A very well equipped, warm, comfortable cottage overlooking beautiful countryside with enclosed garden and hot tub. There is a large field with no animals in it for walking dogs, a warm swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, changing rooms and showers. Also a games room, EV charging point, and a limited on site shop.

An amazing six week stay in Teal Cottage while we had some home improvements done to our house. It was absolutely fabulous and exceeded our expectations.

We managed to take my son into the hydrotherapy pool for the first time in twelve years since first having his tracheostomy! He enjoyed it and felt very relaxed!

This was third stay in Teal so we knew what to expect-high standards all round .Everything is thought of for a self catering holiday plus a very generous welcome pack of butter, milk local bread apple juice beer and bottle of wine. For us the bath in the wet room (which my daughter has never used) proves to be an obstacle in getting into and turning in the bathroom. The door from the hall is impeded by the bath creating a pinch point
Also if there was a holst into the hot tub our daughter could have accessed it This is made up for by the swimming pool which is completely accessible and whicb our daughter enjoyed using.. The gravel on the car park makes it tricky for my daughters electric chair to drive on to get from the car onto the accommodation.
Not withstanding, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Teal and we won't be hesitating in booking a return stay

Unfortunately disappointed by the lounge furniture. We put the blankets in the bedrooms over the chairs and did not use one of them as it was not very nice at all.

Hot tub and beds were great and fire and kitchen !

Shame that one thing was an issue for our comfort.

We would like to try another cottage.

We booked Teal for 4 nights inOctober half term.

The information before our arrival was clear and helpful and we were very pleased with the telephone booking arrangements, useful advice and information given .

We used the Farmhouse kitchen catering for our first night which was delicious.

The pool, games room and large field were used and much enjoyed particularly by our grandchildren .

The equipment at the cottage was faultless. Departure at 9.00 am May seem slightly early to some but suited our family party.

Thank you for a great few days.

We had a lovely stay with my family including my dad who is disabled and in a wheelchair. It was great that we could borrow the right equipment we needed to help him during our time there.

The only negatives were the uncomfortable sofas for the rest of us, and the decor need a bit of love to make such a large room feel cosier but overall we had an enjoyable stay. The hot tub, pool and view for the house were highlights

As our son is in a wheelchair and needs a hospital bed and help from carers to get up and ready in the mornings, it is very useful to find a holiday property where this can be arranged. To have that property with the very high standards that we find at Wallops Wood is wonderful! It has provided us with a place where the whole family can spend special times together!

Facilities are really good. Excellent games room which we missed the first time.
Food is fantastic, would certainly recommend the Lasagne and Fish Pie.

This was our third visit to Wallops Wood. Again we found everything as expected. Fantastic that we can have the use of the much needed equipment we requested, and absolutely no problems with the profiling bed we'd ordered from Solent Mobility - it was there, beautifully made up, and waiting for us on arrival. For the first time we bought some of the prepared dishes - both the vegetarian and meat lasagnes on different nights, and thoroughly recommend them! The meals for four were ample, and in fact one fed five with additional salads! I had wondered how it would be to have pre-arranged hour slots to swim, but in fact this worked really well, and meant we didn't need to be concerned in case the children's rather boisterous play annoyed others! We look forward to our next visit (already arranged!).

Wallops Wood was outstanding. We have a son in wheelchair and the wheelchair accessible facilities are amazing. The pool is an added bonus. The staff are incredibly helpful and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. We have done a lot of traveling with our son and this is without doubt the best accommodation we have ever had.

We recently stayed in teal, for my birthday celebration, we have never stayed anywhere so clean, loverly place , the games room was amazing and the pool.
My husband is a wheelchair user and for him it was perfect they have thought of everything here. It’s the ideal place for a break away.
The staff on site everyday were all friendly.
We had a great time. Thankyou wallops wood. We will be back for sure.

This was our second visit and delighted to find the standards of cleanliness and all the facilities were just as high.
Five female friends enjoying the wonderful pool, hot tub and ready made meals.
Lovely walks from the front door.
Cosy, well equipped accommodation in which we could relax and escape the pressures of our busy lives.
We will return next year.

