Ferrypoint House provides privacy and includes 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 6 people. This splendid contemporary house is carefully designed to a high standard with a 20 metre glass wall and fantastic views overlooking the water to the mountains of the Highlands beyond. Located on the boundary of Loch Lomond National Park and a 10 minute drive to Loch Lomond it is situated out on Rhu point on the edge of the conservation village of Rhu and next to the small seaside town of Helensburgh. Commanding views over the Gare Loch to the north and the River Clyde and Rhu Marina to the south it sits in 3 acres of gardens and can enjoy sunshine all day long from sunrise to sunset. The access is by a private driveway and electric gates. Rhu beach is 10 metres from our gate and forms a lovely half-moon bay where you can swim and enjoy water sports.

Fabulous location and excellent quality furnishings. Spotlessly clean with everything you could want or need!
We just loved being surrounded by water and the beautiful mountain views!
We were so handy for Helensburgh which has a wonderful selection of Restaurants and wonderful things to do, but equally great to leave the car behind occasionally and take the train to Glasgow or Edinburgh or even further afield if you have the time. (Oban was wonderful and we just sat back and enjoyed the ride and the views).
The owner has gone over and above the call of duty with every little extra that comes with the property.
Great personal and attentive service when booking with Liz (who is one in a million) to the very thoughtful treats to welcome us on arrival.
We will definitely be back, we had the most exciting time and the weather was not an issue at all. See you again soon ! x

Wonderful break in a beautiful house. Location amazing. Very comfortable, lovely welcome pack. Graham & Liz were both very welcoming and helpful. We are very keen to return!

This was my fourth stay at Ferrypoint, and as always it was perfect. Graham and Liz couldn’t do enough for you, the accommodation is beautiful they have thought of everything, the projectors with the stars are a lovely touch at night There were 5 of us staying and everyone of the girls loved the place and the views are stunning, nobody wanted to leave. Can’t wait to return, thanks again.

Ferrypoint is amazing, a truely gorgeous place to stay. Beautiful view, comfortable beds, generous accommodation, everything you could possibly need for a peaceful Scottish holiday. The property was everything I have come to expect from Auchenheglish luxury Lodges. This is the 4th property we have rented. The Cameron Spa was an added luxury which we made full use of and I would like to thank Graham for this. This was the extra icing on the cake for us. Wonderful stay at ferrypoint only regret we couldn’t stay longer.
Lovely location met by owner Graham who gave us lots of tips, enjoyed spa at Cameron Thermal Spa and the local Rhu inn which came recommended by Graham which was a very short walk, served delicious evening meal. Look forward to returning in the future.

Lovely relaxing holiday in a beautiful house in a great location. The house is very comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed and more. We booked very last minute and the company, as well as the property owners were very helpful. The property was lovely, and spotless. The views were incredible, and the owner even put in a started pack with milk/bread etc which was really good of him.
Would definitely return to this house and recommend to friends and family.

We booked ferrypoint for a weekend away with friends and it was perfect!
The house was amazing, so clean,tidy and handy for a walks along the beach and also into Helensburgh (about 40 min)
The house itself was gorgeous, very spacious, all amenities and wall to wall windows of the most amazing views!
Graeme the host was very helpful with accessing the property and giving recommendations.
Icing on the cake was having access to Carrick Spa.
We are already talking about planning our next visit.
Thanks for the great find and whoever books next will love it as much as we did.

My husband, mum and I spent three days at Ferrypoint in December 2023 and were blown away by the vast views of the loch which, with a full wall of windows, is truly awe-inspiring and rather hypnotic. We were also blessed with lovely sunshine on our arrival which set the scene beautifully.
We massively appreciated the early check in which was accommodated to allow us to settle in before the winter darkness, so helpful when travelling with an elderly person.
The house is incredibly comfortable, beautifully decorated with a kitchen/s which provide everything you could possibly need, including a very thoughtful welcome gift of bread, milk, butter, fruit, wine and beer. Thank you.
There is a wonderful downstairs bedroom en suite, again ideal if you are travelling with an older person.
The bedrooms were all extremely comfortable, although the shower pressure upstairs could possibly benefit from some attention.
We loved our visit and found the entire team to be extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating.

The house location was fantastic, in a secluded point with views of the water on both sides. The house is very very well designed and can be split into 2 with separate kitchens me bathrooms or the whole house. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay and lots of space, light and a tree areas to chill out. Graeme and Liz were fabulous hosts and personally on hand to help with anything we needed. Apple Maps/Google maps takes you past the turn off but our hosts were on hand for everything.
Will definitely stay again after a fabulous long weekend.
