A return visit (though a different cottage) and despite poor weather a very comfortable stay. The cottage was very clean and everything is high quality. The welcome pack featured mainly local produce which was great.
Just returned from our fifth consecutive stay at Wallops Wood. Everything you could possibly need is provided in the kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Lovely welcome hamper as always. The property was spotlessly clean. Lovely smellies provided in the bathrooms to use, but not keep.
We had no hot water on the second day, but contacted Andrew, the owner, and he was soon round and fixed it. The pool, hot tub and sauna all very welcome. We did not get round to using the games room.
Wallops Wood is quite remote, it is a good 15 minutes drive each way to Denmead, to a great fish and chips shop, Indian res...more
This is our third visit to Wallopswood, and again it didn’t disappoint. We were a group of 10 (4 kids) and a dog and we all enjoyed the pool, the great games room, the country walks to lovely pubs, the stunning views, and the general very high standard of accommodation and attention to detail.
We went a group of 6 women and have to say Glenside is a lovely place to stay few nights!! Beautiful views from the garden making the hot tub experience magical! Especially if the sun is shining, with an amazing sunset! The cottage is very spacious and very well equipped with everything you need! Swimming pool is available where you book your private slot! Lovely welcome hamper on arrival adding the extra touch! We loved the wood burner! Very cosy long weekend. Happily recommend!!!