Just had yet another lovely refreshing break at Wallops Wood (our 3rd time).
This time, we stayed in Teal cottage. 5 adults; enjoyed the peace and quiet yet lovely rural setting and views - we watched a farmer at work in the distance with his tractor and enjoyed lots of beautiful sunsets. Soooo relaxing!
We had our 2 poodles with us and they thoroughly enjoyed the walks we followed - Wallops Wood provide details of quite a selection of dog walks and we followed a few of them to the letter (or should that be pub!).
We'd taken our garden badminton set with us and had such fun playing in Teal's back garden which is a brilliant size and has 2 gates; one out onto the field behind where we could short-walk and play with the dogs daily and one to the side which was ideal for taking the dogs out and about.
The games room is a must - we loved the air hockey, table tennis and pool, even if the ping-pong ball wanted to enjoy the children's wendy house on occasion - a good excuse to relive my childhood in entering the wendy house to retrieve the ball!!
As usual, the swimming pool and hot tub were fantastic and we swam every day. We even tried the sauna!
The welcome hampers for both us and our dogs were very welcome, especially as my son-in-law arrived first before we did with the groceries, so he was able to make himself at home straight away with a lovely cuppa and a bite to eat.
We were so sad that our week was up too soon for our liking but we'll be booking again next year :)

An extremely well kitted out lodge with top notch kitchen equipment including nespresso machine and supply of pods,likewise washing machine and dishwasher with supply of powder and tablets.. Very clean and Furniture is modern and comfortable.Very spacious so ample room for our wheelchair user daughter to get around.Only exception was our daughters bathroom used as wet room using shower so the bath made it more tricky to manoeuvre around the room. Katherine the owner was very welcoming and provided a lovely welcome pack which included a bottle of local beer brewed a few hundred yards away. Before leaving we visited to buy bottles to bring home. A lovely holiday and we are already looking to book a return for next year.

The accommodation itself is accessible for me being a wheelchair user., it’s spacious and clear. The swimming pool is a godsend for those with disabilities, its easily accessible, has a hoist and steps into the pool and it’s warm.. I’d recommend Wallops Wood to anyone

Right from the first visit to your website I knew this was going to tick the boxes we so desperately search for when booking a holiday with our complex needs child. A virtual tour, a floor plan, a massively comprehensive itinerary, so many photos etc. The real thing certainly didn’t disappoint. You’ve thought of so much to help make the stay easy and comfortable, right down to knowing what we’re going to eat when we arrive! Finally a holiday where we’ve all truly be able to rest and relax. Arrived early evening on an extremely hot day.We let ourselves in using the key safe,.There was a note left inside asking us to make ourselves at home and someone would check by later, which never happened.The fridge was not switch on, so the milk , butter, wine and lemonade was not chilled .The butter was liquid form and made a mess in the fridge.Looking through the manuals, the fridge was different to the instructions in user manual.Took 3 hours to chill the fridge, the freezer did not freeze until the following day, so had to replace food we took, at the local Sainsbury’s 10 miles away!.The lodge was extremely hot, although the fans in each bedroom were appreciated.Teal is for disabled access, my son has profound physical disability, so was annoyed that another car had Park right outside on arriving, making it difficult to unload.We also had problems arriving back after a day out as visitors would put up a blue badge ,hence we were left with no disabled parking space.The large shingle car park was very wheelchair unfriendly!,The pool hoist in the pool area was difficult to use getting out of the pool, so only used once.
In the user manual the only contact number was for the owner of the property,to use in an emergency.
I think Wallops wood needs to have a general contact number for the issues we had experienced.Also the disabled parking space outside the Teal Lodge should have a notice up stating allocation for Teal Lodge only, to avoid visitors using it.I also think it would be useful to state how deep the pool is for disabled people , who require support in the pool.The promotion photos show very young children,so was expecting a shallow end, but it was around 5feet deep full length of pool, which was disappointing as I am not very tall , so could not support my disabled son.Communication was non existent.The lodge was very comfortable and had plenty of space inside.The garden had spectacular views across the downs.The hot tub was too hot and advised not to change the temperature.I would recommend the property, but would also advise about the pool and parking problems

Thank you for your review. You were here for a full week so we don’t understand why you didn’t let us know about any problems while you were here rather than make complaints in a review. We waited for you on the evening of your arrival, and called you, but there was no reply so we left a voice message on your mobile number. The hoist was difficult to use? You should have let us know during your stay and we would have been more than happy to help you. The depth of the swimming pool is clearly stated on our website. Parking is not allocated as there are several disabled parking spaces, all with access to a paved area for wheelchair users. We do not advise against changing the temperature of the hot tubs. The fridge wasn’t working? A few months ago a similar thing happened and we replaced the spoiled food for the guest. We would have done the same for you if you had let us know. You say that communication was non-existent and that works both ways. It’s such a shame you did not use the contact numbers listed in the welcome sheets and in the guest information folder in Teal. A sensible thing to have done would have been to call our office. Our friendly team would have been able to help with several of the issues raised above. But we are glad you found Teal to be very comfortable and spacious and enjoyed the spectacular views. We wish you all the best for the future.

