a credit to Scottish tourism.

A fantastic cottage and a wonderful place to stay. Only two suggestions for improvements
1) The beds weren't quite to our taste - a bit soft and springy, and the pillows were a bit flat.
2) It would be good if the Sky package was multi-room, so people could watch different things in each room. Some of the bedrooms would benefit from a DVD player.

But these are just suggestions. We really enjoyed staying in the cottage. The standard and cleanliness was excellent, and we'd definitely stay again.

When we unlocked the door of this unassuming old house, we were blown away by the facilities. It has been beautifully redone with a bathroom for every bedroom, gorgeous kitchen with dishwasher, washer & dryer. We stayed 3 nights for a wedding at The Cruin and wished we could stay longer. This would be a great place for a week long family summer holiday, with the patio and gazebo. I had a couple of questions and the staff was most helpful. It was the most expensive of the various places we stayed on this trip, but also by far the nicest and on gorgeous Loch Lomond.

We recently had our second stay at Bonnie Banks cottage and again had such a great time, we just didn't want to leave.
3 nights is not long enough in this ideal location!
The cottage is an ideal base for exploring Loch Lomond and our kids particularly enjoy the walk along the 'secret path'.

My family and I often stay in comfortable self catering accommodation but I would say that this cottage is by far the best so far as it's very clean, comfortable and has a great garden for the kids to play. We really appreciated the welcome pack of wine, bread, butter and jam. And also all the cleaning products are there should you need to use the washing machine etc.

Looking forward to our next stay!

We traveled from Sterling to stay at Bonnie Banks. It was the perfect retreat for three weary sisters to recoup and head on for our next stop. We were close to many restaurants and tourist shops. My only suggestion would be instructions on working TV.

We stayed at Bonnie Banks Cottage for October half term to attend a family wedding at The Cruin. It exceeded my expectation. It was home from home with plenty of room for 6 adults to spread in order to get ready for the impending nuptials, having 3 en suite rooms. We loved the easy access to the cycle/pedestrian path and found Bonnie Banks perfectly situated for walking and sightseeing. We will be back without a shadow of doubt.

Our holiday at Bonnie Banks was wonderful in part due to a spacious well maintain cottage providing our home for ten days. The cottage was clean on arrival and during our stay all bedding and towels were changed.
As the accommodation was spacious and had a bedroom with ensuite on the ground floor is was perfect for my husband to who has mobility issues.
The location was central for travelling to see the beautiful scenery of Loch Lomomd and also to visit some of the lovely restaurants in and around Balloch.
Will return again soon.

Everything was perfect even though it rained for our whole stay. We booked Bonnie Banks to accommodate the Yorkshire contingent of our family at my niece's wedding. That meant finding accommodation with a downstairs enough-suite bedroom for my 86 year old mother, and large bedroom for my younger brother so a put-u-up bed could be included for my 4 year old nephew.

As it was the upstairs landing was roomy enough to erect the put-u-up bed the company supplied. So Harry got his own room and came into visit his early riser uncle each morning to watch cartoons on my Kindle. Leaving his parents, Kenton and Liz to have a lie in.

The wedding was on the Monday and was the same day as Harry's 4th birthday. Bonnie Banks provided the privacy for the family to gather and celebrate Harry's Birthday before going on to my niece's wedding. Claudine and Neil even interrupted their wedding reception to celebrate Harry's Birthday and the venue staff presented Harry with a Fire Engine birthday cake.

We had a very enjoyable week. Bonnie Banks was really comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The garden space was also great for the family. On arrival, we found that one of the bedrooms was locked. As I had booked a 3 bedroom property I wanted to be able to use all 3 bedrooms. This was sorted out quickly over the phone, but I feel more communication could have avoided such a phone call after a long journey. Also, it did not create a very good first impression and was at odds with the luxurious element of the advertising of the property. I was informed by the manager that only 2 rooms had been made up as there were 2 adults and 2 children. Due to the ages of my children I wanted them to have a bedroom each, and I would have booked a cheaper 2 bedroom property if I just wanted 2 bedrooms. Loch Lomond and the surrounding area was stunning, but we were not as close/easy to get to the Loch as we had anticipated, based on the information from the website.

Problem to find our lodge. A plan would be a good solution because we were like children for a treasure hunt and it took almost one hour to find our accommodation. With the rain, it was not pleasant.

Stayed in this special cottage over Christmas. All of the family loved it and we had a very special time. Attention to detail is amazing and appreciated. We arrived with our Christmas provisions and some decorations of our own. Bit of an embarrassing moment when my son inadvertently pack some lights belonging to the cottage thinking I'd brought them. I got in touch with Bonnie Banks staff who charged me for them and forgave me, I hope, for the inconvenience caused. All in, very helpful staff via correspondence (I didn't meet any of them). Beautiful cottage! I can't wait to stay in others on the estate. Thank you!

The Cottage provided perfect accommodation for our family to attend a wedding in Loch Lomond. It had a spacious and modern interior and the three ensuite bathrooms were a real bonus, A great place to stay and would highly recommend it. Faye, New Zealand

We stayed in this lodge as our daughter had her wedding in nearby Boturich Castle Venue. It was ideal for our needs over the weekend and also the other guests who stayed in the properties next door.
Held a post wedding BBQ on the Sunday and there was room for all.

Only downside to visit was the location which was not within easy walking distance of the Loch. Apart from that the stay was excellent and the area was well worth the visit. The starter pack was also very well thought out.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay. Only thing missing was basic instructions on how to operate TVs and heating. We had to ring our housekeeper twice to get advice on both these items.

This is a truly amazing cottage. We had a wonderful holiday. Myself with my husband and 2 children were able to explore Loch Lomond and surrounding areas from here. The location is perfect. The house is perfect. Our girls loved that they could arrive back after a day out and still have so much space to play both indoor and out. We as adults loved the peace and space to entertain as we had family around the area during the first weekend. The staff are more than accomodating, they go out of there way to ensure you have everything that you need. Staff were there to help throughout the booking and whilst we were there. Staff are friendly and helpful and very on the ball. We are already trying to arrange holidays to ensure that we can go back next year. This is very unlike us as each year we try somewhere different to explore as much as possible. We only wished that we had taken 2 weeks instead of one. I would reccomend this to anyone without any doubt.

So good we all want to come back next year and the staff especially Liz was so helpful. The house wa so roomy for 6 people and a bonus having a barbecue in April.

We had a lovely stay at Bonnie banks in April. Lovely accommodation with plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children. Only wish there had been a bath to relax in one evening! Hope to visit again.
