This was our second stay at Flowery Dell, having previously stayed in the 2020 February half term (just before lockdown!). We said at the time, this would be a lovely place to stay with a dog and we decided to bring our 1 year old miniature schnauzer this year. The lodge was so comfortable and has everything you need. A fantastic base camp to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Hopefully we will need leave it 5 years before we return. Thank you to all the worker bees that keep the place running smoothly.
We was a family of 5 with dogs staying in the Wild Cherry lodge, we had a wonderful time, the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. We made good use of the bbq and hot tub. It’s a short walk into Richmond if you follow the footpath (turn left at the site entrance). This is 3rd time we have stayed at Flowery Dell and we highly recommend it.
The lodge was stunning on entry - very clean with all facilities. Slept well-balcony furniture good.Dog exercising area enjoyable with seats in shade.
It is so good at flowery dell we can’t wait until our next visit. They are so pet friendly and we are always made to feel welcome.

We had a lovely peaceful and quiet week at Flowery Dell. Perfect location for day excursions or if you just want to spend the day at the lodge. The staff are really friendly. Will definitely be going back.
As returning customers we cannot thank Michelle and her team at Flowery Dell enough for making our stay amazing. We choose Hawthorn lodge because of its location, views, tranquility, comfort and much more. The positives about Flowery Dell are too long to list however the negatives are yet to be found. We love Flowery Dell and will return soon
Flowery dell is our go to place to ensure we have the perfect break without worrying if everything will be ok. For around 11 years we have stayed in the log cabins but for 100% privacy and total peace and quiet we choose Honeysuckle Lodge. Everything is just how you would choose for a perfect relaxing holiday a true home from home, the accommodation, staff and information provided are second to none. A big 5 star bundle with a gold ribbon tied around. Try it you wont be looking for anywhere else.
This was our first stay at Flowery Dell. On arrival the lodge was spotless, well equipped and hot tub was ready to use. The grounds are immaculate and very peaceful. All the staff are so friendly and helpul with advice regarding walks and pllaces to visit. We visted Barnard Castle, Asygarth Falls and had a lovely walk round Richmond including Easby Castle. Our dog loved the decking and kept an eye on all the rabbits & wildlife! Have already recommended the lodges to friends and family.
Absolutely perfect was not one thing wrong at all we have booked another stay already. Very clean and kitchen was very good had everywhere there to cook with
Me, the wife and peppa the dog spent 3 nights here as a little break away and we certainly made an excellent choice. The cabin had everything you needed in the kitchen (except couldnt find an egg cup!) The place was exceptionally clean and the little welcome packs for us and one for the dog was a nice touch. The hot tub on the balcony was welcome after a day exploring Yorkshire and was checked twice a day without disturbing your stay. There was plenty of space around the site to walk the dog who liked chasing the hundreds of rabbits that were about! We will certainly be back again soon
Stayed the one night with my girlfriend. The place was spotless, the grounds were lovely. Sauna and hot tub are a lovely touch along with the hamper on arrival. We will definitely be returning. Thank you flowery dell.
Great location for this little gem of a site which is small and beautifully maintained. The lodge was well equipped to a high standard, the beds lovely and comfy, the hot tub just right and the staff friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault it!
Just spent a lovely relaxing stay at Flowery Dell , so peaceful ,and welcoming ,being surrounded by nature was a lovely bonus , we loved it . Comfortable dog friendly lodge with all you might need , and much more .Our two BT’s Jack n Mac were in heaven with the walks although they weren’t allowed off lead because of all the adorable bunnies ,of which there were many they kept us entertained for most of the time .Our first time with a hot tub , and that was a big from us . I’m sure we will be returning , and lm more than happy to recommend Flowery Dell
We stayed in the sycamore lodge and it was beautiful nice and peaceful with wonderful views it’s a place to unwind and chill in the hot tub which is tested every day for cleanliness
Yew lodge was perfectly clean and well equipped kitchen wise. The bathroom, shower room and kitchen look as if they've been modernised with new units but the shower itself was inadequate as it is such a small cubicle with a hand held shower head, the ensuite shower room is minute. There is a lack of storage in the bedrooms, clothes that didn't need hanging up in the wardrobe just had to be left folded up on the spare beds so good job there were only two of us. We came for a friend’s birthday and had a great time. The lodge was immaculate, well equipped and even left little touches like a hamper and bottle of bubbly. Beds were so comfy. From booking to checking in the staff were so lovely. Location is great - we walked into Richmond and lots of walks etc around. The only tiny problem was the shower temperature. But I’m sure if we would have asked they would have sorted it. Would definitely come back