This was our 6th holiday at Wallops wood Cottages. We were a four generation family ages ranging from 2 to 91 years. Something for everyone to keep them entertained from the games room, fantastic swimming pool with sole use of the pool for your 45 minute chosen slot, the private hot tub and beautiful views overlooking the South Downs. The disabled facilities are amazing. My husband is permanently in a wheelchair and it was like home from home. Little touches like home made cake, milk butter bread tea coffee wine and a bottle of Wallops wood beer on arrival make it extra special. We will definitely be returning again.

Stayed here for a short break. We were very impressed with the bright and airy accommodation and overall high standards. Great facilities for children, including toy baskets, games room and pool. The pool and games room together with the hot tub give adults plenty of options for relaxation too.

We recently had a stay in Teal Cottage at Wallops Wood. We were very impressed with the attention and service we received from start to finish. My daughter needed different equipment from what I requested and they sorted it all out very efficiently. My dog also received 5* treatment with a dog bed, bowls, toy and treats waiting for him. The fridge was stocked with juice, cake, butter, amazing bread, wine, milk ... etc which was really appreciated. We had a lovely relaxing few days enjoying the view over fields and was also blessed with sunshine too. Thoroughly recommend!

We booked two adjacent cottages to accommodate 11 of us including a baby. We had a wonderful time celebrating my wife's 70th birthday. My sons were allowed in a little earlier than the check-in time to put birthday decorations up which was kind of the owner. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and spacious, the hot tub was great fun and the swimming pool fabulous. The location is a little remote so you do need a car. We had just two minor observations. The boiler in one of the cottages was noisy at 6.30 in the morning (under investigation by owner) and the extended table was not long enough to seat all our party comfortably so we used the table from the other cottage to make one long one. All in all we had a fabulous time.

Teal cottage is perfect for our family, my daughter is severely disabled this accommodation is fully accessible, my daughters bedroom had a nice size wet room which included a shower & bath, we use a local company all details provided by Wallops Wood to hire a profiling bed & mobile hoist for our stay and the staff at Wallops Wood will remove anything in the room to give you more space if needed. There is an indoor heated pool literally a stones throw from Teal Cottage which also has a hoist poolside there is changing rooms with a disabled changing room with a shower easily accessible, again Wallops Wood staff were so helpful with accommodating my daughter by raising the pool temperature slightly and making sure the coloured lights were on in the pool for my daughter to have a lovely sensory experience which she thoroughly enjoyed! The whole family including our 2 doggies are made to feel welcome as soon as you arrive, on entering Teal Cottage the first thing you feel is how homely it is, they provide a few essentials milk butter some beverages wine and our family favourites homemade jam sponge and locally fresh baked bread both gorgeous very rarely lasts long! The cleaning is to a high standard all 3 bedrooms are very comfortable all have on suite shower rooms, the lounge area is comfortable offering stunning views from the french door windows we have often watched some beautiful sunsets! The garden area is partly grass & patio with garden furniture & a lovely hot tub there is a gate in your garden area which leads to a huge grassed area perfect for children to run around safely. Last but not least doggies are well provided for dog beds blankets towels food bowls toys treats and even dog tags to use with the address of your cottage so well thought of ! To sum up our holidays at Teal are always amazing we love it we always come home relaxed and refreshed and always book again before we leave, the staff are incredible so friendly & helpful makes our stay perfect!

This was our first stay and we were very impressed. We chose Wallops Wood because we needed accessible accomodation for my elderly parents and the luxury of an accessible swimming pool was wonderful.
The lodge was clean, spacious and equipped with quality kitchenwear etc.. We had everything we needed and also borrowed some equipment such as perching stool and wheelchair which was so helpful.
The seating in the lodge was well thought out with a riser / recliner chair which was ideal.
Thankyou to the owners for their thoughtful, stylish accomodation - it would be a very good stay for those with and without reduced mobility.
The view out of the window and hot tub for the evenings were both wonderful bonuses and we would happily return again.

This was our second visit to wallops Wood teal was wonderful all that we needed every thing you needed for the disabled the staff were wonderful very helpful and kind.on Monday we moved to Hedgehunter family came down from Yorkshire we had not seen them since 2019 it was just great we have booked again for next year

We stayed at Wallops Wood two years ago, and we were so delighted to be able to return for another holiday. I group of us rented two adjoining cottages. As we remembered from our first stay, the cottages were VERY clean, well appointed and comfortable. We particularly appreciated the hot tubs, and the ability to book times in the pool (quite a few of our group are keen swimmers). The sunsets were beautiful, particularly from the hot tub with a glass of bubbly (the plastic champagne glasses for the hot tub are an excellent touch!).
The local pub the Hampshire Bowman is defintely worth a visit. It's a drive away but excellent food and drink (and the driver can get some of the wonderful cider selection to take home, if they wish!).
Our one suggestion is that the hobs in the cottages are not very good, taking ages to heat and difficult to control. Everything else was lovely, with well-appointed kitchens, big tables able to seat us all together, attentive and friendly staff, and a beautiful outlook.
We are already booking again for next year!

