Beautiful, recently refurbished, large holiday home to rent. Cozy, comfortable and clean. It is within walking distance of the bustling, cosmopolitan town of Clifden (25 mins by foot, 5 mins by car), near beautiful beaches and just a five minute walk from a local, well-known swimming spot, that is perfect to swim in at high tide. This house is truly in an ideal location to discover all the wonders that Connemara has to offer. It is an ideal property for families or groups.

We had a great stay at Sycamore Cottage. We had stayed in different places on three previous trips but this was the best. There was just the two of us and Bruce the dog. The cottage looked great on the website and we were not disappointed. The cottage was spotless and had everything you might need. The bed was comfy and the heat from the Staney stove in the kitchen was incredible and warmed the whole place. The location was perfect just five mins drive to Clifden and two mins of this is down a small laneway. The dog loved meeting the donkeys and horses further down the lane. We got the Netflix going and the wifi was good. We would certainly recommend Sycamore Cottage and would definitely stay there again next time we visit Clifden.
