This was our 3rd visit to Flowerydell Lodges. We have stayed in a different lodge each time.
All lodges have exceeded my expectations. Chestnut lodge this time was beyond immaculate. All of the extra touches meant so much (a hamper with lovely little Yorkshire treats inside, family games to enjoy whilst at our stay, even down to a few washer tablets to use for the washer!) a beautiful style lodge with easy to use heating, very good WiFi, a luxurious hot tub and everything else, including friendly, welcoming communication from the FD team.
We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday and they also gifted him a hamper for himself with a few treats inside which was also such a lovely touch!
Really can’t recommend Flowery Dell enough ❤️ we love it here!

Michelle and Jackie went above and beyond to have the WiFi restored in chestnut lodge when it stopped working
They brought us a bottle of wine and some chocolate to apologise for the loss of use .
Nothing is too much for the staff they’re all so helpful and friendly.cant wait to go back

We have been to Flowery Dell over 5 times and every visit has been great. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. We take my sister who has Downs Syndrome/Learning Disability and she loves coming with us she especially loves going in to the hot tub after our long day out. We have tried a number of different lodges and Chestnut was our favourite.

Just returned from a week in the beautiful Chestnut, stunning cabin, first time we’ve stopped in Chestnut and we loved it that much we going back to spend Xmas there and our first wedding anniversary on Xmas Eve, everything spot on, staff location and cabin

We normally book Honeysuckle Lodge, but for our 13th visit this year, we decided to stay in Chestnut Lodge. Upon our arrival we received a welcome bag full of goodies and a bag with treats and toy for Ollie our cocker spaniel. The lodge as always was absolutely spotlessly clean and impressively designed, with all amenities provided for a relaxing stay. The location itself is beautiful, quiet and tranquil, with plenty of wildlife to see with an adequate excercise area for dogs to enjoy. You can even walk the dog round the complex. There are also local walks to investigate. Richmond itself is a beautiful small market town within earshot of Hudswell. On a final note the staff deserve all the plaudits for being so friendly and welcoming which makes the holiday feel like home. Booking a staycation at Flowery Dell Lodges and you certainly won’t be disappointed. Hopefully we’ll return again on our 50th anniversary.

We have stayed in each of the different style lodges over the years. The Chestnut is the best for 2 couples. It is spacious and has 2 bathrooms. The Chestnut is ideally located next to a large grassed area perfect for our 4 legged member of the family. Overall another perfect stay.

We would love to say that the weather is always lovely in Yorkshire, but the times it isnt so good its perfect having that undercover hot tub in Chestnut. nothing nicer sat relaxing in the warmth watching the rain. We have stayed here several times before but first time in the new lodge. The lodge was clean and well stocked. The veranda was large and overlooked a wooded area in which deer could be seen early in the morning!
The site is clean and well tended, there is a paddock with some goats and a couple of ponies, the goats were naughty! It is very quiet and relaxing overall. We will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed our weeks stay in Chestnut Lodge at Flowery Dell. The cabin was so comfortable, spotless and well appointed. Perfect location for exploring the surrounding area with loads of lovely walks on the doorstep.

We had a lovely warm welcome from Jackie who couldn’t have been nicer.

We will not hesitate to stay here again

We have visited Flowery Dell lodges for the past 8 years ,sometimes 3 times a year as it is a beautiful ,peaceful haven, lots of wildlife to admire and countryside on your doorstep.
The Lodges are very well kept,home from home they have everything you need ,attention to detail is superb,we stayed in the Chestnut Lodge this visit and it was beautiful,the big plus was to just be able to open the door and the dog was immediately on the field .The immediate area is ideal for your furry friends as their are plenty of fields and walks available.
The staff at Flowery Dell are very friendly and approachable and are always at hand if you need them.
Overall a great place to stay and we have booked again for the New Year

Only problem for us was the rabbits, they were so relaxed and didn’t even run away.
When I took our Border Terrier out last thing at night I counted 17 within 50 metres of our cabin.

Yes, our Rabbits are used to seeing lots of dogs around the site, with your dog being on a lead they will just continue to enjoy what they are doing or they will just run away. This was our fourth and probably best visit to Flowery Dell. We stayed in the new Chestnut lodge which was faultless. The whole site is immaculate and the staff can’t do enough for you. We hated having to leave and can’t wait to return.

I booked up at very short notice.. The staff were friendly and welcomeing instantly made me feel comfortable. I wanted a relaxing weekend, that's exactly what I got. It was so peaceful the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend and definitely return.

Absolutely loved our nights stay in this beautiful new addition to Flowery Dell. This is now our third time staying in these gorgeous lodges. Our first time staying in Chestnut and we loved every single moment. Absolutely wonderful little getaway for a young family. Lodge was immaculate and such amazing outdoor space for the children to play.

We will for sure be returning again this year.

This is the third time we have stayed at Flowery Dell and Chestnut is the best lodge so far. (The other two were also excellent)
Having an extra bathroom makes all the difference with two teenagers and a space to get the dog cleaned up before going into the main living area was a life saver.

The lodge was immaculately clean when we arrived and the location meant we didn’t have cars driving past so it was extra quiet.

Very highly recommended and we will be back.

It is a magical place to be. My stay has been perfect, tucked away in a valley. I wake to the birds singing and the silence of the countryside. At night it is tranquil with no noise/light pollution. There is wildlife right in front of me. The lodge is so comfortable and clean, it has everything I need and more. My stay has been particularly outstanding. It is the best, believe me. I thank you all who make this place what it is, simply amazing!