We had a great holiday at Wallops Wood. The cottage was spotless and the facilities were fantastic. So many small details that added up to a great stay e.g. the welcome pack, age-targeted toys for the children, beautifully landscaped garden and lovely swimming pool.

The staff we engaged with were very helpful and the food we'd ordered was delicious.

Our stay at Teal was perfect; really relaxing beautiful views, but more importantly wheelchair friendly, my daughter is severely disabled and to find a holiday home that suits her needs is difficult, the Wallops Wood staff provide numbers of places to hire equipment we needed a profile bed & hoist which we hired from Solent Mobility great service from them! Teal has a wet room which was a huge benefit, for us the use of the pool was priceless my daughter loved it she had a lovely time and your able to have sole use of this at a time you choose! From the time you walk through the door you feel at home spotlessly clean & comfortable they even make your doggies comfortable providing beds toys treats and towels ready for long walks! Also you can order a homemade meal to be there for you at an additional cost which is lovely ! Also your provided with homemade cake, Milk, butter,wine, cider, tea and coffee they really make you feel welcome x thank you to all the lovely staff at Wallops Wood you made our holiday special !

Teal was ideal for us as my husband is disabled and I was so grateful to be able to borrow grab rails, shower stool, bed rail, raised toilet seat and frame saving a lot of packing. The welcome pack was so generous and we enjoyed the wine, apple juice, sponge cake within minutes of arriving as we sat in the lovely garden looking out to splendid views as far as the Isle of Wight. The cupboard and fridge were also stocked with essential items which were all gladly received. We did miss the usual leaflets stocked in holiday houses i.e. local information, ideas of where to visit, eat etc as well as instructions for using the appliances, but I understand this was due to the current situation with Covid. Our only drawback was the low bed as my husband couldn't manage to get up independently. In hindsight I should have asked the owner if the bed could have been raised but didn't think of it at the time!
Overall we really enjoyed out time in Teal, and I made good use of the hot tub and swimming pool. Many thanks!

Beautiful setting, stunning cottages, perfect break for the whole family from age 3 to 93! Such particular attention to detail, everything is so carefully thought through to ensure you have a great time and have everything you need. Comfy bedding, immaculately clean, we loved the hot tub and pool, gorgeous meadow, views and walks. We felt totally reassured that all Covid prevention measures were in place. We have always found that the cottages are cleaned and maintained to a very high standard anyway and contain everything you could possibly need and more!
The views from the cottages over the fields are wonderful and we really appreciated the dog walk maps that were provided together with the special treats & toy for Buddy.
Just such a totally relaxing break, thank you. Looking forward to our next visit

This was our first break at wallops but certainly won't be the last. The cottage was very clean and warm. The fire place was a welcome addition and all the rooms were airy and felt safe in the current climate. The swimming pool and hot tub were easily accessible and could be used even with the cooler evenings. There are lots of walks and a big open area for the dog to run around. The cottage was ideal for disable access as it was on one floor with wide spaces for wheel chair access.

My stay Teal at Wallops Wood was amazing, with such amazing views, excellent facilities, great peace and quiet in very comfortable accommodation. The team were so helpful and welcoming and nothing was an issue.

The indoor hot tub and pool was great, I just wished there was a hoist to get in to the hot tub for me at the cottage so I could gaze at the stars at night, from the hot tub.

We had the most wonderful time at Wallops Wood Cottages. We stayed in 'Teal' which was perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 young children).

Each room had an enquire and the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows.

The main space was huge and the kitchen well equipped.

We loved the wood burner and appreciate that it had been preloaded ready to light.

The cottage was very clean and we were delighted to see some provisions left for us too, including a nice bottle of red wine.

The hot tub was absolutely gorgeous. Clean and a perfect hot temperature. We even went in during a windy cold day and it was pure bliss.

The communal pool was clean and spacious. We loved having it to ourselves for the 45 minute slot allocated to each cottage per day.

We will be back again when we can.

