The Top Lodge sits on top of the hill enjoying splendid views over our parkland and the Wolds beyond. With one double bedroom and shower room it is the perfect place to base yourself whilst working away from home. We welcome holiday makers to the Top Lodge too. The views over our parkland and farmland are particularly special and the wood burning stove gives the property a homely feel.

We loved our time at Top Lodge, which is probably why we ended up staying for four months. The cottage is tastefully decorated and has all the extras that you could possibly need in the well fitted out kitchen… also there are plenty of logs for the wood burning stove, which makes it so cozy in the cooler months.
The views are just stunning, enhanced by the beautiful herds of cows that graze locally around the property.
There are also some lovely walks close by including a short ‘cross field’ footpath to the ‘Clickem’ Inn, which is a prize winning cask ale pub and serves great food!
This is our third stay in a ‘Thorganby Hall’ property. All of them have been absolutely lovely.

Top Lodge is a beautiful property which is well equipped and well designed.

I understand that one of the owner's used to be an interior designer and you can tell in the way that it has been done out; it has a nice balance between style and comfort to suit all guests. Everything has been well thought of and done to very high standards. There's one well sized bedroom a lovely bathroom with a high quality shower, a comfortable living room, a well equipped kitchen, pantry with fridge/freezer and a downstairs toilet and utility.....all with stunning views over the Lincolnshire Wolds from every angle. The garden is large and well kept and feels even more expansive with the openness and views.

The wifi connection is excellent, something I am always mindful of as I work online and travel regularly. Often connection in such locations can be difficult, but the property is served by its own mast, so there's a perfect mix of having a great connection and being in a retreat-like location surrounded by beautiful countryside!

Perfect for any kind of stay really; but certainly ideally for mid to long term stays - a home away from home!

Had a lovely stay cottage is really nice and very well equipped.
We visited the surrounding area and had a relaxing break.
The weather was really cold but the cottage was warm and snug.

An absolute gem!
Newly renovated to the highest level, all the gadgets, sumptuous guailty bedding, warm cosy feel, relaxing peace and quiet, and breathtaking rural views.
Is there a down side? I couldn't find one.
