Consistency is key and after staying for the past 25 years - flowery dell is still the perfect place to go. Rabbits running everywhere and peace and quiet of the woods.
We have just returned from a 5 night break at Flowery Dell in their beautiful Honeysuckle Lodge. This was our first time staying in the Honeysuckle but not our first time at Flowery Dell. We’ve stayed a number of times over the years in different lodges and The Honeysuckle lodge did not disappoint it was perfect. We would highly recommend Flowery Dell to anyone who wants a relaxing break away from. We will return there’s no doubt about that, 5 star site in our opinion.

Flowery Dell is our perfect little place to reset and switch off. It’s peaceful, cosy and surrounded by beautiful woodland, with lots of lovely little touches that make it feel really special. We loved seeing the rabbits and birds around the site, and the woodland setting is so calm and relaxing. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially in the evening under the stars. It’s a lovely place to escape for a few days, relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. We’ll definitely be back!
Our sixth visit to flowery dell stayed in different lodges and found them all very comfortable and excellent facilities. We love the peace and quiet of the site and the wild life,and just a mile from Richmond .will be staying again in the future à
We have had many happy stays at Flowery Dell over the years. It’s situated only 5mins drive from the town of Richmond and only a 20min walk. It’s a great place to relax and unwind, it really is our ‘Escape to the country’ The lodge was immaculately clean, comfy beds as always and such a peaceful site. We have visited in all the seasons but Autumn has to be our favourite.The colours around Flowery and the Dales were amazing. We visited Ripon which was only 35 mins away and had a fabulous walk along the canal with views of the marina and were lucky to spot a Kingfisher. There are so many lovely ...more
Flowery Dell holds such a special place in our hearts. This was our 8th stay here in 10 years, and every single time we return, it feels like coming home. We’ve stayed in Mulberry Lodge, Whitebeam and several other lodges over the years, sometimes bringing our daughters and our dog, and often just the two of us for some much-needed time together. There is something truly special about this place. From the beautiful surroundings to the peaceful atmosphere, it’s everything we could wish for and more. A well equipped lodge in a lovely location overlooking the dell. Generally very clean although there was a smell of drains in the bathroom. An elderly person or someone with less mobility might struggle with the stairs in the lodge which were quite tricky. The hot tub was a massive bonus. The area is beautiful and Richmond only a few minutes drive. Plenty to do round about. We had a meal in the George and Dragon up the road and thought it very overpriced for what it was. The Black Lion in Richmond was much better. Overall a very enjoyable 4 night stay.
Our second stay in this lodge … Really relaxing, hot tub is amazing. Well equipped, lovely location and even though close to home feels like we are miles away. We will be visiting again am sure!

Very relaxing comfortable stay in a peaceful stunning location. Wildlife autumnal changes beautiful.
The lodge is in a very peaceful and quiet location surrounded by woodland and wildlife. Part of its charm is there are only a few lodges and it is wonderfully quiet. It is within easy walking distance to Richmond and there are plenty of walks from your doorstep. The lodge has everything you might need and is comfortable. The hot tub on your private deck is a real plus point and the lodge park is very dog friendly.

The surroundings were peaceful and absolutely gorgeous, making it the perfect place to switch off and enjoy some quality time together. Everything was clean, well looked after and welcoming, and you could really tell that a lot of care had gone into making the stay special. The lodge was a perfect base for exploring the area, so quiet and peaceful. Loads of room for the four of us two adults with 13 & 10 year olds. Felt very secluded, tranquil and private. Everything was clean and tidy with the lodge being very well equipped. It was great to be able to walk into Richmond from the lodge.
We stayed for 6 nights over August. Location and setting were excellent. The site is beautifully maintained. Our children enjoyed playing on the small park and had lots of space to play outside safely. We liked walking up to see the goats and searching for rabbits. We also enjoyed the local county pubs for a drink and an evening meal. The lodge was well maintained and well stocked. We thought the arrival pack with chocolates, biscuits, teas etc were a lovely touch and very much appreciated after a long day of sightseeing and arriving late!