When I walked into Teal my immediate reaction was Wow we had a spacious clean and comfortable cottage.The equipment I needed was there, my husband is in a wheelchair, and on looking round there was everything we required. We had a wonderful holiday. It was so peaceful just sitting in the garden looking across the field The swimming pool was good with a booking system which ment we had the pool to ourselves, that was nice. The hot tub was gorgeous. There were so many things to do in the area. We went on a couple of walks and went to Portsmouth. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Teal Cottage at Wallops Wood Droxford was immaculately presented and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed using the barbecue, hot tub and swimming pool. Our week away was thoroughly appreciated by all . The surrounding countryside and beautiful views made for a very relaxing time.

The welcome pack was excellent as was the meal ready for us to pop in the oven. Accommodation very spacious and views from the lounge and garden were to die for. The children loved the meadow to play in and of course the swimming pool. We thought having sole use of the pool for a certain time each day was an excellent idea. The hot tub was well and truly used.
Downside, not all facilities were in use and the cottage was without its homely scatter cushions and throws. Perhaps the rental fee should have been reduced because of this.

We stayed in Teal with my daughter who is severely disabled, It was so easy to use the wheelchair within this property and easy access to the garden! The wet room is a good size as are all the rooms! The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and kindly stocked with a couple of essentials to get you started including fresh bread & a yummy cake! The shared indoor pool was gorgeous Also has a hoist poolside! Lots of walks nearby, again with stunning scenery. It really is a wonderful place to relax, lots of places to visit within easy reach!

My husband, myself and disabled daughter have just spent a week at Teal cottage. We had a wonderful time there and will definitely return. The accommodation is very comfortable with everything that one could need. The pool and hot tub lived up to our expectations as we were able to easily use the chair hoist to get our daughter into the pool. The owners and staff are beyond helpful without being obtrusive. A lovely location with lots of information on walks, cycle routes and local attractions. For us there were no negatives. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to others .

Booked by my sister for a big family get together, we occupied three cottages between us. We were in Teal as my brother-in-law is severely disabled and this cottage was suitable for his needs.

Teal was light and airy with plenty of space. Each bedroom having an en suite was very useful. The kitchen was beautifully equipped with everything we needed including a Nespresso coffee machine. The welcome pack including a delicious cake was a lovely touch. The hot tub was highly enjoyable and the indoor pool with its jacuzzi and sauna was excellent. Everything was spotlessly clean. The only disappointment was that the games room was advertised months ago as being ready by the time of our visit. We had some very wet weather so it would have been ideal for the children to have had extra space to play. I did ask if they could use it, but was told no. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend Teal as a wonderful place for a relaxing break.

Dear Mrs Kabi Thank you for your lovely review, so glad that your brother-in-law was comfortable in Teal cottage, our accessible cottage. We understood early on when building the cottages that individual bathrooms were very important. We always try to make guests welcome when they arrive and throughout their stay, the welcome basket is part of that . Our games room/event room is not completed and indeed we do share our update on social media of the build progress but we have not opened the room yet as it is not finished. As a small family business we aim to have different facilities for our guests' enjoyment year after year, some take longer to build then others. We have a new sauna that we launched one month ago. We could not have children enter the room yet as it is still being decorated and therefore would not be able to ensure their health and safety. The games room /event room will be launched soon and we always confirm new facilities on our newsletter and on social media. We thank you for your visit to Wallops Wood Cottages. Very noisy builders till we complained,then it quitened down.Swimming pool not good for us with having a disabled person,with us.Pool was too deep and has no shallow area,and was very cold..Area was very nice,easy access to coast within a short distance to drive.Parking at Teal was a problem as other people ,decided that it was meant for them and not for people stopping at Teal who needed to be parked there,due to having a wheelchair user.Privacy was not great either all sorts of people walking by and looking in,.All in all would not stop there again ,disappointed at the cost we paid and the problems we had.

I’m sorry that the pool was not to your preference in terms of depth - everyone has different requirements and we thought hard when planning the pool to try and accommodate most users, including the installation of the hoist to serve the pool and jacuzzi. We would have been very happy to have warmed up the pool for you if we had known; it is kept at just over 30 deg. centigrade and we have increased this for other disabled guests on request. Likewise we would have been happy to ask the other guests to keep the disabled parking space adjacent to Teal free and I am again sorry that we did not realise that this was happening. It is fair to say that Teal is adjacent to the car-park, and one bedroom overlooks it, but the other 2 bedrooms overlook the garden and views of the valley, as does the lounge area which does remain private. We regret that you haven’t felt that you haven’t able to discuss these issues during your stay as we could have rectified some of them fairly easily. We stayed as 2 families over the recent bank holiday. Our cottage Teal was absolutely brilliant. It had a very modern layout with open plan living kitchen space. This was perfect when we all got together for dinner one night and cooked breakfast the next morning. The welcome pack was better than we could have imagined especially the home cooked cake.
The cottage had all we could have wished for and the views were amazing. The hot top was a great hit especially for those who had never used one before and the swimming pool was an added bonus.
We will definitely be returning.

