We used Shepherds cottage as our base to visit Berwick and the surrounding area and to enjoy the lovely walks from the cottage to the banks of river Tweed. The cottage is dog friendly with a large secure back garden and all the rooms are of a good size. The owners live on the farm only a short walk from the cottage and were most helpful and provide a list of tried and tested locations for meals out. We will return in 2025, Peter.
We have come here for 30 years and never get tired of the scenery, the cottage and the history behind it. We find new things to do every year in the surrounding area. Carol is an amazing host