We stayed at 2 of the cottages in Wallops Wood and thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. Each was beautifully presented and the staff could not have been more helpful. Loved the little touches of the superb Victoria sponge and beer on arrival and my little boys were delighted when a box of toys and books were delivered to help keep them amused! Definitely recommend staying there to anyone interested in a welcome break!

This is a fabulous cottage for our family wheelchair user. It’s spacious, warm, and comfortable. We pre-book various pieces of equipment so that we don’t have to bring lots of mobility things with us.
We had a Waitrose food delivery when we arrived and found all the utensils we needed in the kitchen. The room has a lovely view beyond the garden over fields - and the lurcher loved looking for rabbits!

Our second stay in Teal Cottage as my dad is disabled and the cottage is ideal for him. My dad requires a profile bed, wallops Wood staff gave me the details of a local Mobility Shop. It was very easy to arrange and they liaise with Wallops Wood to arrange delivery. The bed was set up and ready when we arrived. From booking to leaving the staff could not have been more helpful. Any questions I had were answered. We had a couple of problems but these were dealt with quickly. The cottages and area are emaculate and well looked after. Very much looking forward to returning for another holiday.

It's always a pleasure to stay at Wallops Wood Cottages. This is our 4th visit with friends and our 2nd this year. Teal cottage is very comfortable and everything you need and more is provided to make your stay just perfect. It's a great cottage for me, as it also caters for my needs as a disabled person.

Had a nice stay at Teal unfortunately it was the worst weather week of the year,so we will return next year hopefully the sun will shine.We only live 25 minutes away Fareham,but as my husband is an invalid it ideal when you advertise as disabled it truly is so thanks for a lovely stay.

Excellent facilities and staff support when we found the bed in the room attached to the wet room wasn’t high enough for my mother to get out of. We did have to do a little furniture removal ourselves on the first night after staff had assisted putting raisers under the bed legs and it still wasn’t high enough, however, they gladly came the next day to put everything in order with no objections to our Mr Shiftit operation the day before. Pool, hot tubs, dog welcome and views are awesome. Cottage extremely well equipped with good quality fixtures, fittings, kitchen amenities etc. Slight comment which may not be within the power of Wallops Wood to rectify, but several of the dog walks recommended go down the side of a large estate nearly opposite the entrance to the cottages. I guess this has been rerouted at some time and the narrow path was totally overgrown and inaccessible. We did manage a walk but had to climb fences and lift our dog over into a field which runs alongside the path. Are the neighbours amenable to a gentle word or is it purposely left overgrown to discourage walkers near their property? This is a miner issue, and if that’s worthy of comment you can tell the stay in general was pretty darn good.

Hello Mrs Jacques - very please you found our customer service helpful. We do try to arrange everything before our guest arrive, hence the communications we send prior to arrival for all our accessibility guests. The paths are public byways and pathways and are unfortunately not our remit but we did speak to the National Parks rangers and they have cleared some of the paths with their volunteers. They explained that because they have such a vast area to look after, they have certain schedules they keep to, but they were very happy to come and clear some of the paths nearer to us. This is was our 3rd stay in Teal Cottage, because we like it so much. The first time we went my friends couldn't beleive how spacious it was. The first word to come to mind was Wow. I have Primary Progressive MS and find this cottage very disabled friendly. The cottage is excellent and very comfortable. They also provide Tea, coffee, sugar, bread, butter and a home made sponge, which is lovely. If you have a dog they have a welcoming basket including treats, which my friend's dog enjoys. Liz in customer services is excellent too and nothing is any trouble. They now have a swimmining pool which we hope to use on our next visit. We would recommend Wallops Wood Cottages 100%.

We returned because the cottage is very accessible for our wheelchair user, plus the availability of mobility equipment is very convenient. The cottage has everything we need, we like to eat in and all the kitchen utensils you need are there. Brilliant to be able to take dogs, and for them to get their own hamper of goodies! Peaceful, lovely views, we woke to the sound of pheasants in the mornings. A lovely break.

Our 5th visit to Wallops Wood, they are great for a winter break with their under floor heating and cosy log burners and there is nothing better on a cold day than sitting in your private hot tub soaking in the wonderful views! There are numerous lovely walks from your doorstep all culminating in lunch in one of the many dog friendly pubs in the area, warm welcome and great food; The Bakers Arms Droxford, The Shoe Exton, The Bucks Head Meonstoke, White Lion Soberton and The Hurdles Brocksbridge. are all in walking distance. We visited Winchester, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, Thruxton Karting, Marlow Zoo and Aquadrome on a rainy day. But our favourite pastime is definitely walking in the lovely South Downs! Looking forward to seeing the new swimming pool on our next visit!

We stayed at the cottages to have a completely chilled weekend as a big group. We were looking for somewhere to enjoy walks with our dogs and local days out during the day. In the evening we were looking for somewhere that was suitable to host all of us together for dinner and drinks, (there was about 21 of us in total). The cottages were perfect this; brilliantly laid out and we had a big table that could seat everyone put into the largest of the cottages. Everyone enjoyed the weekend and we would recommend the accommodation to others.

Our 4th stay at this excellent collection of cottages. The cottages are spacious, clean, well equipped and each bedroom has its own en-suite which is a real bonus. The hot tub is a real asset with lovely views over the valley and the garden is fully enclosed so safe for the dogs. The dog hamper is amazing and the information file is really comprehensive, the section on dog friendly places to eat and attractions to visit is really helpful when planning a day out. We really enjoy all the lovely walks from the doorstep and all pubs that are within walking distance, particularly Bakers Arms Droxford, White Lion Soberton, The Buck Head Meonstoke and The Shoe Exton. The Meon Valley is really lovely and there's a lot to do in the area and the cottages are suitable for everyone families, dogs, groups of friends or the elderly. We would highly recommend and I am sure we will back soon for another stay!

Family of 3 including a powered wheelchair user and assistance dog. Looking for an accessible place to stay in Hampshire, an area we haven't explored before. Wallops Wood was found! Stayed in Teal: parking right outside, HUGE amount of space inside as open planned, all bedrooms have en-suites, one bedroom has a walk in shower. Tellys in all bedrooms a bonus! Relaxing, private and enclosed garden, safe and a happy dog!

Quick note to say you rent and pay separately for an electric bed. No rails in accessible bathroom. Ask Wallops Wood what equipment they have.

LOTS to do nearby including amenities and supermarkets. Wallops Wood offer delivery from supermarkets and meals. We visited Portsmouth, SUPERB time at Royal Navy museum! Portsmouth good for shopping. Jaunted to Petersfield and Droxford. Both pleasant.

Planning to visit again. So much more to do!

A second visit to Wallops Wood. I am a spinal injured wheelchair user. This is the best place my family have at in the U.K. Nice wide door into the property. Large wet room with wheel in shower. Manueverabillty good within the property. They are building a swimming pool for next year. Please make sure there is a hoist for access in and out of the pool.

Teal cottage was fabulous. It was well equipped for both us and our dog. The cottage is centrally located so that you can explore the sights of Hampshire but it also offers lovely walks around the area if you don't fancy travelling far. The welcome pack that was provided has all the essentials and a few lovely extras such as a bottle of wine and a yummy home made cake. The dog also received a welcome pack of treats and toys. we would certainly stay here again.

This is the third time that we have stayed at Wallops Wood and have has yet another brilliant time. You want for nothing at the cottage and Liz and Catherine are always so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The views from the cottage are fantastic and my granddaughter loves running in the big field and doing treasure hunts. Cottage ideal for able bodied and disabled people alike. Had an absolutely wonderful stay with friends in Teal Cottage. Everything at the cottage was of a very high standard, very clean and comfortable. It felt very much Home from Home. The Patio area with table and chairs, Bar-be-cue and Hot Tub was excellent too, along with the beautiful views.
As an extra treat a lovely Hamper was provided, and their was one for our four legged friend as well. As a disabled person, this was my first time of using an accessible cottage, the disability aids i requested were provided in each room and made everything so much easier and enjoyable. Many thanks to Liz in Customer Services for organising everything.....a Super Star!
My friends and I were so impressed with Teal Cottage we are already talking about our return visit!

Having stayed at three of the cottages at Wallops Wood and also at the bungalow, I have to say that Teal is my favourite. I don't
quite know why as they're all superb! Strangely, all my visitors have felt the same. Perhaps it's because it's on a corner and has

We first visited the cottage last year and found it not only to be of very high quality, with all the cutlery, crockery, cooking and cleaning equipment we needed, but also extremely accessible for a wheelchair user. The double room has an ensuite that is very spacious for manoeuvring the wheelchair and the provision of extra equipment, spotlessly clean and waiting for us on arrival, reduced some of the concerns about going away from home. Customer service is top class, nothing is too much trouble at all. We had no hesitation in returning for a second trip, this time for longer.

The 'dog hamper' and the extensive information on local walks was a real asset and the best we have come across in any
self catering establishment. The cottages are spacious, very clean, well equipped, with beautiful views and excellent hot tubs.
The Meon Valley itself is a really lovely area with lots of excellent walking, lovely places to eat and lots to see in the area.

I celebrated my 62nd birthday with my husband in the most beautiful surrounds and cottage. It has everything we needed to make both mine and Robins break a success. My husband Robin has a disablity and Wallops Wood brought in a number of items to help my husband move around and use all the facilities available.

All the rooms were an excellent size and there was plenty of room for a wheelchair. Thank you all

I recently spent an enjoyable week at Wallops Wood. I am a T12 paraplegic wheelchair user & having tried numerous disabled holidays in the UK found this suited my needs best of all.
Nice wide doors, easy transfers on to bed, large bath/shower room. Couple of things ( not critisisms) that would help would be drop down rails around the toilet and found the floors quite slippery when transferring, however with the latter putting the non slip mats provided down overcame this problem.
My wife & daughter enjoyed the hot tub & Poppy the collie loved the garden. Lovely quiet location with super views. Thanks also for the goodies on arrival.
Hope to visit again next year.

The cake was delicious and the really nice touch of leaving fresh bread, butter and other necessities was really good after a long journey. Nothing nicer than to enjoy a drink and then relax in the hot tub in your own little garden and just enjoy the peace and the superb view. We shall be there again.

Myself and my wife had a short break in teal cottage. We found the cottage more than just a home away from home, as my wife develop quite a list of features that she wants to incorporate in our own home. The cottage is largely open plan in design and is surrounded by the most breathtakingly beautiful scenery. It is all on one level and has plenty of facilities for anyone with mobility difficulties, including a very large wet room shower and level access throughout the property. I found the staff to be incredibly helpful and on hand if you have any difficulties. The cottage also has an amount of mobility equipment they are able to loan you as well as some that can be rented. This allows anyone with mobility issues to travel a lot lighter than they would normally. The location of the cottage was also perfect as you are within easy reach of places such as Winchester, Southampton and even Stonehenge.
I cannot recommend Wallops Wood highly enough. We are already trying to plan a return visit at some point.

Excellent accommodation in a lovely setting, cottages very well equipped, enclosed garden with beautiful views, great for dogs, the hot tub was a hit with all the family, beds were lovely and comfortable and bedrooms themselves spacious all with en-suites.
The sitting room area could benefit from some more comfortable furniture but only a minor gripe.

The area itself is really lovely with walks from the doorstep, lots of places to visit and lovely places to eat. We had several delicious
meals at the Bakers Arms, Droxford, particularly good roast and very dog friendly. Bere Forest is great for both dogs and children, we also visited Marwell Zoo which the children loved and also Thruxton Circuit for go-karting.

Liz Horn the cottage manager is very welcoming with lots of local knowledge on walks in the area and places to eat.

We have already booked a return visit!

There were 9 of us in two cottages. The accommodation was excellent and nothing was too much trouble to ensure that we had a very relaxing stay. The cottages have everything you could need and more and the views from the hot tub are amazing. Would thoroughly recommend this accommodation. Only downside was getting lost in the dark, as not easy to find.

We stayed in Sundew and Teal for a 70th birthday celebration over a long weekend in December. It was perfect.

The accommodation is exceptionally comfortable, everything has been provided (and at a very high spec to), large dining table which could easily fit all of us, hot tub which was luxurious and great bedrooms with very comfy beds.

The accommodation is also great for dog owners - you can let the dog out of the patio doors straight into a small fenced garden. This then opens out on to a huge field where a dog can safely run around.

We would definitely recommend both Sundew and Teal.

We are a group of friends who have been taking holidays and long weekends away for over 15 years. sadly, one of our number suffered a stroke which has left him in a wheelchair and therefore the cottages we now use must accommodate this and also specific shower and toilet facilities. Teal is the perfect answer to all our needs both for the able bodied and our friend in the wheelchair. From the moment I booked the cottage nothing has been to much trouble for any of the staff at Wallops Wood. The facilities are excellent in all respects and Teal is best equipped cottage we have used in all the times we have been away. We are all looking forward to returning in the not to distant future.

The cottage was of an exceptional standard, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and furnishing were to a very high standard. But it was the little touches that made the place special; tea, coffee, sugar even a bottle of wine and a cake on arrival. The hot tub was wonderful and i couldn't the location. I really would advise anyone looking for a cottage to stay here.

We had a second fantastic break at Teal, Wallops Wood. They were very welcoming in excellent condition, well equipped. Lovely and quiet. Nice large table to sit out in garden around next to hot tub.
